Inggit breezed away leaving Mama Olla who was crying while beating Fandi like a mother who punishes her naughty child. Inggit was just engrossed in the room continuing his artistic activities. The sound of a fight that occurred in front of the room he ignored and covered his ears with earphones containing classical music. While being engrossed in painting, the door of his room was again pounded tightly. Inggit opened his earphones to know who this time banged on his bedroom door while shouting loudly.
"Open your door, Git!" Fandi's voice sounded furious. More angry than ever. Fandi continued banging on the door of Inggit's room in wrath.
Without fear Inggit walked towards the door and opened it. Inggit folded his hands on his chest and looked at Fandi so casually. "Why, Mas?" inggit asked casually and without feeling guilty at all.
"It's crazy of you, Git! Why the hell do you have to unlock the secrets about our marriage in front of Mama?" accuse Fandi. "You're supposed to close the meeting, not make things mess up like this!"
"Where is my fault, Mom? I'm just being honest! Why should it be covered? Mama deserves to know what happened in our household. Hasn't Mama been interfering with our household all this time?" joaned with ease.
Fandi gets more emotional hearing Inggit's answer. "You realize no, you've opened my secret in front of Mama. Mama's mad at me."
"Mama should know, right? What did I do was wrong, right? I'm just telling you the truth" Inggit asked without feeling guilty at all.
"You're still wrong, aren't you wrong? It was wrong dong! Because of you, Mama is now scouting and questioning my normalcy as a man. I'm normal! Because your mouth can't be brake, Mama thinks I like the same sex! All because of your words." Fandi was furious while pointing at Inggit.
"Mas is angry with me because I'm telling the truth? Not wrong? Mas, as long as Mas knows yes, that's how I feel every time Mama Olla comes with a test pack and tells me to check on my pregnancy, that kind of anger I feel. Are you feeling angry now? That's how I felt when Mama Olla insulted me as if I was a barren woman who couldn't give you a child. I was shunned, scorned, humiliated and bullied for 3 years, Mas. I was angry to be treated so. I was so angry as I feel now. Do you understand how I feel? Are you defending me? No!" reply without fear.
Fandi held back his anger. His chest seemed to rise and fall with his roaring breath. "Yes you don't open the secrets of our household dong same Mama. Do you know that a wife's duty should cover her husband's disgrace? Why did you open it in front of Mama?"
Anggit smiled mockingly at Fandi's words. "What did Mas say? Wife must cover the disgrace of husband? Hello ... Had forgotten? It's been 3 years I've always covered my disgrace. Did I get an award from Mas for doing that? Absolutely not, Mom. How now? Taste good?"
"You!" Fandi pointed back at Inggit. Fandi is at a loss for words to reply to Inggit.
"What's? Why me? My words are too true for you to refute, Mas? It's not much, Mom. Your brother who does not know manners also insulted me. I was older than him, but he treated me like a slave he could tell. Do you know, Mas? Yeah, you know but you pretend you don't know. Where were you when your whole family insulted me? Do you defend me because the duty of the husband is to defend the honor of his wife. You did your job? If you're not doing your job well, why are you telling me to cover up your disgrace? I'm just following what my priests do" said Inggit.
Apparently the words Dalvin told Inggit to fight have been embedded in Inggit's mind. Without fear Inggit took out all the grunts in him. They no longer care about their homes. There was nothing he was afraid of anymore. Even poor lives are common. Even if divorced and returned to being poor, Inggit will not lack anything. At least he would stand up while raising his head for daring to defend his own pride. He does not want to live with insults every day.
"I'm tired, Mas. I am tired of the house full of pretenses that we have lived for 3 years. Because you won't defend me, your family just trampled on me. I have pride, Mom. Even though I'm an orphan, I can't accept myself being insulted by your family. Try to feel it so I'm just one, then you'll know how unhappy it is to live like this." Inggit breathed in.
Fandi's emotions began to subside because of Inggit's true words as if slapping him who had always been cold because of his past trauma. "You shouldn't have to reveal our household secrets, we know enough" Fandi murmured softly.
"Mas, I don't live up to your expectations. Never mind, we better split up, Mom. I'm tired of going through all this. I am a poor man who is not fit to marry a rich man like you. We are too different to be together!" Inggit closed the door to his room and locked it.
"Git, open the door. Let's talk!"
"Git, pull back your words. I don't want us to get divorced!"
Inggit leaned his head behind the door. Her tears fell along with the tiredness her heart felt.

Inggit kept shutting himself in the room. He went out to get food and went back into the room. The house is a broken ship. Inggit no longer cares. Fandi had to clean it all up.
The sadness in Inggit went away as Dalvin called his name cheerfully from the front of the house. Dalvin deliberately waited for Fandi to go to work first so that he could meet Inggit.
"Write!" call Dalvin.
"Write!" call Dalvin again.
Soon enough, he wanted to get out of his house. "Why, Mas?" Ask Inggit.
"Kangen," Dalvin replied with a smile.
Inggit smiled at Dalvin's reply. "Seriously ah don't keep joking, what's up? "
"So not at the art exhibition?"
Hearing the word art exhibition, Inggit's eyes immediately sparkled. "So dong!" answer me without thinking
"Let's get ready. Bring all your artwork you want to show off. We're leaving now!" bring Dalvin.
