Towards the Island

"Out island? How did you know them?" Alan was beginning to wonder about the story.

"Journey of Alan's business. Your dad got a new project there. Didn't expect to see Alana's family." replied Mama.

"Where's that? Exactly what?"

"They live on a small island. It is called Rotana Island. Find Ellyasvega's family, everyone there knows. Bring the girl here, Alan. My mom wants to meet him too. It's been a long time since Mama's been there." pinta Mama.

"Rotana Island? Alan just heard. Is that girl from the village?" alan's tone sounded unhappy.

"From a village or town, only that girl deserves you." As if knowing the contents of his child's heart, "Trust Mama." said Mama gave advice.

Alan took a deep breath. He seems to be in big trouble if he marries a village girl. Honestly, this marriage was so hard for her.

"As soon as you meet him, Mama listen, they'll be moving in a little while" Mama said.

"Why did they move?" asked Alan astonished.

"They want to go back to where they came from. They're staying there because of your father. Waiting for his promise to pick up their daughter. And you'll pick her up, her future husband."

I want Alan to laugh. It turned out that the girl's family already knew of this plan. Only he, only he had not known! All right, he should not. He was also curious about the family. So Alan decided to go there.

Alan began to prepare to leave. He was well dressed. As always, formal work clothes with expensive suits, feet covered in shiny shoes and the latest Rolex watches. He saw his reflection in the mirror. A handsome man with millions of charms himself, now preparing to pick up the village girl who is not worthy of his company. Doesn't that sound ironic? Alan laughed wryly.

"Is everything ready?"

"I'm in the lobby. Our flight's in 1 hour." Felix replied at the end of the phone call.

"Hm, you have additional tickets ready?"

"It has. We can go right away."

"Good."

Alan tidied his tie for a moment, then walked out of the apartment.

The Boss did live in his private apartment. Choosing to live independently from the mother since deciding to take care of the company. Steps he must take to avoid things that are cooled when starting a business. Anything can happen to him, and Alan doesn't want his mother to feel anxious about it.

Alan exited the door, outside was on standby 1 bodyguard who was ready to take orders from the Boss.

"You guys stay here. I'll go alone." Alan said.

"Well sir." they answered simultaneously.

Alan stepped into the elevator. He went down to the lobby where Felix was waiting.

"We're going to take a long time to get there. About 12 hours." explains Felix when they got to the car.

"What kind of journey does it take that long?" hatch Alan.

"The distance of the ship to the island is quite long. We will stop at Dori Island and then just to Rotana island. After that we ride the motorcycle da-"

"You ****?! You want me to do all that?" alan protest.

"You think I want to know that?! Fucking ****!" continue to curse because of annoyance, he already looks neat and their journey must be passed uncomfortably? Riding bikes? What a cold place is that really?!

Felix was silent, he knew when to talk. The boss must calm down first. Free to reply, he would only hear the words of the zoo afterwards.

What Felix said was true. The road to the island is not easy. The plane landed in the town of M, after which they had to head to the dock. It took an hour to wait for their ship to set sail.

When they reached Dori Island, they drove back approximately 4 hours to arrive at the pier which is at the eastern end of the island. Even there, they are required to wait for a small boat that will take them to the island of Rotana. It was late in the afternoon, when their boat came.

Alan was stunned to see the shape of the boat. Residents said there were only 2 boats operating there. And it must be stacked with other passengers who have been queuing far away. Never imagined, how difficult it is to get to where he is heading.  If he had known this was the case, Alan would have chosen not to go.

"An hour we arrive. I rented a motorcycle there. So our journey will be faster." explains Felix.

"Faster did you say? I'm almost on fire here, and we haven't reached our destination yet?!!" alan's growled in the throat. It felt like he wanted to throw his fist into the sea to stop talking nonsense! Since I said it will soon arrive, now they are in the middle of the sea before evening like this! Huddle with passengers carrying their merchandise. Alan believes they intend to return to their home after they finish selling on the neighboring Island. Alan could not imagine how the condition of his future wife's family. Just like them, people dressed in shabby clothes with sweat still dripping on the skin.

When he reached the end of the dock, and intended to get off the boat, a mother accidentally almost fell in front of Alan. Reflex, Alan held the mother's body. The woman smiled happily when a handsome man helped her.

"Thank you handsome, my God, you're so handsome!" exclaim mother that makes them the center of attention of the people there.

Alan wanted to take off the grip on the mother but his hand was held tightly. Alan felt uncomfortable, he lyrics Felix intends to ask for help.

"Sorry Madam, can you please take off my Boss' hand?" felix said as he tried to remove the woman's grip.

"Duh, duh, already handsome, nice body, boss anyway. Lucky woman who will marry you." praise the mother while distancing herself, still smiles in awe.

"Ih, mrs Suli flirtatious, know a man seger." said another woman. Also mothers.

"Yes, young leaves should not be treated as well. Poor young girl. Not yet turned. Ckck." Saut another friend.

Now Alan is the talk of the village mothers. They are not much different from complex mothers. Alan took a deep breath starting to get caught off guard by the current situation.

"Where the hell are you? I don't think it's anyone here." asked Suli. Look closely at Alan's appearance. Only now there are people in the village who have a cross-faced like Alan.

"We're just visiting, there's a friend here" Felix replied. "Then we go first, excuse me."

Felix takes Alan away from the crowd of mothers. Walk up to the already visible highway.

"Do you want to help Mas? There are a lot of criminals. It's not good for you to be wandering around here. It's night too." The woman named Bu Suli suddenly followed them. Offer help.

Alan chose to stay away, letting Felix face the flirtatious woman.

"No need, thanks for the help. We've booked the vehicle." Felix replied.

"Here I find mas." still kekeh persuaded.

"no need. Thank you." Thank you."

"Not papa. Come on mas."

Felix wanted to put his hands down, but at the same time, footsteps approached.

"Can I help you? Are you guys looking for a ride?"
