Chapter 8: The Fight in the Forbidden City
Hiro and Yumi stared at the large building in front of them with great admiration. The building was made of mysterious black stone, with elaborate gold and silver decorations. However, that beauty was seen starting to fade as they approached the gate.
"Forbidden City," Yumi muttered in a worried tone. "I never imagined we'd be here."
"We have to go in to finish this task," Hiro said, trying to calm Yumi and himself down.
They are sent to look for evidence of the existence of an evil sorcerer within the city. However, the Forbidden City was a place that most adventurers avoided because of its fearsome reputation.
They entered the city and looked around. The buildings looked empty and neglected, with thick layers of dust everywhere.
Suddenly, they were blocked by a group of goblins coming out from behind the building. They were ready to fight, but before they could take out their weapons, a soft-hearted warrior emerged from behind them and struck the goblin with his sword.
"You must be careful here" said the soldier. "The Forbidden City is full of dangers."
The soldier later introduced himself as Sir Richard, one of the members of the Adventure Guild. He then leads Hiro and Yumi towards the city center, where they find more clues about the evil witch's whereabouts.
On the way, they are confronted by a small army of criminals led by a man named Raven. Raven pulled out her sword and challenged Sir Richard to a fight.
Sir Richard calmly responded and fought with Raven. The fight was quite fierce and looked difficult for Sir Richard, but with incredible strength and agility, he managed to defeat Raven.
After the fight, they continued their journey to the palace in the center of the city. There, they find an evil witch, who turns out to be a beautiful woman enjoying tea in the middle of the courtyard.
After a short negotiation, Hiro and Yumi manage to persuade the woman to leave the city and join the Adventure Guild.
However, when they try to leave the city, they are confronted by a large army of monsters led by a powerful creature named Gorgon. Sir Richard led their army to fight the monsters, and after a long and difficult fight, they managed to defeat the Gorgon and his army.
Hiro and Yumi are impressed by Sir Richard's bravery and skill, and they promise to learn more about him and become stronger like him. They follow Sir Richard into a secret room at the Adventure Guild headquarters, where he reveals that he was once an elite soldier in the royal army. However, on a mission, he lost most of his army and nearly died. After that, he felt down and lost his confidence.
Hiro and Yumi are shocked to hear the story, as they have all seen Sir Richard as invincible. However, they also felt inspired because they knew that even a hero of Sir Richard's caliber could suffer defeat. From that story, they learn that true power is not about invincibility, but about how we bounce back after defeat.
After that, Hiro and Yumi started training even harder, looking for ways to improve their abilities. They also continued to carry out the tasks assigned by Guilds, and the more they did, the more confident they became.
The mission goes smoothly at first, but suddenly they are confronted with a group of goblins that are much stronger than they thought. Sir Richard is mortally wounded in the fight, and the situation becomes even more unfortunate when Yumi is caught in a trap.
Hiro panicked and did not know what to do. However, he recalled Sir Richard's words about how true power is not about invincibility, but about how we bounce back after defeat. With a strong determination, Hiro manages to free Yumi from the trap and finds a gap in the goblin's defense.
Together, the Adventure Guild successfully completes the mission and rescues the kidnapped nobles. After the fight, Sir Richard acknowledged the abilities and decisiveness of Hiro and Yumi, and stated that they had become an important part of the Adventure Guild. In high spirits, Hiro and Yumi vow to continue learning and growing together, all while exploring this new world and facing threatening dangers.
In a short period of time, the Adventure Guilds had set out into the middle of the forest to find and defeat the Dragon. Their journey was not easy, as they had to pass through several obstacles and avoid any threatening dangers. However, they managed to arrive at the intended place.
Arriving there, they discover that the Dragon is not an easy enemy to defeat. Its large size and its hard scales made their attacks not have much effect. They had to fight hard and devise a new strategy to defeat the Dragon.
After several hours of resistance, Sir Richard finally found a gap between the Dragon's scales. He used it to attack the Dragon's weak point. After the attack, the Dragon fell down and fought weaker.
The Adventure Guild took this opportunity to attack with the rest of their manpower. With teamwork and their respective skills, they finally managed to defeat that Dragon.
After winning, they returned to the city and gave a report to the royal side. They get the praise and rewards they deserve for their success. Hiro and Yumi were very proud of themselves and the Adventure Guild, and they knew that their adventure was not finished yet.
They continue to carry out missions and fight against stronger enemies. Hiro and Yumi learn a lot about themselves and become stronger in the process. They grew up as adventurers and true friends in the Adventure Guild. Finally, after much struggle and sacrifice, they managed to find a way to return to their own world.
However, they would never forget their experiences in that alternate world. They know that the experience has shaped them and taught them a lot about courage, friendship, and the true meaning of adventure.
After successfully returning to their own world, Hiro and Yumi yearn for their adventure lives in an alternate world. They decided to continue to maintain a good relationship with their friends in the Adventure Guild and promised to return if there was another chance.
Sometime after returning, Hiro and Yumi discover that the Adventure Guild is now famous as a legendary brave group in the online world. They were shocked and proud that they had once been part of the group.
Hiro and Yumi continue to play their online games with a new spirit after their experiences in the alternate world. They realize that the world of online gaming is not just a place to have fun, but it can also provide valuable experiences and lessons.
In their daily lives, Hiro and Yumi also apply the lessons they learned from their adventures in the alternate world. They become more courageous and resilient in the face of life's challenges, and their friendship becomes even tighter.
