The Toying of Destiny

The hunt for Hikari begins. He and six soldiers infiltrate Tsuki's territory to kidnap Tsuki's ruler's son. Hikari doesn't know who or how the target is, but relies on little information provided by the spy unit that oversees Tsuki's troop movements.

The dark night, only a little moonlight was able to break through the thickets of the Forest. Hikari and some of the men who were hiding in the bush, waited for Tsuki's patrol unit containing two of her mission targets to cross.

While hiding his body well, Hikari looked forward to every move of the enemy. Until the target he had been looking for finally appeared. There were 12 people in Tsuki's patrol unit, and among them were two prominent black-veiled children. Judging from the behavior of the soldiers who were so respectful to the children, Hikari was sure they were the target he had been targeting

Hikari glanced at the men behind her, with a few hand movements he gave the order for his men to spread out and take the premeditated position. Tsuki's army was besieged, although Hoshi's forces were smaller, they were still Hoshi's elite soldiers.

Target's been surrounded. Hikari also activated the gyoku in her hand, a blue magic was created. An explosive-powered lump of iron dust formed, with Hikari's will sending the iron dust towards the target in front of him

One of the kids realized there was something strange about the surrounding environment. Emerlad's eyes found strange dust adorning the air around him. Somehow he smelled gunpowder in the air. He also approached his sister who was resting with the other Tsuki soldiers

"What's up, brother? "

" Hisui, did you smell anything strange? " haru said to his sister. Hisui only realized the strange, he nodded in agreement towards the brother.

" Everybody dodge! " cried Harui warning the others. But alas, from a distance Hikari had already activated her magic and blasted the iron dust with her magic. Hikari's magic barrier ignited the iron dust that had been mixed with gunpowder and created a huge explosion

Boooooom!

The explosion was inevitable. Almost the entire land was damaged by the trap set by Hikari. Dust filled the place. Hisui managed to dispel the explosion with elements of his land, he created a protective land wall from Gyokunya. But alas, from the protector he created only he and his brother managed to survive

Harui had coughed with the dust created, he looked at the brother who was protecting him. Harui's eyes were perfectly rounded when he saw Hisui's left hand being crushed by a sharp stone and bleeding a lot. His sister was willing to sacrifice her hand to cover him from the sharp rock

"Hiss! Your hand-" Harui Quickly checked the condition of his sister. Severe burns and a sharp stone pierced his sister's hand, Harui immediately drained the healing Kenkou to ease the wound on Hisui's hand

Dust mixed with smoke the rest of the explosion still piled up filled the place. Samar, Harui saw a silhouette of a shadow appear from within the puff of dust. He immediately took out a handkerchief with sakura embroidery from his pocket. He wrapped around Hisui's arm to stop the blood from coming out while whispering softly

"Hiss! Hurry up you get out of here. I think the one who attacked us was Hoshi's party who infiltrated. You should immediately report it to the headquarters and ask for reinforcements! ".

Harui hastily tied a handkerchief on his sister's arm. He could feel someone of great power heading towards him. Whoever it is they must be after him and his sister. For that he must save Hisui first by telling him to leave here immediately.

"Then what about you? You can't fight the enemy alone! "

" If we both stay here, we'll all die! Hisui you believe me, right?! One of us has to go. You should report to headquarters immediately. Let me buy some time here! "

Hisui was still hesitant to leave his older sister alone to face the enemy forces. However, the wounds on his body did not allow him to fight. It could be that he will become a burden on his brother if he continues to force to stay. Hisui looked around, the location of Tsuki's headquarters was not far from here. " Okay, brother! Hold on a little more! I'll come with reinforcements! " hisui said. It also began to disappear in the middle of darkness. Harui watched his younger brother move away, he thought Hisui was safe now.

Harui also reached for his sword and prepared to welcome the enemy who had been playing with him since.

" Get out of your hiding places! " summed slowly. He glanced around, the dust from the explosion had started to fall away.

The moonlight now shone brightly, revealing an entire area of forest that had been destroyed due to the devastating effects of the explosion. Surprisingly, Harui did not find the figure he had seen earlier. He also spread his gaze to all directions.

