Chapter 73

Liam is still very sad. He blames himself for what happened to his father. His intention to ask for his right turned out to actually deliver his papa died. Of course it's a heavy blow for him.

While he was in his mind, suddenly the sound of Liam's cell phone rang. I think it was Leo. Liam immediately picked up the phone.

“Where are you?” ask Leo without further ado.

“In apartment.”

“Which apartment?”

“Apartment courtesy of Love.”

Leo immediately turned off the phone.

Hearing the phone connection stop makes Liam look at the screen of his phone. Make sure Leo turns off the phone.

Half an hour passed, the sound of the bell was heard. Liam was sure it was Leo. So he opened the door immediately. Justright. It was Leo. 

“Come.” Liam invites Leo to come in.

Leo went straight in. He just found out if the one who rented Loveta's apartment was Liam. There are many things Loveta has not told me. However, Leo did not want to bother with all that.

Leo sat on the sofa in the living room. Faced with Liam who was also sitting. This time seeing Liam, Leo was not carried away by anger. Especially after reading the letter. He felt he had to make peace with the situation. Because as the father said. Liam owns the restaurant.

Seeing Leo who did not hit like yesterday made Liam grateful. At the very least, his half-sister was more restraining from hitting him.

Not wasting any time, Leo took out the envelope that the lawyer gave him yesterday. Then put it on the table.

“This from papa.” Leo gave the envelope containing the letter to Liam. “Papa gave this letter to the lawyer and just given it yesterday to us. The lawyer said this is for you. So I'm here to give it.” Leo explained his arrival.

Seeing the letter on the table made Liam feel sad. There was a letter that his father had written for him. It means that his father still remembers him in his last moments.

“I just came for it. Then I'll excuse.” Leo stood back up. Don't wanna linger with Liam. Once he had made peace with the circumstances, still he could not linger with Liam.

“Wait.” Liam called Leo.

Leo's steps stopped. He looked towards Liam.

“Do you sleep with other women?” Liam is still curious about what happened between Leo and Loveta.

“If you think I betrayed Lolo, you're wrong. Because I love her. All of this happened because of a mistake. But, I won't force Lolo to stay with me.” Leo explained a little of what happened. Whether Liam believes it or not is none of his business. “If he comes to you, you will know what you have to do. Take care of him.” She knows that Liam loves Lovea very much. So giving up Loveta for Liam is the right choice.

Leo continued his steps. He knew what happened to him was his fault. The proverb has fallen, hit the stairs, may be very fitting for Leo. Because when he lost the restaurant, he actually made the mistake of hurting Loveta. And now even worse, his father died. It's as if Leo's suffering is complete.

Liam could only look at Leo who was slowly leaving. As his half-sister leaves, Liam turns to the letter given by Leo.

Liam grabbed it immediately. Open the letter and read it.

Liam immediately cried. “Why don't you apologize directly to me. I'd love to hug you.” Liam really felt his papa was so evil. Not giving a chance at all to feel the affection of a papa.

As a child, he missed the love of a father. However, he did not get it until his papa died.

“I'll look after the restaurant for papa and mama. I promise.” Liam could only continue crying.
