The God Of Darkness

The God Of Darkness
Chapter 209 - Concept of life

Ren Yuu who travels with Mei witnesses a small life that looks very fragile among ordinary humans. He saw sacrifice, loyalty and a desire to live. It reminded him of something forgotten. He was too focused on increasing his strength in the past to protect something precious to him.

But has he ever appreciated his own life? The answer is no. Even though he died, he felt no problem so that all the people he loved did not suffer.

Everything was indeed related to Profound Emperor Darkness. Since the current bloodline had been stripped away, Ren Yuu's personality changed slightly after witnessing the fragile life on the planet Desolate.

Therefore, he finally understood from the real concept of life. Ren Yuu understood very well the one thing that made him always fail to understand something.

The current Ren Yuu had already ventured for a year and a half together with Mei. In that time, Mei's cultivation skyrocketed to a terrifying level and could be dubbed a monster. With all the resources present in Ren Yuu s.p.a.ce ring, it would naturally not be difficult for a mortal cultivator to increase by leaps and bounds.

Currently Ren Yuu was on a cliff in the Fang Island region which had changed to the name of Ren island.

Ren Yuu and Mei stared from a distance at the huge palace located not far from the Sacred Mountain, the source of Divine energy on the Desolate planet.

“Go Mei, you've been following me for a year and a half. I don't have much time left. Anyway, I've understood something. Maybe with this I will get a new path.” said Ren Yuu.

“No! I'll keep following you. Your current condition is getting worse, you seem to be getting old faster!” Mei denied for a moment. He was very grateful to Ren Yuu about all the teachings he gave.

Mei considers Ren Yuu as her best friend and Master who guides her to find a new path, not a frog in a well or a coward who just wants to live alone without fighting a cruel world.

Ren Yuu who had an almost old face could only frown. But he smiled because all this time Mei always comforted him. If not, he might die lonely. However, after wandering for a long time, seeing Mei's persistence and her appreciation for life opened Ren Yuu's eyes.

Currently there was only one bet left for Ren Yuu. And he will do it in half a year.

“Come go.” Ren Yuu slowly walked to the Sacred Mountain. Currently the Sacred Mountain was no longer guarded, many cultivators had come to that place to cultivate because it was open to the public.

Over the course of several days, Ren Yuu led Mei to the place she had once entered. The place was very closed and impossible to trace by anyone on the planet Desolate.

“Finally until.” Ren Yuu looked at the wilderness with a serious look at the moment.

“Hm? What is interesting about this place?” mei asked in surprise because the place was just like the other woods behind them.

“Do you remember about the Original Core that I ordered form in the past half a year?” ask Ren Yuu.

“Origin Core Darkness?” ask Mei wonder.

“Yes. Distribute them at this location. Leave it all.” Ren Yuu told Mei.

The confused Mei did not ask anymore. He immediately did as Ren Yuu said.

“What is it?” Mei was surprised that there was a portal suddenly opening.

“This is the most unique place on the planet. I have laid down a special mechanism for this place to open when using the Darkness energy. In the past, I once went inside.” Ren Yuu replied but did not tell her about Eon.

“Oh?” Mei wondered what exactly was the contents of the place.

“Come we enter.” Ren Yuu walked into the portal and Mei followed behind.

The moment they entered, the mechanism that Ren Yuu placed on the portal instantly worked and closed the portal back.

When it passed through the portal, the energy used to bind Eon had vanished which made Ren Yuu narrow his eyes.

“Did the seal have been removed?” inner Ren Yuu. He wanted to check it but hesitated. He then looked towards the entrance to where the Eon seal was. A moment later, he looked towards the path towards the Divine Energy Vein. He immediately walked in that direction followed by May.

Since no energy came from the Eon seal, Ren Yuu did not need Mei's help anymore to protect her. But he still let her come.

After moving for almost half a day, Ren Yuu and Mei arrived at the end of the cave. But the cave is very unique. All the walls of the cave were Crystals that produced Divine energy.

“This place contains a very dense Divine energy.” Mei was very surprised because she did not expect that there would be a place like this on the planet Desolate.

“I haven't reached the True God Tier before. And this place is the most suitable to start.” Inner Ren Yuu.

“Cultivate in this place May, it won't take long for you to reach the Divine Tier. But don't let your guard down because there will be lightning tribulations that you will have to go through when you reach the Divine Tier.” Ren Yuu said.

“Oh? So, what are you going to do?” ask Mei.

“Spend time and try something.” Ren Yuu slowly walked over to a stone that was emitting an extremely dense Divine energy. The stone was right on top of the Divine Vein on the planet Desolate.

Mei was initially confused but did not ask again. He slowly sat down cross-legged to cultivate. But he would not let go of his tracking from Ren Yuu. He would withstand a breakthrough to the Divine Tier so that Ren Yuu would not be disturbed.

Ren Yuu sat down on the stone and felt a sting as the dense Divine energy touched his skin. But he kept it and closed his eyes.

“The concept of life. I have seen all the lives lived by ordinary humans. Appreciate life, live in it, walk with other lives, gain life, lose life.” Inner Ren Yuu as he begins to understand everything. Finally Ren Yuu understood the meaning of the concept of life. During this time he always failed to understand the book Samsara Life and Death because it does not deepen the concept.

And this time, he had understood the concept of life and lastly, he only needed to understand the concept of death.

Ren Yuu understood one thing, to understand the concept of death itself, he had to die to understand it.
