Chapters 18. Adventure #2

In the morning, while traveling,

Nial who was astonished by his friend's attitude then asked, "why are you silent, Warphan?"

Warphan, puzzled by Nial's question, asked, "what do you mean, Nial? I don't get it."

Nial then said, "I know that last night, someone was stalking us. I have mastered the Eagle Tribe's vision. I know that our scouts are from the Owl Tribe."

Khar was immediately annoyed to hear that, "very brave of him. Let's go find him and get him, brother."

Nial immediately restrained his sister so as not to get more upset, "no need, Khar. The leader has no ill intentions on us. And we'll meet him again."

Bullan responded to the conversation, "we'll see, Nial. If he threatens our safety, I'd rather just kill him."

Powerbull, who agreed with his brother's words, also said, "brother Bullan is right, Nial. Right now, we don't know who our friends and opponents are. We have to be careful of other tribes."

Warphan decided to shift the topic so that it was not discussed longer, "yes it has been. Let's continue our journey. We have to go through the dark forest to get to the Bear Tribe."

Khar curiously then asked, "why is it called the dark forest, Warphan?"

Warphan then explained, "it is called a dark forest because the trees there grow thick and towering, so that the forest can never be penetrated by the sun. We have to be careful. Our advantage is, Tigerly wouldn't have thought that we would pass through the forest of darkness.

Tigerly himself thought of passing through the dark forest."

Powerbull then asked out of curiosity as well, "why could it?"

Warphan then explained again to his friend, "it is the territory of the Nile Horse. They are famous for their bare-handed fighting techniques. That said, their grip is equivalent to the bite force of a Nile Horse. That's why they're so wary of Tigerly. He won't waste his time looking for us all the way to the dark forest, and sacrificing many of his troops. The Nile Horse tribe could even break swords and spears with just the grip of his hand."

Khar was amazed by the Nile Horse Tribe after hearing Warphan's explanation, "wasn't it very great and powerful? Why is he not the only one who is King? Is he not interested?"

Nial then interrupts his brother's question, "being the King means being the leader of the whole tribe, Khar. It has a great responsibility and must be able to maintain the balance of all tribes. Being strong, not necessarily able to carry out these responsibilities.

oh yes, about the Nile Horse. We met them on the way to the Tiger Tribe. As I recall, Hippotam is the Leader. Isn't it nice to meet him?"

Warphan hesitantly said, "Hippotam is friends with Helion, your father. Not friends with the Lion tribe. After Helion's death, I doubt that many Tribes will care and help you. Only some of the Tribal Leaders consider your father like their brother. But, pray that Hippotam is one of the few people who think your father is a brother."

Bullan, "yes already. We must not live by luck. We need to be stronger so that they don't bully us easily."

Warphan then took his friend, "ayo, friend. We're almost there in the dark forest, it's the entrance to the dark forest. Let's rest in front of the entrance. We need enough rest and a lot of energy before we enter the dark forest."

and immediately make a tent for rest.

Khar then split the task for them, "me and Powerbull alone put up his tent, Warphan. You just find some wood to make a campfire. Nial and Bullan will be looking for the game now."

Warphan, "well, Khar. I'll also fish around the creeks near this dark forest.Hopefully there."

then went to find wood and fish in the river near the entrance of the dark forest.

After a while.

Khar wondered, "where is Warphan? Hasn't he left already? Why hasn't he arrived yet?"

Nial, "I have a bad feeling. Looks like something happened to Warphan."

Bullan took the initiative, "let's go find him, Nial. Don't let anything bad happen to any of us."

Powerbull, "we divide into 2 groups only. I with Khar, Brother Bullan with Nial. We'll meet here again."

Nial agreed to Powerbull's suggestion that, "well, Powerbull. We're going east, you're going west."

Khar, "Okay sister Nial. Come on Powerbull."

then they divided 2 groups, Powerbull and Khar groups searched westward, while Nial and Bullan searched eastward.

After a while,

"aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrggghhhhhhhh.

Help me." shouted Khar asking for help from within the dark forest.

Nial heard the scream, "I heard a scream. Let's get Bullan back"

Bullan then said, "I heard the scream too. Let's hurry."

then ran with Nial towards their tent at the entrance of the dark forest.

Once they get there,,,,,, after,,,,,

Powerbull, "ha, ha, ha, ha. Gawat, Nial and Brother Bullan." spoke with gasping breath.

Nial, :ha,ha,ha. Set your breath first. I'm almost out of breath too."

Bullan, "why Powerbull? Where are Khar and Warphan?"

first ask with a breath that is stable.

Powerbull then explained, "initially Khar and I looked around into the dark forest, Brother Bullan. Then we decided to go into the dark forest. After we entered, we found a Warphan robe on the ground. Suddenly we were ambushed by hundreds of unarmed soldiers. We saw the Warphans with them in bonded condition and as exhausted in torment, sis. saw that, Khar was angry and attacked them. Then we're in the corner, and I'm running to find Bullan and Nial's brother."

Nial then tried to guess, "most likely they were the Nile Horse Tribe. Remembering the Powerbull just said that their troops were unarmed."

Powerbull, "The Nile Horse Tribe? Then what are we gonna do, Nial?"

Nial then took his friend, "we're going into the dark forest. If the Nile Horse kills my only remaining brother, Khar. I will not forgive them."

speaking with eyes that are reddened with anger.

Suddenly about 200 Nile Horsemen were talking about Powerbull, and surrounded Nial, Bullan, and Powerbull.

Powerbull swearing, "shit. I didn't expect them to follow us all the way here."

Then the army of the Nile Horse which surrounded the three of them, simultaneously opened the way. Then a little boy appeared and stared intently at Nial, Bullan, and Powerbull.

The little boy said, "i am named Pota, the second prince of the Nile Horse Tribe." then looked towards Nial.

"you must be Nial, Khar's brother? Am I right?"

Nial answered Pota's question calmly, "you're right, little brother. What do you want from us, little brother?"

Pota, who was humbled by Nial, said, "you call me little sister. This little brother will take you on a duel. If you win, I'll free your sister, Khar. If you lose, you'll have to be our slave for the rest of your life. Hows it? Are you afraid to take the challenge from this little boy?"

Nial rejected the challenge because he thought Pota was just an ordinary kid, "i don't want to fight unequally against you, Pota."

Pota was getting annoyed with Nial's words, "in that case, I will attack first.

get yourself ready, Nial."

then ran and threw his punch towards Nial's face.

Nial, "so fast. I must be on my guard." Shocked at the speed of Pota, then swung his sword towards Pota's neck.

Pota calmly said, "your first strike was aimed at killing me right away? You won't be able to, Nial." grabbed the sword Nial was pointing at his neck, and held the sword in his hand. "With a sword like this, in 10 years you won't be able to kill me. Look." Look."

Traaaaaannggg.

instantly broke Nial's sword with the grip of his hand.

Nial spoke inwardly, "how is it possible?" with a surprised expression.

Pota who felt above the wind then said, "hahaha. Your sword. What if your hand or ribs I made like that?"

Suddenly, from a distance there was a loud scream.

Sound from a distance, "SISTER ASSHOLE. EITHER YOU DO IT OR I WILL PUNISH YOU SEVERELY!!"

at that moment, Pota immediately broke out in cold sweat after hearing the scream.
