Chapter 17: Meeting Blast

A year has passed since I reincarnated into this world.

Come to think of it, a lot has happened. I managed to defeat many heroes, destroy many buildings, and befriend Black Sperm and Nyan.

I was also friends with one of the Heroes and the strong one at that.

And our bond is deepening day by day!

And lastly, I felt like I was losing my humanity day by day.

My memories from when I was a human become blurred every month.

Seeing Heroes and people getting killed started to be something that doesn't bother me anymore.

'Can I... still call myself human?' I kept staring repeatedly.

But still, I can't find the answer to this day.

My figure looks dazed on the roof of the building in L City. Seeing the giant purple centipede smashing the building with its giant body.

Evacuation warnings have been issued to the public. They could not stop their panic and began to look for shelter nearby.

POV 3rd

"SIR! Evacuation warnings have been issued to people in L City, sir" the bespectacled man reported.

"Good, now tell me the situation" Sitch said as he wiped his sweat.

"Giant monsters found rampaging in L City, sir. Its appearance resembles a centipede. Judging from the color of the purple, we decided to call it a giant purple centipede. The destruction it caused might classify it as a dragon-level threat, "The glasses guy explained.

"Dragon, yes. Are there any powerful heroes available?" ask Sitch.

"Each S-class hero carries out his own mission, so we currently have no S-class Heroes available" the glasses guy said with a pale face.

"DAMNIT!" Sitch started to panic and hit the table.

'Do we have to rely on Class A?' thought Sitch.

A moment after that, only silence came out of the room.

The silence was suddenly broken by the voice of the glasses woman.

"Master, there's a call" he said.

"Call?" ask Sitch.

"From Blast, sir," he said with a smile.

The room suddenly lit up with a relieved expression from the operator and the commander himself.

"Blast, glad you called! We need someone to deal with the giant monsters rampaging in L City right now. The other S-class heroes are on their respective missions right now, so they can't leave" Sitch said as he wiped the sweat off his face.

"Ah, this giant centipede? yeah, I'm looking at it right now. It's big enough but it doesn't matter"

"Then I leave it to you" Sitch said with a smile.

"Yes, leave it to me" Blast said as she ended the call.

CITY L

POV 1st

I continued to look at the raging giant purple centipede monster while questioning my whereabouts. Suddenly...

*BANG!*

I saw a giant centipede exposed to a burst of pressure coming from below. And another from his left.

The giant centipede immediately turned to the ground to escape but was blown up again due to the pressure.

He was pushed off the ground and thrown into the sky. He was hit again and again, until he fell to the ground. The weight of his body sent debris into the air, eventually settling back in his body.

Once the smoke leaves the area, centipedes can no longer be found.

"..." - ".I was shocked by what had just happened before my eyes.

Then I remembered something.

"Isn't this!" I immediately flew to that place using my psychic powers.

I fell to the ground some distance away from the place and I started walking towards him.

A moment later, I saw a tall man with a muscular body. Pointed gray hair and a thin beard.

He wore a large armor with large shoulder pads, a large robe, and his name emblem on his chest and the back of his shoes. His gloves had a circle on the back of his fist.

he suddenly noticed my presence and immediately looked at me with a wary look.

'As I thought'

"Finally we meet... Blast.." I said as I walked slowly towards him.

"Who... Are you..." He said frowning.

I grinned wide.
