Chapters 12. Oath and Promise

Decades ago, when the tribe was still alive without the King of all tribes.

The Eagle Tribe Region

Eagle, then 6 years old, was practicing with his father. Eagle as the oldest brother trained by his father, Vereagle. His father hoped his son Eagle grew up and trained as a leader who can take care of the tribe and his younger sister2.

Eagle asked, "shouldn't a kid my age be enjoying bread or playing, father? Why do I have to practice every day?" while playing the wooden sword in his hand.

Vereagle took Eagle, "we've finished today's training" and put his wooden sword on the ground.

"here near, Eagle."

Eagle walked up to Vereagle, "yes, yeah. Why me?"

Vereagle went on to explain, "father made you through this difficult time, so that you may know that the world is cruel, my son. I want you to be a reliable person for your brothers and sisters and a believer in you. Father is not always there to look after you." said as he stroked his son's head, Eagle.

Suddenly the guard came to give him news.

The guards reported, "respectfully, the tribe leader. I informed him that Lioner and his son Helion had arrived at the palace." kneeling down to inform Vereagle.

Vereagle then took his son, "let's go into the palace, Eagle. Father and son are waiting. Hope you guys get along with yourself."

Eagle obeyed his father's words, "well, father."

then the two stepped inside the palace.

Inside the palace, in the dining room, had been sitting Lioner and Helion waiting for Vereagle and Eagle. Then the four of them met.

Lioner said hello to his friend, "long live for you, my friend Vereagle. May the blessings be with you always."

Vereagle then said, "thank you, Lioner. Let's sit down and eat first."

Lioner then introduces her son, "well, friend. Oh yeah, introduce, this is my son Helion. Helion, pay your respects to Uncle Vereagle and Eagle."

Helion then introduced himself, "i am Helion, salute you, leader of the Eagle Tribe." kneeling down as a sign of respect to the Vereagle.

The Vereagle immediately liked Helion, "hahaha. Your son is very polite, Lioner. I'm sure your son will be a wise leader."

Then Helion looked towards Eagle, and at once they stared at each other intently, like a mortal enemy, and it happened without the knowledge of Lioner and Vereagle.

Lioner then said, "oh yes, tomorrow also the Peacock tribe, elephant tribe, bull tribe, and dog tribe will arrive here. They're here to celebrate your birthday the day after tomorrow, Vereagle."

Vereagle responded to the news from Lioner with pleasure, "really? Then I must serve the best wine to our friends. Now let's enjoy this food first, Lioner."

Then they also enjoy the food while talking perfunctory.

Vereagle was sitting with the leader of the bull tribe, peacock tribe, dog tribe, elephant tribe, and Lioner. They sat together in the room telling stories and drinking. Meanwhile, at the back of the palace, also gathered anak2 tribal leaders who will be successors in their respective tribes.

Helion then reminded all his friends, "don't be too arrogant, Eagle. And you, Azuna, that beauty comes from your heart, not the physical. Bullsar and Ephant, don't feel each other's strongest. There's always a sky above the sky."

Eagle ignored the advice from Helion, "don't talk much, Helion. How about we practice the sword? Who loses should kneel apologetically."

Helion accepted the Eagle's invitation, "well. Let's get started."

Eagle then called one of the Eagle Guard Tribe troops, "bring 2 wooden swords. We want to practice the match right now."

The guards obeyed the command, "well, prince." then took out 2 wooden swords and gave them to Helion and Eagle.

Azuna then presented herself, "i'm here as a judge. On the count of 3, you can start. Well yeah, 1, 2, 3, start."

Then came the sound of the rubbing wooden sword made by Helion and Eagle. And before long, the sword Eagle was wearing was thrown and the Helion wooden sword was pointing towards the Eagle's neck.

Helion then explained, "we are young and do not yet know how vast the world is. A lot of people are much better and great than us, Eagle. And forget about betting who loses gets to get down on their knees."

Azuna then announced loudly that Helion was the winner.

Ephant couldn't believe what he saw, "i didn't expect Helion to be gifted with a sword."

Bullsar quipped Ephant who praised Helion, "luck you're not Helion's opponent. I'll make sure you lose 1 move. Hahahaha " then laughed mockingly at Ephant.

Doglor agreed, "Bulssar was right. Helion has a talent that's well trained."

Eagle then invited his friends, "Let's have fun to the waterfall behind the mountain. The journey only takes a short time."

Azuna was immediately enthusiastic and excited, "ayo2. I want to enjoy the waterfall.let's all set out." want to quickly set out to enjoy the waterfall bath.

Then the six of them set out secretly to the location of the waterfall. The journey only takes about 3 hours, and through the edge of the ravine in the forest. And when the six of them were about to arrive,

Doglor then shouted loudly, hoping Eagle could hear his cry, "Eagle, wait for us. We're going downstairs."

The newly arrived Helion immediately asked, "why are you guys? where's Eagle?"

Azuna then explained, "Eagle fell into the abyss and did not know how it was. Let's take a detour, the abyss is hard for us to get through."

Helion then took a quick look at the ravine where Eagle had fallen.

Doglor asked insinuating, "are you going to kill yourself, Helion?"

Helion reassured her friend, "I'm fine. Quickly you guys turn around and we meet downstairs." Helion then holds the roots that spread in a large tree and then slide down.

Azuna, Doglor, Ephant, and Bullsar ran as fast as they could on a safer path.

Under the ravine, Helion saw the condition of Eagle fainted from a fall, and broke his leg. Helion then washed the cloth with the waterfall that was near it, then washed the face and body of Eagle. The eagle began to wake up.

Eagle grimaced in pain, "my leg hurts so much.

why are you here, Helion?"

Helion then said, "I heard a scream. Then Azuna, Doglor, Ephant and Bullsar told me about you. I went straight down using the roots hanging on the tree to come down here. The four of them took a detour and soon will be there."
