The Past (5)

Krystal was astonished to see Frine knocking herself down, she thought nothing would happen afterwards. However, as Frine's screams echoed in the palace, Krystal's room was filled with people who felt called out to Frine's screeches, including Killian. The lines of anger painted on Killian's face, seeing Frine crying with her knees hurt, put Krystal on the edge of danger.

“KRYSTAL!” sergeant Killian, Krystal gasped as Killian attacked him.

“A-what? You mad at me?” ask Krystal.

“You can still ask? What did you do to Frine? Are you so obsessed with being the Empress that you're doing this kind of cruel thing to Frine? You're crazy, huh?!”

Killian spoke while pointing at Krystal's face, his emotions unstoppable, seeing Frine sitting on the floor with her legs severely injured. Krystal knew nothing about it, let alone the wound on her leg that came out of nowhere. Krystal wanted to fight back but Killian did not give her a chance to speak.

“BRENGS*K! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO THIS WOMAN!” shouted Krystal full of anger, “You how many times I explained it you probably will not believe because this woman who will become your Empress, of course you will trust your own future Empress.”

Krystal was burning with emotional flames, she had never felt this tight before, whereas Frine was smiling faintly towards Krystal as a sign that she was winning in trapping Krystal.

“Why are you getting brave with me now? Usually you never curse me. What the hell happened to you? Do you have another man behind me?” Krystal was overrun by various absurd questions. Killian grasped Krystal's wrist tightly to ask for an explanation.

Krystal smiled slanted, how sad her life at that time had to survive among people who did not want her existence.

“Have a boy? Have you ever seen me close to anyone other than you? I've only talked to a few men, but I've never had a more serious relationship than a friend. I'm not like you who suddenly betrayed me and then intended to marry a woman you've never lyricized once!”

Krystal spoke at length until she made her breath tight, Killian's accusation was so heartbreaking, the sincere feeling she had built up all this time was forced to run aground in the middle of the road. Krystal hates her so much, she has no more desire to be happy, she has no more hope for others.

“I'm a traitor? I've asked you to be my concubine, then what the fuck? Why are you acting like you're the one who's hurt the most? I don't like you like this, Krystal! Until when are you going to keep doing this? How long are you going to put your jealousy and envy on Frine? Crazy woman like you dare to harm Frine!”

Killian defends Frine and scolds Krystal, causing Krystal's wall of patience to collapse. Though he intended to live here without looking for trouble or offending them both, whereas he planned to live alone without relying on Killian anymore, it was enough that Killian had written a wound on his innocent heart. However, hope is only hope, and plans are only plans. If the situation is like this, then it is certain that he will be stuck in a bigger problem.

“Let go of my hand, damn it! I will never be your concubine! Don't ever expect me to be acting like normal to you again. And again I never meant to hurt this lowly woman! He slandered me, he made up stories like I hurt him. Why doesn't anyone believe me? Is my existence really this low in your eyes?”

Krystal vented all forms of disappointment and sadness to Killian, despite having spoken that way, nothing changed from the view of others to her. Killian's incised wound will have no concern for him, now Krystal is truly alone in the midst of these baseless accusations.

PLACKS

Instead of feeling guilty, Killian deliberately slapped Krystal to make her aware. Krystal froze as the powerful slap landed on her cheek, she made no sound or resistance to Killian.

Killian cornered Krystal and compared herself to Frine, Krystal who could not accept that, she ran outside regardless of what other people looked at her. His heart ached, torn, wounded, but with no tears coming out, he was at a loss as to how else he would express his endless sadness.

“Everything is the same, equally painful!” krystal murmured out of the imperial gate.

Krystal's feet continued to step, she was currently heading towards the lush forest beside the empire. However, when he arrived in the forest, he found a lot of blood splattered, out of curiosity Krystal finally followed the trail of blood.

“What is this?”

Krystal was aghast in shock, her blood rippling strongly, before her there were currently the corpses of the seven great gods lying lifeless. Their bodies were scattered on the ground, the condition of the bodies was still new, so Krystal was sure that they had just been killed. However, Krystal did not know who made them like this.

“Why can they die? Who did it?” Krystal walked closer one by one the bodies of the great gods. He remembered that some time ago, many great gods left the empire for no apparent reason. Then Krystal tried to examine their bodies to find out at least one clue about their deaths.

“HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?”

A group of palace guard gods shouted at Krystal, they were shocked when they saw Krystal with the corpses of the seven great gods.

“KILLERS.. THERE ARE KILLERS HERE! THE GREAT GOD KILLER!” cry one of the gods.

“I'm not a killer! I didn't kill them!” krystal defended herself.

“Do not make excuses anymore! Obviously we found you among these bodies! Quickly follow us before you are forced to—”

Krystal, furious at being accused, pointed her fan at the gods.

“I told you I didn't kill them. Okay, let the charges be a little true, what if you're the one I killed?”

The sharp end of Krystal's fan, he swung it to make one of the head of the guardian god roll down on the ground. He no longer wanted to show fear, he would fight them head-on.

“LACK! ATTACK HER! DON'T LET THIS MURDERER GET AWAY WITH IT!”
