"What the hell, Auntie? It's my business, don't involve Daffin." Kinanti held the shakes in her voice. He didn't want to look scared, even though that was the reality.
Daffin doesn't know anything about this debt. And Kinanti was not ready to discuss it. Because in his mind, any man will run away if he hears the debt that is being borne by his prospective life partner. Who would be rewarded with such a large debt burden by his own partner? Married people generally want to be happy, not to be added to the burden of debt.
"yeah! Where was your guts? It turned out that fast to shrink." Asri chuckles winning because he has held an ace belonging to Kinanti, which is about his huge debt.
On the sofa there, Herlin also chuckled while lighting a cigarette, then exhaled full of pleasure while watching the drama in front of him. Curiosity seemed to flash in the look of his eyes. He saw the young man who was mounting the body for the Kinanti.
Kinanti turned to Daffin with her eyes dimming.
"Sorry, Daffin. You don't have to get involved in this. You can go now" said Kinanti as she escaped from Daffin's grasp. However, Daffin clasped his hand even tighter.
"What's the problem? Whatever it is, I'm horrified. Don't throw me out as good as your eels like gini dong, Maemunah." Daffin nudged slowly on Kinanti's forehead.
Kinanti looked up, the girl's eyes flickering at Daffin who was now nodding at him, asking him to speak.
"I.." Kinanti swallowed and fell silent.
"I lists to you" whispered Daffin to calm the nervousness of the woman he was protecting.
Kinanti bit her lips, distressed her own doubts.
"A. I have a debt to my aunt, Daffin. A lot," explains Kinanti with a trembling voice holding back the cry.
"How much the hell, Kinan?"
The tongue of the Kinanti klu, can not say that much amount.
"Come on, .. how much?" insist Daffin.
"Sa.. one. billion, Daffin." Kinanti lowered her head, unable to endure her embarrassment to Daffin. But Kinanti quickly raised her head and looked at Daffin in surprise as the man laughed out loud.
"I'm serious, Daffin. I'm not kidding anymore. What you just heard was not a prank" Kinanti said with a look of despair.
"I know, Kinan." Daffin rubbed Kinanti's cheeks which began to be moistened with tears.
"Dih, don't cry dong, Maemunah. Just one billion of these, ." he said on the sidelines of his laughter.
"Cu...just?" Kinanti hiss was arrogant, the sableng man was joking in this situation.
Daffin cleared his throat after finishing his laughter. Then embrace Kinanti's shoulder while returning Asri's gaze with a highlight no less sharp.
"Is this debt legal? It's ..., I smell blackmail here," he said.
Inflamed asri.
"Bad! Don't worry about you, just say that this is blackmail. I'm the Tantenya, where it might be blackmailing my own niece."
Daffin smiled cynically.
"Billing debt with interest that multiplies beyond the bank's interest, without a clear agreement and by force, is that not the blackmail of his name?" resounding.
He had heard many things from Amber about Asri's treatment of Kinanti all this time, even hearing it himself accidentally when he was calling Kinanti first, in the early days of their closeness. And this time Daffin will not let the abusive woman act arbitrarily to Kinanti.
"Whoa. Never mind.., are you willing to pay what not? If you can't, don't talk too much. Quick, leave Kinanti right now! Gembel mah not much style," said Asri while folding both hands in front of the stomach.
"I know you're a loan shark, but look around dong, time behaving like a loan shark is also the same as pounding itself. The loan principal is not up to a billion, right? And Kinanti has long since repayed his debt, time still counted one billion continues? The number must have been reduced a lot." Then Daffin turned to Kiannti and said.
Kinanti nodded confidently, she had a good personal financial bookkeeping all along. He archived every evidence of his transfer.
"God! How could that be?" the Asri protest is unwilling to lose its one billionth wholeness. He hurriedly ran to his room and returned with a folder containing documents of Kinanti's loan records in the past.
"This, look..., the loan of Kinanti is over a billion and the rest is now a billion!" snapped Asri while thrusting it to Daffin.
Daffin's eyes narrowed, the first time Kinanti saw the man looking so serious as he opened and read the papers inside the map. Numbers that make no sense to him.
Then suddenly Daffin chuckled softly as he said.
"The total cost of treatment at Maminya Kinanti hospital is five hundred million and Kinanti tuition costs up to seven hundred million? Sorry, I know how much the cost of college there, will not be so much let alone this the value of the cost a few years ago," he sneered without trying to mock the private campus where Kinanti first studied. But indeed the number is very excessive for private campuses with ordinary accreditation.
"You think during Kinanti's lecture there's no need for fees, food, etc?" ketus Asri did not accept.
"Oh, so this means all the catering costs and also the cost rates of Kinanti during her stay here?" Then Daffin broke down.
"By the way dong.." The lead is getting lost respect to Asri.
"OK-okay, let's go. Instead of making me dizzy, I'll pay a billion as you want. But, on condition that you never disturb Kinanti's personal life again from today. How's it?"
Asri laughed cynically.
"You can pay what not? Don't bullshit much!" his lips.
Daffin took out a pen and also a check from his slingbag, then wrote something down and signed it.
"Here, a billion checks. Follow the conditions yes or no?" his challenge while showing the check to the front of Asri's face. Asri. His hand trembled when he received a piece of paper in the form of a check with a nominal number of one billion from the hand of Daffin.
"K.... you...? Not a con, right? Is this a real check?" he said so nervous. Then he observed Daffin closely. The man in front of him was so young, how could he have this much money?
"Be aware that if you trick me, I'll chase you even if you hide in an ant pit!"
Daffin smiled sinisterly and held out a business card.
"That's my lawyer, just call him if you have a problem with me. Sorry, my time is too precious to meet just anyone," he quipped by slightly emphasizing the word just anyone, of course what Daffin meant was Asri.
Asri held onto his chest which was pounded in shock as soon as he read the business card of a famous lawyer in his hand. Now that Asri was aware, she was not dealing with a mediocre youth.
"Kinan, come with me. It's time you got out of this hell." Daffin pulled Kinanti out of her Tantenya house that very second.
Meanwhile on the guest sofa, Herlin was wide-eyed and clapped to see the plot twist of the drama show in front of him
"Well, you've got a billion now. Good thing, your house has finally survived" Herlin stood up from the sofa walking up to Asri, then snatched a check from the greedy woman's hand.
"Herlin, ku.. please! A.. I need that money to get Dion out of prison," lamented Asri unwillingly lost his one billionth. Plus he's also lost Kinanti, where else would he now get an injection of funds?
Herlin chuckles.
"Why did you turn Dion around? If he's innocent, he's gonna win the charge."
Actually for Herlin the one billion was small, but he wanted to teach Asri a lesson that often extorted his money with the lure of the Kinanti. Though it is clear now, Kinanti will never be able to have him because he was with Daffin.
Herlin secretly knows who the young man in front of him was, he is the grandson of Kalandra, a crazy rich whose identity is not widely known, happened to Herlin including a handful of people who know it. And Herlin doesn't want to make a case with the Kalandra family to keep his business safe.
"Herlina! Don't take my money, Herlin. Whoooo!" pekik Asri hysterical.
