The Fake Couple

The Fake Couple
Invitation letter.

Kinanti turned towards her Tantenya house with blinking eyes holding back tears, but what else did she need to cry about? All this time he never had this much courage to get out of there just for fear of living alone. But now he's not alone anymore, is he? There was a Daffin by his side.

"Let's go in, let's go in" persuaded Daffin. The man could understand what was stirring up Kinanti's mind at the moment.

However, in that house lived the only family this girl had. But, what kind of family can squeeze and take away the happiness of its own family members? Even the greedy Tantenya could offer this niece to a flirtatious widower just for money. Even intending to forcibly marry Kinanti to a man more deserving of being her father, again for the sake of money. As if the degree of money is much higher than the value and dignity of a human being, even though humans are the most noble creation of God than any other creature on earth. But often man corrupts the glory within himself by indulging his uncontrollable desires, making him inferior, despicable, and far worse than an animal.

"Come on, what are you waiting for, my one billion girl?" Daffin's words made Kinanti turn her head and the man blinked one eye.

"There are important things that we must take care of immediately after this, which is .. our marriage." And the smile on Daffin's lips strengthened his good looks.

Ikram looked at the invitation letter in his hand with a heart that was bubbled by something he had never imagined. He's a married man, but why is he so heartbroken to know about Kinanti's marriage?

The man sighed and looked at the expanse of a private pool that was as blue as the color of ceramics that covered it. He was tired of swimming a few laps just to let go of the fatigue that was filling his heart because of the invitation to Daffin's wedding with Kinanti. But the little pinch in his heart did not stop, it became more and more when his memory darted quickly to his past with Kinanti who was still in high school uniform.

That day became the first time Ikram and Kinanti walked together after school, since their familiarity began to intertwine. They visited a cultural festival. There are so many snacks, Ikram likes to treat Kinanti who secretly likes to eat. Suddenly Kinanti pulled his hand to invite Ikram to approach the stage that was holding dances and wedding traditional fashion shows from several regions.

"Good yeah, that one." Kinanti tiptoed as she whispered the sentence into the ears of Ikram who was much higher than her.

Ikram smiled and nodded.

"All good Kinanti, depending on who we wear it with" he replied as he licked the ice cream cone in his hand that was about to melt.

"You...?" he offered because he saw that Kinanti had run out. Seeing the girl nod, Ikram held out his intention of giving it his all. However, Kinanti instead licked and bit the tip, then turned her head back towards the stage while clapping with the claps of the other audience.

At that instant, the heart of Ikram rippled strangely. Then he smiled as he licked Kinanti's bite marks while blushing. Since then Ikram realized he had fallen in love with Kinanti. And his brain immediately recorded the fine traditional clothes that Kinanti pointed out earlier while hoping to one day be able to wear them at a real wedding with this girl. But apparently, it was just his empty hope. Because the woman he had to marry turned out to be Amber, a close friend of Kinanti herself.

"Cream, you're here apparently?"

Amber's rebuke made Ikram turn his head nervously.

"I just finished swimming"

"Well, why not take it anyway?" Amber pouted while sitting on the lap of Ikram with her attitude that was always spoiled.

All men must be happy to be loved by a woman as beautiful as Amber, especially this beautiful woman is already legally his wife. But for some reason, Ikram's heart was not really shaken by him. Of course Ikram does not show it blatantly. Amber's spoiled attitude is reciprocated with a warm embrace that also feels pampering for Amber.

Amber smiled widely, revealing her rows of well-groomed white teeth. Then the woman glanced at the table.

"Oh, apparently you've read Daffin's wedding invitation to Kinanti, huh?" whispered while peeping her husband's cheek. Seeing Ikram nod, Amber continued her words.

"Finally, they got married too. I'm relieved to be. They don't have to hang out much longer."

"Collect kebo?"

Amber chuckles.

"They had been living before marriage. After returning from the hospital, Kinanti did not return to her Tantenya house, but to Daffin's apartment. Well, that's not weird anymore, is it today? Uh. Don't you think that Kinanti is completely innocent. Moreover, we have seen for ourselves they bought ******. Why try that, hmm?" cerocos Amber plays her eyebrows up and down.

Ikram bit his inner cheek, storing a wry taste in his heart. Sump. It seems, only he is trapped in sweet memories. Kinanti has moved on with Daffin.

"Want to swim, honey?" whisik Ikram while revealing the bathrobe that covers the beautiful body of his wife.

"Why not?" sighed Amber accompanied by a meaningful gaze.

Ikram also immediately raised his wife's body, then threw themselves together into the pool. But certainly not for actually swimming. For the couple, there are other things that are much more exciting to do in the pool than swimming, the thing that makes both drown full of pleasure.

A man was standing looking out the window. The mountains in front of it are so beautiful, a very beautiful view when noticed from inside a private magnificent villa that is being visited to relax.

His hair and mustache had turned white, his skin had begun to wrinkle, but his jawline was still firm, as firm as his attitude and words had been.

The man was Kalandra, aka Opa Andra, Daffin's grandfather.

"My granddaughter is really getting married?"

"Yes, sir," said the bespectacled man named Reza who wears a neat suit, which is none other than a personal assistant as well as Kalandra's right hand.

Kalandra sucking cigars.

"Is this the girl who made Daffin want to crush Nadia's company? Nadia is like her own sister."

"Rubber, Sir. His name is Kinanti Queensha, we have data on the girl. Do you want me to read it?" sahut the assistant while flickering as the cigar smoke Kalandra exhaled hit his face.

"No need, a little bit I already know about the girl." Kalandra said as she chuckled slowly.

"So, sir blessed the marriage?"

Kalandra turned her head and looked at her assistant fixedly.

"Yes," she was sure.

And a faint smile fell on those old lips.
