Listening to his explanation, Murong Xue fell silent, Murong Ye was only an hour older than him, and she was only a fourteen-year-old child, he said, it was difficult for him to take on the role of a parent as well as being a matchmaker.

Murong Xue used her great strength and kicked one of the attackers, and she spread her arms, stood in front of Gu Haoyu and became his human shield. He looked at the three of them coldly, “How dare you come here and commit this crime? Which house are you from?”

The leader of the group stepped forward, replying in a cold tone, "Yes, Miss Murong, we were asked by Master Ye to kill those close to you."

Murong Xue's face darkened instantly, how dare Ye Yichen plant her spies in her home complex, and blatantly appear in this way to attack people, how arrogant! Guess this is what will happen to all the men who approach her…

The reason why he did not want to be Gu Haoyu's friend was not because of his fear towards Ye Yichen, it was because he did not like her as a person. His hatred with Ye Yichen could be resolved amongst themselves, there was no need to burden the others.

The sound of footsteps rang out behind the main door, with this, he knew that his men had sent Gu Haoyu, even after a long distance, he could still feel a sharp glare towards him, he could still feel a sharp glare towards him, he sighed thinking about this.
