Wen Li Part 3 Special

That same night Berto and I immediately drove the car to our first destination, the MonsterHunter Guild, the third-ranked guild in Singapore. Guild Leader MonsterHunter was Long Bai's rival captain. Long Bai and the guild leader MonsterHunter always compete about who is the greatest hunter in Singapore. Their rivalry continued until Captain Long Bai and he each had his own guild, they fought each other over which guild had managed to close down many dungeons each year.

Along the way my heart was uneasy at all considering Long Bai's death. Anger and sadness just hit me. I still can't believe that captain Long Bai will be leaving so soon.

"Honestly, I feel that the guilds that are fighting with BrotherHood guild are not the culprit.."

I turned to Berto after he said that.

"What makes you think that way?" Ask me for wonder.

"Logically, if any one of the men enters, he will be caught..." Berto speculates while holding the wheel.

"So you mean?! Has anyone betrayed?!"

"Maybe.."

Berto's words opened my eyes, why am I so stupid? Why is that not thought of by me? maybe it's true what Berto said that some of us have betrayed? I was blinded by anger and panic which made me unable to think clearly. After all, the reaction from the other members about the death of the captain was like one who did not care, just fear.

"Berto, let's go back!"

"Did?!" He was surprised by my sudden decision.

"Maybe your estimation is correct, some may have betrayed you..So, let's go back quickly"

Berto immediately agreed to what I said, he spontaneously turned his car without regard to cars passing by, because of the action we were showered klason from cars that stopped suddenly because of his actions. At first I felt that we were on a road that should lead to the guild headquarters. But if I look, why is the path Berto took different as usual.

"Where are we going?! Ask me wonder.

Berto did not answer my question and still took the car to a different direction.

"Berto, what do you mean?!" Ask me while rising.

Unexpectedly, Berto immediately laughed out loud after a moment of silence. I don't understand what he's laughing at. But for some reason, I was so upset to hear him laugh like that. He's not like the Berto I know, I feel like he's starting to become someone else after a long time out of the guild.

"Britain...Don't tell me you're.." I began to understand what he was laughing at.

I was surprised after berto brandishing a gun right in front of my face, he brandished his gun like a man who was used to using it while driving.

"Hoi... this is not funny...what kind of gun can still be useful against top hunters like me?" I try to bluff subtly.

"Do you want to try it?" The challenge from Berto made me doubt a little.

"I still don't understand..What do you mean? Aren't we going back to BrotherHood's guild to catch Long Bai's killer?" I tried to extract something from him.

"Why do I have to talk like that.. We should go on and on to the place where I prepared your death perfectly.. You really have changed, Wen Li, you are quick to make a decision, but still stupid..." He said with a smile with the gun still pointed at me.

It was like being struck by lightning hearing Berto speak like that. My heart was spinning very fast because of this situation that was so cornering me.

"What should I do?! Even though I am a great hunter, still if my head is shot by an old model gun, I will still die!' I thought I was looking for a way to get out of that car.

I could only be silent looking at Berto who was still driving this car with a purpose I did not know.

"Am I going to die after the captain? But why would Berto do this?! It's weird.but.."

I began to smile because there was no other choice, even rebellious did not plunge I could win from Berto.

"Just shoot... I'm ready for that.." Challenge me with full submission.

But Berto unexpectedly dropped his gun off my face.

"I can't.." He said after he dropped the gun.

I felt relieved after he dropped his gun but at the same time also wondered, why did he not do it?

"I can't kill you.." Berto said with a slightly soft tone.

Seeing this opportunity, I immediately rebelled and turned the steering wheel towards the left side and caused an accident. The car we were riding hit a tree and caused the mobile hood to emit white smoke. My head got a little dizzy from hitting the dashboard of the car and getting hurt. Likewise Berto, he also hit the wheel and resulted in his temple bleeding.

Without thinking much, I immediately hit him many times in the car and forced him to speak.

"What did you mean?! You intend to kill me?! Did you kill the captain too?!" I was annoyed while looking at him furiously.

Berto, who was initially still weak from the accident, began to wake up and reverse my blow with a very painful reply. He focused his fist force and hit me in the heart. The punch felt like a big godam, I gasped and felt pain and nausea with the punch directed right at that part.

I don't know about the circumstances outside about our accident and the commotion, but right now I'm upset with him. I could only sit up against the inner door looking at him, I was limp and helpless in shock after Berto said that.

"Well... I just want to die..." In my mind at the moment.

"You, though you are strong in strength, are still mentally weak.." He spoke while panting.

"It wasn't me who killed Long Bai" he said.

"Are you tricking me?" I can't believe it this time.

Berto immediately sat down as he was in his car seat, "I'm telling you the truth.."

"Who killed the captain?" Ask me still in a drowning state.