"Left? Right? Up top? " he did not find the presence of the enemy. Harui no longer even felt the magic aura that the enemy had unleashed. Where is he hiding? Harui's eyes are rounded. A point he had not checked

An iron spear was wielding right below him. Fortunately, Harui quickly realized and was able to jump dodge. However, he again felt someone preparing to attack him from behind

Two swords clashed. Harui tried to resist the sword attack that almost hit his body. His Emerlad eyes were now staring at the ocean-blue eyes of the veiled man before him. They both cover their faces. It was almost impossible to know who the opponent who attacked him was. But for sure, the boy was from Hoshi seen from the scarf with a star on his arm

Harui bounced back. Hikari did not want to throw into this border, he also drove to launch his attack towards Harui. Two swords clashed again, two swordsmen were fighting under the moon's golden rays.

Hikari realized something in the middle of that fight. Why is the opponent's movement when swinging a sword without being so familiar? Hikari activates his gyok, he tries to snare the opponent's legs with his iron shir dust element

Amidst their fierce fight, the opponent finally got into his trap. Hikari also managed to snare Harui's leg

He also pointed his sword at Harui's face, intending to scratch the veil rope that covered half of the opponent's face.

Harui doesn't want to give up. He silently activated the magic in his gyok and concentrated the energy in his body. He easily shattered the iron shackles that were trapping his feet.

The scarf bearing the gold star should only be used by the descendants of the ruler of the land of the star. At their meeting, Harui had already guessed the boy he met from Hoshi. But he got rid of the fact that Hikari was an enemy and sincerely wanted to befriend him. Because Harui thinks Hikari may be a soldier who knows nothing. After their status as part of a hostile State, does not it not rule out the possibility for two people from that State to be friends? But the fact that he is the son of Hozuki makes Harui's views change. Hozuki is the one who brings suffering to his country

Hikari's hand tightened strongly. He also regrets the fate between him and Harui. Harui is the daughter of the enemy and also the target in this mission. But on the other hand, the girl who should have been considered an enemy had actually stolen his heart since the first time they met. While with Harui, Hikari realizes that the cheerful girl is her first love and may just be the last love her heart receives. But looking at the current situation, should he kill his love with his own hands?

Hikari stared fixedly at Harui's face, the girl no longer looked at him warmly like last time. A little disappointed he felt. Emerlad's pretty eyes have changed. This time the girl looked at Hikari with a strong look of hatred.

"Mr Hikari! " six soldiers approached Hikari. One of his men had already managed to catch Harui's sister.

" Hisui! " harui shouted when he realized Hisui had caught the enemy. He looked at Hikari in anger. Seeing his severely injured sister being tied up and dragged by Hikari's men made Harui gripped his sword furiously

" Let go of my sister! " said Harui with a trembling voice. Tears flooded his cheeks, but the sharp gaze he let down towards Hikari

" Are we just gonna take it down, sir? The girl is the first child of leader Tsuki, while her youngest child is already within our grasp. We must finish this task immediately before Tsuki's reinforcements come! " said one of the soldiers in front of Hikari

Hikari looked doubtful, she glanced at Harui's sister at a glance. He recalled Harui saying that his sister was the only reason to survive the war

In the midst of Hikari's doubts, Harui finally walked up to her. In the presence of Hoshi's soldiers as well as in the presence of Hikari, Harui finally knelt down and begged to fix the younger brother

"I beg. Free my sister, and accept me instead! " eyes as beautiful as gemstones stared fixedly at Hikari. Harui was truly begging for the payment of his own life

Without waiting for Hikari's approval, the Hoshi warriors finally captured Harui who had just surrendered. Hikari's hands clenched firmly. In this situation, what should he do?

" But captain! The mission requires bringing them both! "

" You didn't hear, this girl gave herself up in exchange for her sister's body? I know we're on a mission far from honourable! But, carrying them both was the same as dropping the dignity of Hoshi! " emphasis Hikari. All the soldiers were silent for a moment.

Aware no one obeyed his orders, Hikari finally took Hisui's body with her own hands. He carries Hisui's weak body and frees him from the rope ties that ensnare his body

" Go! " said Hikari to Hisui. The red-haired boy just stared intently at him. Hikari realized, Hisui would not budge at all until his brother survived

" I'm going to free your brother, but it takes a little time. You can't trust me, but I have to trust your brother. Believe me, he will be safe and well! " whispered Hikari slowly.

Harui saw the sincerity of Hikari's eyes, he glanced at her. Harui just nodded slowly while smiling weakly. He moved his mouth slowly, telling Hikari to get out of here. They finally let Hisui go from there

Hikari ends up just taking Harui as a sandra. They headed for the Hoshi region and headed for the Hoshi Headquarters. On their way, Hikari is busy thinking about how to free Harui. Hikari had a slight dilemma, if he released Harui just like that, it was certain that a huge loss would be accepted by his Country.
