Abyssal Misery

Slowly, Leo opened his eyes so faintly. His breath was breathless as if it was so heavy and had run out of doing something so heavy. The situation in the place was quite dark, only a few dim spots of light made him feel where he was.

His body was filled with such excruciating pain, even he was difficult to stand in a place that seemed to be filled with an extremely dense death aura.

“Arghh. My arm.” Leo grinned as he felt his left arm ache.it even felt like he was about to break which made him have to narrow his eyes slightly to endure the pain.

His face froze, after he remembered that he had fallen into an abyss. Although previously he had also attempted to rise to the surface to avoid things he did not want.

But who would have thought, even he did not expect that he could resign and choose to fall into this terrible abyss. Don't know, he doesn't know how many times he's clashed with the cliff wall. But for sure, it was quite painful.

Also, he was able to touch the ravine wall which looked very steep and was very difficult to climb. In addition, on his left side is also a cliff that indicates that he is in the most basic abyss.

Illumination, indeed, Leo frowned as he approached the speck, two points of light that slightly dazzled the eyes. However, as Leo approached, he was quite surprised that the light source was from a flower growing at the bottom of the abyss. Flowers are white with a light that lights up, producing the flower like a lamp that shines in the darkness.

“This, the shape is exactly with Lily flower?” The inner Leo as he crouched down, watched the shape of the flower very carefully. Because what he was afraid of the light was gone.

Leo obviously didn't want to. Those two flowers are the only lighting that Leo has in a dark place like the bottom of a ravine like this.

His gaze suddenly faced towards the front, the lily seemed to highlight towards the pile of scattered bones. Leos are startled and almost jump back about what they are observing.

“Bones scattered, am I lucky enough not to be like them? obviously, maybe this is not the time. It's just I don't want to be this fast.” Leo said to himself.

Not only animal bones, Leo can see there are a lot of skulls that indicate that they are human bones. So, maybe a lot of people fall into this abyss.

“Akh I forgot. Maybe this is a little draining mana so much.” Leo's mind is back.

Then, he gazed up, making a hand seal to use one of his techniques. A hand seal, like he was hooking his fingers together until the other fingers formed a wing.

“Shadow Eagle Manipula ...”.

Not yet had he finished chanting a technique, he was troubled by an extremely terrifying dark aura. The aura made him almost flung backwards due to the pressure of the aura being so rough.

A thunderous voice at the same time with a gripping aura was. Making Leo try to hold himself back, his hair suddenly stood up because the voice looked heavy, rough and echoed. Moreover, the conditions that are at the bottom of the ravine and dark, make the situation even more gripping.

A few seconds later, the aura stopped. Leo fell on the ground with a mouthful of blood coming out. Clearly this was the aura of an extremely terrifying power, it was impossible not.

Leo's condition is cornered, with the lighting of the lily, Leo can see creatures filled with bones. More precisely was a Skeleton with a size perhaps three times that of an ordinary human body.

Leo was astonished, looking at the skeleton figure carrying a bone sword that was about the same size as the Skeleton itself. In addition, what amazes Leo is that the Skeleton uses a green ring, like a brightly lit Emerald.

It's obviously terrible, Leo can't see what the level of the Skeleton is. But certainly, the aura released just now proves that the creature in front of him is stronger than Leo. It is much stronger that makes Leo himself gulp roughly.

“I'm sorry, I didn't come for interrupting. I only came because of someone's pursuit and in the end fell from here.”

“Tch, humans are the same! You must have made a thousand excuses so that you could gain the power of the Abyssal lord Misery? Not that easy, even very impossible.” Said the Skeleton raising its sword and extending towards Leo as if preparing to be able to kill Leo at any time.

Skeleton remarks just now, Leo concluded that the bones of the humans who are here may not just fall accidentally. Except on purpose. They seemed to be completely thirsty for power to the point of seeking strength all the way to a terrifying place like this.

However, Leo himself did not know what strength to look for until people plunged into a ravine called ‘Abyssal Misery’ but, after seeing the green-colored ring worn by the Skeleton, he said, it can be concluded that it was the thing that had the power or perhaps a great ancient artifact.

The mind has been corrupted, the greedy have thirsted for its power which has the effect that they cannot get out and are wiped out by the waiting Abyssal Misery.

“I just want to get out, I'm not thirsty for power at all.” Leo said slowly. He could not imagine that the sword held by the Skeleton was pushed and stabbed into his neck.

Skeleton could not be so trusting at all, then what he did was step on the lily in front of him until it became even darker, even the green ring earlier seemed to lose its light. There was no lighting at all that left Leo unable to see anything except to jump backwards as he did not want the sword to stab his body.

“Damn it, I'm really shit.” Leo clucked in annoyance. He couldn't guess where the Skeleton's whereabouts were that made him have to raise his vigilance.

“Bone crumb sound? He's there!”  Leo muttered as he raised his sword vertically to withstand a sudden attack by the skeleton.

“Low-men! I'll send your life all the way to the bottom of hell!”
