Zia found a change in Zio's face that seemed to dislike his decision. Zia never forbade Zio from doing anything.
“Cannot,” firmly Zio.
“I didn't ask your permission, I'll leave now may or may not. There's no reason you're banning me, don't you say we're friends?” sergeant Zia.
Zio let out a loud breath. “Yes, we're good friends. But what if my parents find out? What if the news of your closeness and Mada is known by the office child and finally heard by my parents' ears? You didn't think you'd get there?”
“How about you holding a woman's hand this morning at the office? At least Mada and I didn't walk together in the office, and we were just friends. While you? I'm tired of you always arranging, while you move as you please and I never forbid you this. I never asked where you were going, with whom. I never had the right to it, but you always act the other way around,” Zia replied. He could not stand Zio's behavior anymore.
Zio did not immediately reply, he began to feel that what Zia said was indeed true. Lately Zio issued a lot of rules that make no sense to his good friend. Though the deal in the beginning they are free to do anything while not bothering each other.
“I've never been anywhere since marrying you. I just work and go home. These two places bore me. You won't feel that. Whenever I try to get close to someone, you forbid me on the grounds of your parents. But you yourself never thought of that, ‘kan?” continued Zia.
“Okay, I'm sorry. But you can't go with him. I don't want you to go,” Zio.
“Back to my words at the beginning, I want to go and I am not asking for your permission,” Zia said.
The woman continued her steps, but suddenly her hand was pulled by Zio to the point of Zia turning around as well.
“Come go with me,” he said.
Zia was surprised, she rounded her eyes in disbelief.
“I will accompany you for a walk tonight because tonight maybe Mama will call, so you should be by my side. It's not funny if I tell him later that you're going with another guy, ‘ right? So it's better that I accompany,” break up Zio.
Hearing that explanation Zia turned annoyed. The man is only concerned with himself. Zia removed her grasp from Zio's hand firmly. “No need, just tell Mama I'm asleep. Let me go out with Mada instead of with you but be forced.
Zia moved her legs quickly. Zio could not bear to see that woman who was always trying to get through it. “Zia!” call Zio.
Zia ignored the call, she walked faster and left the house. Zia ran small towards the stop which was not far from the housing. His feet were wrapped in rubber shoes, slenderly towards his meeting place with Mada. He hoped that Zio would go back to sleep as usual.
Arriving at the stop, Mada's car was parked there. Zia came straight closer, and entered later. “Sorry if you wait a long time,” said Zia while closing the door again.
Mada smiles. “No, coke. Now we go to the square, yes.”
Mada immediately moved his car at medium speed. Along the way they chat a lot from starting Zia's work, Zia's beginning to become a chef, even to tell about Mada's work and how he became friends with Zio afterwards. The man did bring warmth and easily melted the frozen atmosphere. When with Mada, there are no terms of silence because there are always topics discussed.
“Ah, I want to ride a windmill,” said Zia with passion. Understandably, only this time he had come in a place like this. So, Zia was extremely happy beyond measure.
“Againan course, because if this clock is usually used by many children. How about we eat ice cream first? I know a good ice cream place,” Mada said.
“Bby,” replied Zia enthusiastically.
The two humans began to join the crowd and walk among the crowd looking for an ice cream shop that Mada thought was delicious. Maybe Mada had been here before, so the man knew the good hawker places. Zia only followed Mada's steps because she knew nothing about this place.
Soon Mada pulled Zia's hand towards the pink shop that had been visited by quite a number of people. But fortunately there were still empty seats left, so Zia sat there while Mada ordered ice cream to the seller. Zia's eyes are not once distracted from the crowd in front, various genres of music revolve in this one place. The woman really enjoyed it. Soon Mada came with two bowls of ice cream, and the two began to enjoy ice cream with each other.
“You've been here before?” ask Zia.
Mada nodded. “Iya, escort my nephew. That's why I know,” Mada replied.
“Ah. It must be really exciting, yes, the same road as a child.” Zia laughed a little.
So far everything has gone smoothly, Zia increasingly knows Mada's good attitude and attention. Sure enough that Mada is the type of person who is highly sought after in tongkrongan. Easy to get along with and very friendly to anyone. If Zia had known a figure like Mada before marrying Zio, maybe Zia could have fallen in love with that man.
“Come, if you want to ride a bianglala,” invite Mada while standing.
“Come!” Zia stood up.
They then walked side by side at first, but as the night became more crowded and difficult to walk, Zia finally relented to walk behind by holding Mada's hand that walked in front. But when she was about to turn to the ticket seller, Zia felt someone pull her hand firmly until Mada's hand was released easily. Zia and Mada's reflexes stopped and looked back together. He saw the glasses guy who was staring at Mada as well as Zia with a sharp look.
“Zio, are you here too?” Mada surprised.
Zia looked at her husband with a look of disbelief. Why did that man come here.
“Come home,” take her.
“Zio, but he still wants to be here. I know you're his friend, but—”
“But she's my wife. So I have to take her home!” zio resolute.
