Chapter 16: The Toughest Decision


After an all-out fight against the Orc army in the underground cavern, the Adventure Guild finally found a clue on how to return to their home world. However, it does not come without cost. Several members of the group had been seriously injured in the battle and their food supplies were running low.

"This fight is very dangerous" said Eris, the witch, who was still in a state of fatigue after using her magic in battle. "I think we should move to find a way out of this cave as quickly as possible."


"Yes," said Yumi. "We can't stay here constantly. We need to find a way out and seek help from the people out there."


Hiro nodded in agreement, yet he felt that something was wrong with the plan. "But, what will happen to the injured person if we have to move on?" tanyakanya. "We must take them with us and find a safe place to rest and heal them first."


All the members of the Adventure Guild pondered for a moment, realizing the truth in Hiro's words. They can not only think about their own interests, but also have to think about the health and safety of other members.


"There may be a sanctuary closer than we thought," Liam said after considering input from all members of the Adventure Guild. "Let's try to move towards a place that we think will be safer and rest for a while there before we continue to look for a way out of this world."


All the members of the Adventure Guild agreed to the plan and they began to move carefully, avoiding the Orc army that was still roaming the cave. They carry the injured members carefully and strive to remain under the protection of each other.
