Sobs filled the mortuary room that felt cold and silent. Niana was seen standing quietly in front of Dirga's body lying on top of the branka. He just looked at Renata and Mama Sofi who were crying hugging Dirga's body. His heart was actually also curious to make sure that the one lying lifeless in front of him was not Dirga. Mr. Ken who stood among them was seen swallowing the saliva and throwing it away as if unable to see their grief. Mama Sofi and Renata stopped hugging Dirga and closed the white cloth back to her face.
"Niana don't you want to see it" asked Aska who was standing next to Niana
"I want to see both hands. If he is right Dirga's body must be wearing the bracelet I gave him" said Niana who remained silent with a trembling heart and her hands look clenched squeezing the end of her clothes.
"Wristbands?" lirih Mama Sofi and Renata liri together and looked at each other out of curiosity
"Yes the bracelet I knit myself and I gave it to Dirga's birthday gift. He promised to always wear the bracelet. If she really Dirga must be wearing the bracelet I gave her" said Niana rubbed the clear details that fell in the corner of her eyes because she remembered Dirga's promise about the bracelet she gave
"Alright, I'll help you open the cloth" Aska said
Aska also began to open the cover cloth on the left hand. Everyone was curious to know if Dirga's body in front of him was wearing a bracelet that Niana mentioned or not. Niana's heart trembled even more as Aska's hand opened the cloth. After the cloth was opened Niana looked at Dirga's left hand carefully and then asked Aska to close again because her left hand was not wearing anything.
"I want to see his right hand" said Niana and then Mr. Ken who was on the right side immediately helped open the cloth on the right that covered Dirga's body
Mr. Ken opened the cloth doubtfully. After the cloth on the right hand was opened, he was seen staring at Mama Sofi and Renata then moved to look at Niana who made them all more curious to interpret Mr. Ken's gaze. Then Mr. Ken put Dirga's hand to the top of his belly so that everyone could see him.
Niana's teary eyes stared at the hand while shaking her head. His heart was violently shaken and the entire bone supporting his body felt limp and his mind felt dizzy like it was drunk. He closed his nose and mouth as if in disbelief. It looks like a watch that Dirga often wears. The bracelet he gave was actually in the right hand of the body that had been stretched stiff in front of him.
"No.." she softly stepped back and tearfully shook her head
Niana suddenly fainted. Aska who was nearby swiftly propped up Niana's body and carried it. They immediately took Niana to the treatment room of VVIP Hospital Sanjaya which was provided specifically for the Sanjaya family. Mr. Ken immediately called his obstetrician to check on Niana.
The doctor said the condition of the fetus in Niana's womb is fine. However, the doctor asked the family to provide support and encouragement for Niana so that her psychic did not get worse. Moreover, her condition is pregnant and her emotions are more volatile. They also have to be more determined in order to entertain Niana and bring Niana out of her slump for her mental and physical health.
Aska had contacted his family in Surabaya when Dirga's body was found. A few hours later the families of Pak Hadi and Ibu Arini and Liana came. They immediately approached Niana who sat down in front of the body of Dirga who had been surrounded by takziah who was reciting prayers.
"Niana, you have to be patient and sincere, baby. Mama and your father will always be with you" said Arini's mother who had embraced Niana and Niana could only sob with tears unable to say a word
"The father's daughter must be strong, remember you must continue to be enthusiastic for the sake of your future child" said Mr. Hadi and Niana immediately moved to hug her father with tears and looked difficult to swallow his saliva
"Sister Niana should be excited, we're all with sister. Surely the little sister in the belly of the big sister is happy that her mother is smiling" said Liana who was sitting next to her. Niana smiled thinly even though it was painful to force her lips to smile
The next morning Niana was still in her grief. His eyes could only stare blankly and his mouth was silent as if there was no spirit in his life. Half his soul seemed to be gone leaving him alone. Even from yesterday he had no appetite, even though he had forced himself to eat but the food was still out. Niana was in such a condition from yesterday until the funeral procession Dirga until Dirga was put into her final resting place this afternoon.
The mourners who helped deliver Dirga's body to his final resting place began to leave the tomb. Niana was the last to leave Dirga's meal. He began to walk to his family on the street. When his bodyguards helped him cross the road, suddenly there was someone riding a motorcycle at high speed to almost graze Niana who was daydreaming at that time. It was fortunate that the other bodyguards directly pulled him to the curb.
I don't know who drives a motorcycle like a street brand and seems to deliberately want to harm Niana. Mr Ken followed him with the car, but the bike was so agile that it was not overtaken. The motor also does not have a license plate so it is difficult to track it.
Aska immediately approached Niana who looked trembling in shock when the bike almost hit her. He grabbed Niana and helped her cross.
Now the atmosphere of the house is deserted from the mourners. Mr. Hadi and Ms. Arini decided to stay at Sanjaya's house for a week to join in sending prayers for the 7 days of Dirga's departure and to encourage Niana. The presence of his family is quite able to divert the sadness of Niana so as not to drag on in it.
After 7 days of Dirga's departure, Niana seems to have begun to be able to organize her heart. He tried to be strong because many families were near him and always supported him. Pak Hadi and Ibu Arini also say goodbye to return to Surabaya. They promised to come again during the 4 months of Niana's pregnancy.
It's been two weeks that Niana has lived without Dirga beside her. When with many people, he can momentarily forget all the sadness and happy memories while with Dirga. But when night came, a sense of loneliness and the shadow of Dirga began to approach his memory.
"Dear, I missed you. Did you really leave me and the little guy? Why are you leaving so soon? Didn't you promise to come see me and not make me wait anymore? Why are you leaving us forever?" inner Niana who had laid her body on the mattress while looking at the photo of Dirga on the nightstand until her tired eyes began to cry
