Episode 10: The first warmth.

Some time later,

The night finally arrived, Alice who was lulled with all the warmth and comfort she first received fell asleep like a baby.

She smiled in her sleep, though there were still tears on her cheeks that indicated she was crying happily for everything she got after this marriage.

"Drap ... drap .. drap!"

Alice's sensitive hearing caught the sound of footsteps around her, although she was still sleeping she immediately opened her eyes and immediately woke up.

He got up and sat down, just now he felt a little frightened from suddenly hearing the sound of those footsteps.

But as he looked before him, he was immediately relieved, because the ones before him were some servants entering his private room.

Alice smiled gently, she looked at the faces of the women before her one by one.

Although she could see that something was wrong, as their auras were a little tense, Alice did not care.

He who was innocent and stupid, as if he wanted more, he wanted to make friends.

Alice's heart was racing, she was excited, for the first time anyone asked her this.

Like people who want to be friends with others, they must ask for names first.

"Lick!"

Alice swallowed her saliva, the carefree smile on her face was no longer hidden.

"Do they want to be my friends?"

"But if I tell my name Alice will they immediately get scared and leave? how'this?"

Alice asked in her heart, puzzled for a moment but she remembered that she had a first name.

"Na ... My name is Adriella, just call Ella," still cheerfully and smiling, Alice looked happily at the servants, regardless of the bad heart that actually can be seen by Alice from the beginning.

"Hmmm, it seems like he's a fool, he smiles like an idiot, it's good, this way I can make him suffer even more and that way he can immediately leave the mansion of Lord Adam!" the servant growled who was the mastermind of the baseless gossip, only to get rid of Alice.

"Ella, we have orders from Mr. Adam, he said you have to clean up the entire contents of the mansion, the garden, and the back of the mansion including the swimming pool ...." he gave a far-fetched and exaggerated order.

He thought that if he ordered it, it would make Alice shrink and start thinking about leaving, but when he had not finished saying his words, he could look at Alice enthusiastically while nodding as if agreeing with the unreasonable work.

"Is this girl really an idiot? why does he look happy, this mansion is so big, dozens of servants alone will definitely not be able to do it, let alone he is alone!" he muttered but immediately shook his head and ignored the oddity that Alice showed.

"Your work starts from tonight" he said, ending his speech.

Alice immediately nodded, she immediately got up and stood up, although her legs were still sore and bandaged she did not care about it at all.

"Is it true that Sir Adam gave me orders? did Mr Adam really tell you to tell me that?" with sparkling eyes and a hopeful face.

All the servants who came to prank Alice were made to stupefied and shocked by what this beautiful woman had said.

"Be .. right, do you think we're lying!" the waiter was a little nervous.

Alice immediately shook her head, she smiled cheerfully and unconsciously she shed tears.

"I will certainly do my job very well, I will do it very seriously, whatever I will do, if I do everything well Mr. Adam will be proud of me, I'm sure I'll be of some use to him and maybe he'll want to see me,"

That hope grew in his heart, he was so happy to accept that senseless job of wanting to make Adam proud of him, he wanted to be useful to the man who saved his life from the darkness.

That very night Alice got up and began to do her work that actually did not make sense if done alone.

But he did not give up, he picked up the equipment and started cleaning slowly.

On the other side of Gordon Brown's house,

"YESHAAHHHH!" Rose shouted, she had returned home a moment ago, and she had just returned from Alice's confinement with a gasping breath and a face red with anger.

Rose stepped out loud to her father's room.

"What's wrong? why are you yelling at night like this!" ketus Gordon was reading some of his work files in his private room.

"Where's Alice? why isn't he in his cage!" Rose shouted, she was very upset, she had wanted to spill her anger by torture as she had done all this time to Alice.

Today he was very upset, and he wanted to vent it to Alice, but when he came back there was no Alice.

"Huhhhh!" Gordon breathed deeply.

"Don't ask about her again, forget all about her! and you better get back in your room, I'm busy!" ketus Gordon who looks not in a good mood.

A lot has happened to him in recent days.

Hearing that Rose was silent, she did not want to disturb her father if his father was in a bad mood, maybe later he got angry.

"Curtain! where the hell is he? my toy!"

"If there isn't him, just who can I vent my anger!"

Rose growled, she stepped annoyedly towards her room.

Rose who used to live a spoiled and theatrical life every day actually had a terrible temperament, and to hide it all, she always tortured Alice as a tool to spill her frustration.

Because only Alice would not fight back and would not complain if she were to be treated like that.
