In the middle of the dark and messy room, Indira looked at a woman who was sitting in a row while looking at the sunlight that infiltrated through the gap of the mosquito net covered with her blank look.
Indira goes deeper. Enter the room with a brown paper bag containing his homemade bread.
The woman turned towards him with a slight look. "Mbak," called the woman, made Indira smile knots and caressed the top of her hair dearly.
"I'm coming, Helena." Indira crouched down, giving the parcel she had deliberately brought from the store, to Helena.
"This what?" helena asked, even though she knew that the aroma that emerged from inside was her usual bread of joy that Bima bought when she was reluctant to finish her meal.
"Eat. No need to ask what that is. You also know the answer," replied Indira, getting back up and approaching the curtain that was always closed as long as she did not go there.
The srek!
Helena closed her eyes as the sunlight came in fiercely and made her glare.
"You should be exposed to the sun."
"Mama should stay exposed to the sun."
"Because I don't want to get out of the house, the only thing I can do is this!"
Helena cried again when she heard the voice of Indira, looking similar to the words of Bima, her son, who had gone home for the past year with a terrible.
Indira. He saw Helena hugging the picture frame Bima getting tighter and more crying tight.
"That regret won't mean anything, Helena. Your son left because you didn't appreciate it." Indira commented a sad smile. "When parents think only of themselves, we consciously hurt them. Those who–"
"I know, don't go on. I throw it out dozens of times a day. I don't stop slamming stuff in front of him. It made his mind fall too deep. I know I was wrong. I already know. Don't keep going!" yelled Helena, with a loud and poignant voice.
Indira angry. The rant he made for his sister every time he visited. The words that blame Helena for Bima's death, this is Indira's revenge because Helena can not take care of her own family.
"I'm sorry" Helena said, weeping more and more with her eyes filled with regret.
"I lost my husband because of your husband! Now you lost your son to your negligence. Doesn't God seem to reward this treatment fairly?"
Helena fell silent. Her crying voice no longer came out when she watched Indira speak trembling even though she always held back her tears.
"Bima and Indra are gone. Two men whom we each once hated for our own negligence." Indira wiped her tears violently, walked towards Helena with wide steps and pulled the woman's hand until Helena stood up forcefully.
Helena looked at Indira's face which was plastered in front of her face, with both of Helena's shoulders held so firmly by her.
"Hold on to you. Those we hate are gone. We wantit. We've wanted this, right?! Me or you. Ever tried to drive them out in this life. Now they don't exist."
"So live as you want. Protect yourself and those you feel are important! Don't soften even if your happiness has gone with them! The world is still going. The time wheel keeps turning. Our age is growing! There's no time to wait for our wounds to heal, Helena. Be aware! Don't ruin your life like Bima. I can't see death anymore!!" indira screams, wrath and pain.
Helena cried softly. So did Indira who had hugged him tightly.
Both men were crying until they were tired. Until they fell asleep and didn't realize it was dark.
Rey stood in front of Bima's house after several hours waiting for the return of Om Edi, the husband of Aunt Helena who is her mother's sister.
"Your mother's inside?" tanya Om Edi, walked over to Rey after she got out of the car.
Rey nodded slowly and followed Om Edi into the house.
"Om I'd like to ask you. But don't answer if you don't want to answer. Unbelievable" said Rey, as they walked down the long hallway in the park, which would lead them to the main building.
Om Edi turned to Rey with a questioning look. "What?" tanyanya, feeling quite awkward with her own nephew.
"Rey just heard from these people. But is it true, same Auntie wants a divorce in a minute?" tanya Rey, make both Om Edi eyeballs perfectly round.
"Who did you say, Rey? Your daughter has no plans to divorce at all. Where did you hear such news from?!" tanya Om Edi, looks very surprised to hear the question of his nephew.
Rey also immediately felt bad for accusing Om and Tantenya like that. Rey became like his evil nephew.
"Thank God that's not so. Where's Aunt Helena's room?" rey asked, when they were both in the house.
Om Edi pointed to one of the rooms on the second floor, whose door was open but looked very bright today.
"It looks like your mom is here, Rey. It's not usually Helena's room that bright. Looks like your mother opened all the windows in the room and made the sunlight come in. Thankfully, Helena always obeyed her sister's words. But why isn't it like that to her husband?!" murmured Om Edi, at the end of his sentence.
Rey merely commented a wry smile and went towards the room, while Om Edi went into his own room to change clothes.
Rey entered the room and saw two women sleeping on the floor, with furniture strewn everywhere. Even many broken plates were scattered in many places.
Upon entering the room, he immediately remembered Bima who had to witness such a painful scene every day.
"Slowly I began to know why I decided to end my life." Rey looked around the place with a careful look. "Even if I don't want to understand why you do such a stupid thing, but don't want me to be forced to accept reality by time!"
Rey shook her head, immediately dispelling all those bad thoughts and waking up her mother, also moving Aunt Helena to the bed.
"Your mother doesn't realize she's asleep here. You must be nyariin, Mama, right?" indira asked, looking at her eldest son with a guilty look.
Rey smiled gently as she looked at him. "No papa, Ma. Rey even more grateful if Mama often see Aunt. Instead of not seeing Mama at home, Rey still did not want to see Aunt Helena ended up like Bima."
