The After The Divorce
33. Comfortably

...If I choose another shoulder to lean on, don't blame me because there are more comfortable shoulders when you also choose to share them with others....

...🌺🌺🌺...

As usual, Dirga always went home before going to the office after teaching on campus.

Actually not without reason he came home, Dirga is not a person who likes to keep a change of clothes in the car, when he became a lecturer he dressed like a lecturer, he was a lecturer, wearing a plain shirt or batik without a suit but when he goes to the office he will dress formally like a boss of a company, not because he wants to show his identity as a boss but he only wants to respect his clients during meetings, one of them by dressing properly like them.

His car was already parked in front of the house, with quick steps he headed to the side stairs of the house, but his steps came to a halt as his beads of eyes stared at the large glass window connected to the family room, there usually when he came home from campus like this he would wave his hands to two cute little angels who were playing behind the window glass.

Hmhhh ....

Dirga sighed, her smile fading as she found the house quiet, and,

"They must be having fun with her father" he murmured softly, saying it was like something was stuck in her chest.

Since her closeness a few weeks ago with Nina's children made her feel like she had.

With her shaky steps Dirga returned up the stairs, her spirit seemed to fade away. With lethargy he dropped his body onto the sofa, usually he could joke first with the children before returning to work. At least the sound of laughter of children is used to decorate the quiet house.

Then the net was focused on a plate that was on the table, the same plate that was always there when he returned from campus.

Suddenly the corner of his lips pulled upwards to form a smile arch, his hand quickly stretched out to open the hood that covered the plate, several pieces of fried food were presented on the plate complete with green chili.

Although it is no longer warm, but the savory taste of fried food can always spoil Dirga's tongue.

"Why did I not realize it in the past, who knows if the taste of fried food is in fact the same, and the maker is the same" he said while laughing at his insensitivity to such an obvious thing.

Until the sound of the car stopping below stopped his chewing, he rushed to see who came at the clock like this.

"That man," he muttered as he looked at the man who got down from the car, instantly his smile broke when he saw who was coming down.

"Sasa," he called out spontaneously to make the two children and the man who drove him raise his head to the second floor.

"Uncle Aga," cried Sasa as he let go of his grip on the father's hand and ran over to Dirga, where he came, because they did not want Sasa to run up the date too far Dirga also chose to approach Sasa until they met right in the middle of the stairs, swiftly Dirga raised the tiny body of Sasa.

"Slowly, slowly" said Akmal, who ran after Sasa.

"Sasa kangen same uncle Aga," said Sasa while tightly hugging Dirga's body as if he did not want to let go.

"Uncle, lonely uncle there is no you" said Dirga while wiping the top of Sasa's hair, Akmal who also chased his sister also embraced Dirga without saying anything.

Realizing that, Dirga squatted back and carried Akmal with his right arm while the left arm he used to hold Sasa.

"Akmal, are you all right?" dirga and Akmal asked, nodding their heads.

Dirga also brought the children down the stairs while joking, visible occasional smile fluffy from the lips Akmal and Sasa.

Kamal who was still standing in his place, looked at the incident with astonishment, full of questions as well as feelings of envy. Even when with her children will not smile that freely.

"Sasa, Akmal, what are you doing!? Here is the same father," Kamal said as he walked over to Dirga, snatching Sasa and Akmal from Dirga's hands violently.

"Woe relax, bro, relax" said Dirga, handing over Sasa and Akmal despite appearing unwilling.

"I'm their father, so you don't mess around" Kamal said with some emotion.

"It's none of your business." Kamal lowered his children and looked at Akmal,

"Says he'll pick up a book, a sneak in and take Sasa, too, I'll wait here."

"Well, well" said Akmal with his head bowed while holding Sasa's hand and they entered the house after opening the key.

Now outside the house of Kamal and Dirga, Dirga turned around and was about to climb the stairs,

"Wait,"

Having received instructions from Kamal, Dirga stopped his steps, and he turned back, turning his body,

"Can I help you?"

"You who?" tanya Kamal made Dirga frowned as if he was thinking, trying to digest the question of the man in front of him, until Kembu asked, Kembu asked,

"Why are you here?"

"I live on top" Dirga said, pointing to the second floor he lived on.

"So you're contracted too? Good." Dirga had no intention of refuting Kamal's words, he wanted to hear what Kamal wanted to say next, and then,

"The children are my children, the women who live under that are my ex-wives, so I hope you don't mess with them much less take their heart for the sake of approaching my ex-wife, he said, understand!"

Dirga clucked, he did not expect the man in front of him to think that short-sightedly, he did not think that,

"I'm sorry before, but I never thought that, if your children choose to be close to me, maybe because they don't get comfort from their own father, excuse me."

Dirga turned around and left Kamal, who was upset, but he also could not make up for Dirga's words.

Sasa and Akmal returned with a thick book in his hand,

"Have you?" ask Kamal.

"That's it, yeah,"

"Yes, let's go back to my father's house" said Kamal and Akmal entered first while Sasa was still looking for something.

"Sasa, come on in." Kamal ordered,

"Wait on, Sasa pamit om Aga first," instantly. Kamal's face turned irritated again.

"She's not there, let's go in." Sasa's disappointed face got into the car, but he kept looking up hoping the man could see him while he was gone, and sure enough, his lips instantly expanded when he saw the man standing behind the large glass window while waving his hand, he also asked Sasa to keep smiling and then gave two thumbs up when Sasa smiled again until the car drove away from the mansion.