"Either. but you are also in danger of Wen Li, if you follow Long Bai against that person.."

"Ah. Now I understand...." In my mind after hearing Berto speak.

"Well.. If you're still seen siding with Long Bai... But I still can't kill you"

"Hahahahaha..is it not just a formality?"

My question was only answered with a nod by Long Bai. I couldn't stop laughing after learning this newly revealed fact.

"At that time after Long Bai's assassination operation began, I was also assigned to immediately pick you up at the tower and watch you, if you are indifferent to his death.. then you must die"

"Why do I have to die too?"

"Because you're just as dangerous as Long Bai.." Berto turned towards me with a serious look.

"What is the instinct of a clever man?" Ask a little mockingly.

"Well, it's my instinct to survive, I still can't die because there's still so much to do, and please you better follow the orders to stay alive" His request to me.

"Well! I'd rather just die than be Anj*ing that guy... You're not the Berto I used to know, you're just a coward scared of one person" I woke up from my drowning and went back up.

Berto smiled at me, "You know why Long Bai gave you a mission all of a sudden?" Ask Berto.

"Eh?! How do you ta-" asked me what I didn't get to finish with him.

"Wait first?! He can pick me up right after I get the news of the captain's death, that's weird isn't it?" I was a little surprised and looked at him.

He smiled again at me, "Well, we've been spying on your activities from a week ago by sending intruders inside your guild.."

"Invader?! how can?!" Ask me again.

"The intruder is a member of your own that we characterize and we want a good thing in the future"

I laughed like crazy hearing that fact, I didn't expect that there really was a traitor in BrotherHood's guild. Meanwhile, I felt that people were starting to come towards us because the smoke from the mobile did not go away.

"One more question! Is the Captain protecting me?" I stopped my laughter.

"Well, he's protecting you.." Berto smiled at me again.

"Damn it. Why is he so cool..." I looked up while smiling.

"When it comes to premonition, it seems like I can't keep up with it" Berto smiled.

I started to get a little confused by the path I was going to take after this, I felt that captain Long Bai wanted me to stay alive. But on the other hand, I don't want to be an anj*ing of a vile person like that person. It was a difficult choice, the pleasure in me was gone, I was like a man who had no life but was conscious.

But, It seems like the sacrifice of Long Bai's captain should be appreciated by me. If I die, it's the same as letting captain Long Bai die in vain.

"All right, I'll follow your advice.."

Berto smiled after hearing my decision, and we decided to leave the car, then switch to public transportation. Along the way I kept thinking about what I had decided and hopefully it wasn't a wrong decision. But behind it all there is a deep sense of vengeance for that man, for killing the man who meant so much to me.

We went down in the middle of the city and immediately headed to a building that allegedly belonged to the person. As we walked in, we were first detained by two guards in neat suits they were wearing.

"Aren't you carrying a gun?" Ask the guard to me.

"Ah..no" I answered briefly because my carelessness left my two axes in the trunk of Berto's car.

We were also welcome inside and there was a man wearing a suit with sunglasses waiting for us.

"I'm Goro.. Mr. Gozie is waiting for you.." The man in the suit said to us.

We were taken by him to the top floor of the building. We walked in a long hallway at the end of the hallway there was a door that was quite luxurious. After we got to the front door, the person who led us immediately opened the door and we were welcome to enter.

In front of us was already a man wearing a suit with a cigar that he was sucking on. That person had a great aura and when compared to captain Long Bai, maybe he was stronger than him. The man who drove us hurriedly walked up and stood behind the man like a bodyguard.

"Mr Gozie.." Sapa Berto who is beside me.

"Heh?! So he's a guy named Gozie?!" I'm appalled.

That person was still staring at us for a while before opening the conversation.

"So you're the one with Wen Li... If you're still alive, then you chose to be my man, right?" Ask in a slightly slurred manner like a mafia boss.

"Y-yeah, I'll be your subordinate.." Answer me briefly.

In the silence, I felt that the man was looking at Berto. I don't know what they're talking about through eye contact, but it doesn't matter to me right now. Now this is all I'm thinking about is one. How to kill him later.

"Good.. Then you can come out.." His orders to me.

"Eh?" I was astonished because just like that, "Then what's the point of me being brought here?" Keep me in mind.

Berto glanced at me and bearded, I understood his point and immediately came out in wonder.

"Basic om-om ga clear... just like that?! Just wasting my time, but.." I complained in my heart as I walked away from the room.

But when I was just a few steps out of the room, I felt like I heard a muted shot. But I was just thinking positively, maybe it was just my reflection and I continued my steps to leave this building. However, for some reason, after my meeting with that person named Gozie, up to this moment I never met Berto again.

"Maybe he's busy" I thought before starting this new Raid.
