Kadipaten Kembang Kuning or also called Kadipaten Kembang Jenar is located in the North region of Java island which has a large coastal area. This area is famous for its fertile rice and palawija which is the staple food of the Panjalu community. Although it does not have a large port like Halong Port in Kalingga, ocean adventurers still have one large berth in this place, namely Tanjung Port.

Since the beginning of the establishment of the Medang Kingdom in East Java, Kadipaten Kembang Kuning is one of the important areas for the Medang Kingdom. Even after the split of the kingdom into two parts, Kembang Kuning Duchy remained an important part of the Panjalu state system to the west in addition to Kalingga and Paguhan.

Under the leadership of Adipati Mpu Pamadi, Kembang Kuning area developed rapidly to be able to rival the Duchy of Kalingga in terms of people's prosperity.

Every year, the Duchy of Yellow Flower always sends earth taxes and tributes as a form of compliance and obedience to the central government in Dahanapura. Especially after the son of Duke Kembang Kuning, Banjarsari was taken by Prabu Samarawijaya by marrying Rara Wulandari, the relationship between Kotaraja Daha and Kembang Kuning is increasingly friendly.

However, after the news of Prince Banjarsari's death at the gallows for committing treasonous acts against the Kingdom of Panjalu, the atmosphere in the palace of Kadipaten Kembang Kuning changed. There was a feeling of anger buried in the chest of Duke Mpu Pamadi because of this event, especially Prince Banjarsari was the eldest son and favorite son of the ruler of the area.

In one corner of Kadipaten Kembang Kuning city, two men in shabby black clothes were seen beating their horse mounts across the highway that divides the city of Kembang Kuning Duchy. The stocky soldier immediately entered the palace Kadipaten Kembang Kuning. He headed straight towards the duke's private room which was to the west of the grand paseban hall.

Adipati Mpu Pamadi was talking with Patih Harjamukti when the gate guard soldier of the Yellow Flower Duchy came.

After worshiping Duke Mpu Pamadi, the guard of the palace gate immediately sat cross-legged on the floor of the duke's private room.

"What are you here without me calling, soldier?", asked Duke Mpu Pamadi after the guard of the palace gate sat down.

"Please forgive a thousand mercies Gusti Duke.

Yes, Suryanata is still a nephew of Duke Mpu Pamadi. Dewi Suryawati, the mother of Suryanata or the Duchess of Rajapura is the older sister of Duke Mpu Pamadi's wife named Dewi Candrawati who comes from Rajapura region. So between Rajapura and Kembang Kuning has a close kinship relationship.

Today is the coronation day of the new king for the kingdom of Panjalu. Everyone rejoices to welcome the existence of a Panjalu king who is known to be capable of ruling, accomplished in the field of action, handsome-looking and kind-hearted pekertinya.

In Keputran Daha, Panji Watugunung is dressed like a king in the help of his seven wives. Today all the wives of Panji Watugunung want to participate in dressing the husband who will soon become the King of Panjalu.

Dewi Anggarawati seems busy tying a belt of cloth embroidered with gold thread. Ayu Galuh appears to pair the fern vine chopping on the right ear of Patugunung Panji, while Dewi Naganingrum wears the left. After dressing up, they walked together to the Great Paseban Hall of the Daha Palace. The courtiers of Daha had gathered there, waiting for the arrival of the new leader in the Kingdom of Panjalu.

There are Rakryan Mapatih Jayakerti, Nayakapraja Mpu Gangga, Mahamantri Mpu Rikmajenar, Queen Mother of Dyah Kirana, Senopati Warigalit, Senopati Tunggul Arga, New Matahun Duke Maitreya, Duke Lasem Balapati, Adipati Seloageng Tejo Sumirat who is the in-law of Watugunung Panji of Dewi Anggarawati, Duke of Anjuk Gunawarman Farm, Regent of Gunungsari Panji Bracelets who is the biological father of Watugunung Panji, The ruler of Lodaya, Prince Arya Liang, who is also the sister-in-law of Panji Watugunung, was also present at the Great Paseban Hall of the Daha Palace. When the Watugunung Panji came, the brahmins and monks immediately pulled over, making room for Sang Yuwaraja Panjalu to sit cross-legged. Followed by Ayu Galuh behind the Watugunung Panji, then Dewi Anggarawati and Dewi Naganingrum. The four Consorts of Panji Watugunung, namely Dewi Srimpi, Ratna Pitaloka, Cempluk Rara Sunti and Sekar Mayang, were behind them.

The atmosphere at Balai Paseban Agung is very solemn.

As soon as the recitation of the divine puja mantra and prayer was completed, Maharesi Mpu Soma immediately stood up. By carrying holy water taken from Lightning and Palah in Seloageng, Mpu Soma circled the entire Hall of Paseban Agung while splashing water with banyan leaves.

After splashing holy water, Mpu Soma returned to circle the Great Paseban Hall while carrying the brazier of the homeland with thick smoke of incense while ringing the occasional bell.

Finished the second step, Mpu Soma again took the holy water and splashed it on the throne of the Daha Palace. The face of Ranja's Hermit leader turned towards Empress Dowager Dyah Kirana who was wearing a white cloth. Two palace ladies carrying trays approached Watugunung Panji.

Slowly Queen Mother Dyah Kirana took the crown of the Kingdom of Panjalu and raised it high.

"Today, by the permission of the Gods and Lord Vishnu who guard every life, I crown you as the Maharaja of Panjalu.

As King you have the title abhiseka Maharaja Jayengrana Wijaya Saptaprabu", said the Queen Mother Dyah Kirana who slowly attached the crown of the Kingdom of Panjalu to the Watugunung Panji.

Two palace ladies directly sprinkled flowers in the direction of Panji Watugunung or Maharaja Jayengrana.

Mpu Soma immediately splashed holy water into the body of Watugunung Panji. While speaking slowly, a smile was etched on Mpu Soma's wrinkled lips.

"Nakmas Prabu Jayengrana,

Now sit on the throne of the kingdom of Panjalu as a sign that you are the rightful ruler of this kingdom" said Mpu Soma while leading Panji Watugunung to the throne of the Daha Palace. After the Watugunung Panji sits on the throne, Ayu Galuh sits to the right of the Watugunung Panji while Dewi Anggarawati and Dewi Naganingrum sit on the left. The concubines sat under the feet of the queens of Prabu Jayengrana.

The series of coronation events of Maharaja Jayengrana was closed with dances performed by dancers from the Daha palace.

Outside the Great Paseban Hall, the people rejoice to celebrate the new king of Panjalu. Various entertainment and food are distributed to all Kotaraja Daha people who come to Kotaraja square. Now the Kingdom of Panjalu has a new leader,

Maharaja Jayengrana.
