THE DEVIL'S LOVER

THE DEVIL'S LOVER
Part 12's. Strong Girls

POV Author

Mistress Maria was worried after talking to Carla. What if as Carla says if later if David does not want to marry because of his hatred for his mother.

"My husband, what if what Carla is right? How can we have a grandson if he plans so. He has often denied all our advice. We've done a lot of things from matchmaking, asking who her boyfriend is, and no one has managed to convince her to get married."

"Maybe he'll be at the saturation point later. He had just broken up, and somehow he handed over his credit card, meaning he didn't want to spend on women anymore. Maybe he wants to change. We have to wait I think, let's talk to him later. He said he's going to Miami later this month, right."

Madam Maria sighed.

"I may be selfish never having a baby. Even though we had David in our care, but we never had a baby to carry. I'm 62, am I gonna hold baby Juan. Maybe I'm asking God too much."

"You're young, baby, you'll be granted later. You'll live 100 years..."

"You can cheer me up the most Juan. You should have talked to David again, maybe I'm not his mother so he didn't hear me, but maybe if you were heart-to-heart he'd listen."

"I'll try okay. You calm down, it won't be that bad." Mr. Juan Ignazio tried to calm his wife, in fact he had spoken to her from heart to heart. Her parents' marriage ended badly but that doesn't mean she'll end up that way. He had said that many times to David.

Maria tried to calm down, but in her heart she knew she was very worried. It seemed like what he said, maybe he didn't have enough time to see his granddaughter grow up.

While David is back in NYC again, he has a meeting with the hotel owner they bought. Only this time he was tandem with Carla and he could see Carla really had the appropriate position. He did not know which shareholders he was close to but he began to acknowledge the girl's professionalism and intelligence. It is not wrong to be appointed as Finance Director at such a young age.

He became curious about what the girl said if it was true that he was financing his sisters and his mother, if yes it must be great. He was a tough person compared to his mother who left him in the care of his Grandmother, finally adopted by his Uncle in order to marry a rich man.

He never forgave his mother for that. Although his mother several times years later wanted to meet him and take him to live with him, all the events of his childhood were so imprinted in his memory that he was unable to forgive him until now.

In fact he was tired of bearing this hatred, until every relationship with women ran aground because he remembered those women like his mother, he said, all saw he was an heiress who would inherit the hotel chain and the established business of his adoptive parents.

"Sir, your expenses in Dominica have been transferred back to your account. Miss Carla has agreed to everything." Janette told me as she delivered some documents to David.

"Yes I'm with Miss Carla from LA Sir."

"Is it true that she's paying for her sisters." Jannette wondered why David was asking about Carla's family but she answered anyway.

"Oh right, his life is hard. He worked hard for his salary increase at the beginning, I entered shortly after him. So I know he always does his best. It's rare that the Director is 33 years old, but Carla deserves it, you'll know after working with her."

Janette thought this man still considered Carla to be a Director because she was close to one of the shareholders. Janette also knew the shareholder in question was Juan Ignazio.

"He's great it seems."

"Of course, financing 3 sisters and 1 mother is not a joke. His sister is lucky to have a sister like her." Janette added excitedly and began to think David Montgomery might be interested in Carla. "And Carla since I've known him has always given 100%, maybe 200% to his job, which is why he was able to take the position of Director at such a young age. Her brain is watered and the past director does admit that she's brilliant."

"Ohhh brother who finances 3 sisters. That was incredible. Thank you Janette. Well like you said he was brilliant, no doubt." David agreed to it now.

That girl was great.

He was unlike any other girl he met who saw him as a rich man to be pursued. He himself had a lot to do for the family and it was done with his own hands not by chasing a rich man like his mother.

But Carla hated him with all her heart. The witch thought he was the man she should avoid. He knew his behavior was minus. Carla was right she surrounded herself with girls like that. He only saw their beauty.

Now that he knows tough girls like Carla the witch is definitely not the only one out there. Only then could he see a girl differently.

Pride in yourself and not afraid to face the rigors of life.

Carla Winston's. David admits she's not the girl he used to meet. The girl has a determined and loving family.
