"You're a really interesting kid, I love you" Nyx said with her smile widening.

"So what's your choice?", I asked Nyx.

"You have the potential, son, and the potential will be even greater when you are older.There is only misfortune when it becomes an enemy for you", Nyx answered proudly.

I just fell silent.I never thought a creepy creature like Nyx could turn into someone charming.

Nyx just smiled happily, unlike me who misbehaved when seeing Nyx.

"Robert, what's going on inside?" ask someone from outside the room.

I immediately jumped from behind the chair towards the door.Mom should not know anything about Nyx.

"Robert? The gerald? What the hell is going on in there? I heard a noise in your room" she asked, knocking on the door.

"What are you doing Gerald?" mother asked as I prevented her from entering the room.

I can't stop it anymore.Now I resigned while closing my eyes.

"Geez Gerald! Why is this place so messy? " say Mother.

"Are you sleeping while you walk, son?" ask my mother who just stayed in front of the door.

"Eh, yes, ma'am" I answered, of course, lying to my mother.

I was stunned to hear Nyx's advice.Maybe the real figure is creepy, but her heart is quite soft.

"You're right" I replied.

The words of Nyx have changed my view of the words spoken by the great spirits.
