EPS. 96. Still not giving up.

After passing dusk on the beach, Arthur and Sierra decided to return to the hotel because the weather had suddenly become so cold and it was raining.

" We'll just have dinner at the hotel?" Said Arthur.

" Okay" Sierra said.

Soon they arrived at the entrance of the resort. Arthur parked his car, and got off using an umbrella. They arrived at their room which turned out to be neat. Arthur went into the bathroom, then heated up the water.

" Dear, take a shower, I've warmed the water." Said Arthur.

" Emm.." Said Sierra, then went to the bathroom.

Arthur contacted the resort to order dinner, and was escorted to their room. Arthur looks at the photo with Sierra and smiles.

" Beautiful." Arthur's Mumbling.

In Jakarta.

Daniel was in the courtyard of the Sahara and Cornelius. He desperately wanted to meet Sierra, at least he wanted to ensure the condition of Sierra first.

" Mister Daniel, Sierra won't see you again. Why you are so hard to tell. After all, which father forces his son to marry a man he doesn't even know, you're right.. " Say Cornelius.

" Mister Cornelius, do you know that hiding people or separating fathers from children is criminal? If you don't want me to report you then you better let me find Sierra." Said Daniel.

" Sierra is married to Arthur, so Sierra belongs to Arthur. Arthur is more entitled to his wife's safety." Cornelius. And that surprised Daniel.

" Ap-what? You're kidding, aren't you, Mr Cornelius?" Said Daniel.

" I'm serious Mr. Daniel. Arthur married Sierra last night. When Sierra's healed, just had a wedding reception." Cornelius.

" How can you force my daughter to get married!! You married Arthur and Sierra without my presence as Sierra's father?!!" Daniel said emotion.

" You are indeed Sierra's biological father, but you are by no means worthy of being his guardian." Cornelius.

" BUT I'M HIS FATHER!!" Shouts Daniel emotion.

" Sir, please keep your word." The words of Malvin who protected Cornelius.

" Go Mr. Daniel, you already have no right to take Sierra from us." Cornelius.

" Mister Daniel, can't you let Sierra choose his own way of life. She's happy with Arthur, are you going to ruin Sierra's happiness by forcing her to marry a man she doesn't love at all?" Cornelius.

" Why don't you ever wake up and see reality? The promise of arranged marriage is just a greeting between two women who have not seen their children grow up. I'm sure Madam Sophia's shower is also happy at the moment, seeing her daughter living happily with the man she loves." Cornelius said again.

" All parents put their children's happiness first, but you prioritize the promise of your wife who even died. And that promise was made when Sierra was a baby." Cornelius.

" How dare you speak of my dead wife." Said Daniel.

" The fact is that your wife has died, Mr. Daniel. Wake up and accept the fact, why you always live in the shadow of your wife. I know you may love her, but by doing so you are hurting Sophia's late mistress." Cornelius.

" Don't lecture me, Mr. Cornelius. You won't understand." Daniel said, pointing to Cornelius' face.

" It's up, as a fellow father.. I also once had a daughter whom we loved dearly, she died by tagis. Even though we love our daughter, we let her go. Doesn't that mean God loves him more? Go, Mr. Daniel, Sierra is happy here." Cornelius said, and went away.

Daniel was still standing staring blankly, in his mind right now completely muddled. His Sierra apparently prefers to marry quietly without his knowledge, he does not even see how Sierra faces when married.

" Mister Daniel, go. What Mr. Cornelius said was right, Sierra was happy." Said Malvin, who was upset with this one father.

" Am I being so selfish?" Said Daniel.

Malvin stopped his steps, and turned to look at Daniel, then said..

" You are more than selfish, but very very very selfish. And your stupidity, no longer helped." Malvin said that he left Daniel.

Daniel got into his car, and went from there with a distant mind. He thought, Is he really that cruel and selfish? He drove while thinking about all his actions, so that he did not feel he had reached his residence.

"OH!! UHUK!! " Daniel coughed for no reason, until he beat his tight chest.

" Uncle, have you come? I was just about to go home, thinking uncle wouldn't be home tonight." Vian (Alden) who came out of the house of Daniel.

" Oh, Vian? Since when did you come?" Ask Daniel.

" It wasn't long ago uncle, about an hour ago." Vian ( Alden ).

" Gosh, it's been a long time. Forgive uncle, huh? Uncle just got home from Edward's house." Said Daniel.

" Oh, did uncle finally get to see Sierra? I miss him so much uncle, is he okay?" Tanya Vian (Alden ) is enthusiastic.

Daniel becomes confused himself, if he cancels to Vian that Sierra is married to Arthur, Vian will definitely be sad. But thinking of all the words of Cornelius and Malvin, Daniel had a little look.

" Yes he's fine." That's all Daniel said. He still wants to strengthen his heart.

" Thank God, is uncle okay? Uncle looks like a cough." Vian ( Alden )

" Yes, the weather that keeps falling down makes this old body more easily sick." Said Daniel.

But believe it or not, Vian (Alden) is seen smiling smirk with a sneaky look towards Daniel before he finally shows his worried face.

" Uncle diligently diligently drink herbal tea from my father, my father looks always healthy probably because of drinking that tea." Vian ( Alden ).

" Ah, yeah." Said Daniel.

" I'll go home first, uncle. Suddenly there was a meeting with a co-worker." Vian ( Alden ).

" Oh, yeah. Sorry for making you wait so unclear here. Next time come again." Said Daniel.

" Yes, uncle. Then I'll go first." Vian ( Alden ).

" Yes.." Said Daniel.

' Why do I feel familiar with that back' Inner Daniel, looked at the back of Vian (Alden ) who was away.

Not wanting to take a headache, Daniel also walked into the house while cutting down his chest that was a little tight.

At Edward's residence, Malvin was composing his laptop with his eyes so focused. It's been a long time since Daniel left a few hours ago, he clicked a button and..

" Holly S**t!!! So Sierra's suspicions are correct? Vian is Alden." Malvin.

On the screen Malvin's laptop currently displays a death letter belonging to Vian Muyera and the cause of Vian's death is congenital heart failure from birth.
