Challenges From Olympus: A Welcome to the Underworld (Part I)

You want to know the contents in the Greek version of Underworld? Hades' cage? The Acheron River here is black as oil even when I see the paddle from Charon, the splashed water looks clear.

The ship Charon reminds me of Noah's ark when God sent a great flood long before Christ. I was quite astonished and impressed when Charon could row this boat with that little stick.

Around me are also many spirits that if I try to touch it even penetrated it.

"Why am I the only one who still has a physical body?" I asked Charon.

"That's because you're a special guest of Mr. Hades. Mr. Hades has his own plans when you get to Tartarus." Charon.

"Brittle. I'm a special guest of the god Underworld." I said in a satirical tone. Steady, warm welcome from the host directly.

The river path began to shrink and we began to enter 2 cliff slits. On the ark I saw a lot of Harpies flying around the cliff like vultures ready to grab at any time. After all if you ask how the sky is in the Underworld, then I will answer. It contained only a super dark cloud as if a storm was about to break out. Red and purple lightning snatched the cliffs and sea water.

We started to enter the gap of 2 cliffs. Eve in the underworld bears a resemblance to when you enter a cemetery alone at night. From the top of the cliffs small pebbles fall as if someone is walking on the cliff.

"Hmm, Cerberus can't even wait to pick you up." Charon looked up.

"Maintenance of Hades yes." I said make sure.

"I'm sure he'll like you." Charon said to look at me. Charon then pulled over this super-large ark to dock. There is a small port on the right side of the river.

"Your stop, OVERLORD. Please come down." Charon told me to come down from his Bahtera.

I nodded and jumped from the ark to the port.

"You're not going to kill me?" Ask Charon.

"I will consider it after successfully decapitating Hades. You are also not part of the regime of the Olympian gods. Killing you is not a concern for me anyway." I said walking away from the harbor dock and suddenly from the top of the Cerberus cliff landed right in front of me.

The body is quite large and tall. At nearly 8 meters high, each head of Cerberus was almost as big as a truck. The tail of Cerberus is an uncomfortable hissing snake. Chief Cerberus reminds me of a very fierce police dog, the Doberman Pinscher.

In the body of Cerberus there are 3 iron rods stuck in their necks and each end is tied and put together a rusty black chain

Cerberus walked around me as if I were a small prey that he could eat at any time. Cerberus circled me 4 times.

"Introduction huh?" I asked as I stretched out my clear hand that Cerberus was unlikely to respond to. Cerberus turned around me with a growl. Their saliva is even different. On the right head drooled in the form of hot magma, on the middle head of sand dust, and on the left head in the form of dew and snow.

"You think Mr. Hades would be kind to a mass murderer like you? Even after you killed his brother Poseidon. You're lucky enough I wasn't ordered to chew your little head." The head of Cerberus the middle.

"It turns out you can talk." My chirps.Cerberus' left head growled dislike, even until his sharp teeth were seen.

"Hurry, Mr. Hades is waiting for you in Tartarus." The head of Cerberus said to the left. Cerberus led the way and led me to the place of Tartarus.

As I walked through the forest, I saw the spirits of the dead being tried at the gate by the 3 judges of the underworld: Minos, Rhadamanthis, and Aiakos. These three were the illegitimate children of Zeus. The three of them determine where the dead will be placed, whether it is Elysium, the Field of Asphodel, or Tartarus.

My current condition is the same as Heracles was when he tried to undergo one of the 12 tasks to atone for his sin, which was to bring Cerberus from the underworld. Acquiring the path of acceleration to Tartarus, the place where Hades or Thanatos vent their emotions through the spirits of the dead and make them samsaks.

I was wondering if I would be tried in a place that looked like people queuing up there? And is the dimension of the world of the gods only limited to the scope of ancient Greek mythology?

I also arrived in front of a giant palace that was magnificent and beautiful even though it seemed creepy because in every torch head used in illuminating is made of human heads. Each wall and foundation is made of black marble and is composed of several obsidian stones.

When the middle-aged man wanted to take a sitting position, there appeared a purple light that composed the shape of the throne seat behind the man then the middle-aged man sat down on him.

"Welcome to the underworld, OVERLORD. As the host I welcome you." Said the middle-aged old man.

"Hades." I said with the intention of greeting.

"What is it that's taking me to your house?" I asked to the point.

"Don't you know the answer? To bring out your spirit or soul from your body is here." Answer Hades.

Cerberus then walked up to his master and around his throne, from behind the throne of Hades appeared a beautiful Greek woman in a dark green sleeveless dress, black-haired with a ponytail. The woman stood to the right of the throne of Hades while stroking the middle head of Cerberus.

A black winged figure flew and landed on the left side of the Hades throne. Using a full plate of black armor with a gold-colored line motif, carrying a large sword in the form of a Gladius sword. His head was covered in a black hood so that his face was not visible.

"Hmm, the band of the underworld is complete now. At least before I die let me hear you sing." I said with mocking intent.

Hades then opened 2 portals that suddenly appeared beside Thanatos and beside me.When Hades moved his index finger, the two portals shifted and in an instant we moved.

Suddenly we were in the middle of the arena in a black Colosseum that had been watched by countless Harpies, spirits of the dead, and monsters from the podium. Even some Titans were trying to watch me die.

The air and aura in this arena was much darker than in front of the dark palace earlier. I'm sure this is Tartarus.

"Poseidon made the mistake of not joining his army in the attack. Let's see if it's effective to make sure you're killed or not." Said Hades raising his bident.

Each gate under the podium is open. There arose several parjurit Shades, armored and armed Centaur and Satyr undead warriors who came out from behind the gate.

Hades stood up and mounted Cerberus as his mount, Persephone began to wear her battle mode attire, and Thanatos who had originally stuck his sword to the ground pulled back his sword. They were trying to get me from the beginning.

"Hoo...The kroyokan strategy. Let's see how effective this strategy is." I said with spirit. I took out my Chain Whip Sword again from the inventory.
