The Heir of the God of Death

The Heir of the God of Death
Chapter 05's

THE GULP!

I gulped my saliva and unconsciously the sweat had soaked my forehead, was this because I was scared? I think I'm really starting to get scared, because the inside of the dungeon isn't what it used to be.

"Sir Adrian, I think the inside of the dungeon changed too."

"What do you mean, Mr Peteng?"

"I think the dungeon has really changed, because the front is our only way." I said, flipping back and the worst had happened.

Everything followed my gaze as well, they flipped over and it seemed as if their faces were shocked, because our way back was completely closed.

Everything began to panic and Mr. Adrian began to find it difficult to control his members, because he himself did not know what to do.

"I don't think it's an option, Susan, please take my hand off for a second."

"Did? Fine."

Actually he took my hand off because he was still scared, but this time he understood what I wanted.

I took a deep breath and...

"SILENCE!!!"

My screams reached out to all of them.

"WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE STRONGER THAN ME, HUH!! We need to calm down and work it out together, I know there are people we love waiting at home, I'm the same! I don't want to stay here waiting for death, so I will fight as hard as I can to get out of here!"

Everyone was silent and stunned to hear my words, this time I first shouted to people what more people were and that was enough to make me very nervous.

"I don't think this kid can calm them down, as chairman I'm ashamed I can't calm them all down" thought Adrian.

Mr. Adrian suddenly patted me on the shoulder and he said leave the rest to him.

"Actually we should all be ashamed, the one whom we have always considered to be very weak but who turns out to be the toughest among us. Therefore, we must be strong and get out of here."

Instantly everything instantly rose from the slump and revealed a determined expression, no fear plastered on his face anymore.

While Susan looks her face like never before, her face looks a little pale and a little light-headed-not looking too frightened from before.

As soon as everything returned to spirit, we continued on our way. Our only path is to follow the flames that are stuck on the wall.

While walking I felt the air from here getting colder, as we got deeper and deeper even though these flames did not change the temperature at all. What is this because the Mana here is so high, that it makes my body feel shivering like it is cold.

The more we walk, the more the road we go through the wider. While walking for quite a while, finally stopping somewhere very wide, we thought this was the end of his dungeon in other words where his boss was.

"Is this where the boss is?"

Seen a very confused Mr. Adrian and all his members, who once roamed the Dungeon Rank-F to the boss without killing his boss.

"Arkha. There, something is written."

Susan who pulled up my sleeve and pointed towards the front, seemed to see something.

We all went in the direction Susan was heading, for a moment I saw a rock standing upright with a writing.

"What is this writing?"

Everything was glued to the writing, between them no one understood and somehow my eyes suddenly felt a little hot.

"Eragh!"

I groaned in pain as I closed my eyes with my hands, and everyone immediately saw me in pain.

"Arkha! You why? Hey!"

Susan was panicking the first time she saw me.

"All of a sudden my eyes are hot! I don't know why!"

"Then let me assuage."

"Don't..!" I said while looking at the writing. "Maybe this is the effect of the new skill I got."

Everyone was surprised to hear it and Mr. Adrian first asked about the skill I got:

"What skill do you get, Mr Peteng?"

"I don't know what skill, but suddenly I can read this writing."

"Wait a minute let me try." I said as I focused my vision on the writing and I could read it.

...Qod ava gimpi aeta via. gimpi qod dene sig sutatem, gompi sig fo prosuern ingul....

...Qod mer jo antane inteseton....

...Consu antane sap alan, e into te abe ad dem. Ropi uip sak sap ani mea, indumat e alan arf....

"What does that mean, Mr Peteng?"

"The meaning of this writing is a kind of verse, let me read it:

(He had a dream of a lifetime. His dream came out on top, a dream that made him determined.).

(He walked among the crossroads.Submitting himself to seven paths, and setting all his deeds to seven souls.).

(Stand among the seven paths, and give them all up to him. The drops of life from the seven souls, have led him to the path to the top.)"

"I think this poem hints at sacrifice."

Instantly a woman from our group spoke up behind me.

"Do you know what this poem means, Zara?" Ask Mr. Adrian.

"I don't know what that means, sir. Since I was in literature school looking at the direction of this sentence, I think it's some kind of sacrifice for someone."

We just kept quiet and heard it carefully, so the basic meaning of this verse is sacrifice. But. I feel there is still another meaning to this verse.

Woshis! Woshis! Woshis!

Immediately a fire surrounded this place and saw seven gates every corner of the wall.

"The gate? Are we going to fight the boss?"

I also thought like that, but I feel like this dungeon has no intention of letting go of all of us just like that.

SRETH...!

Seven gates opened simultaneously, and a heavy cage was heard there.

BOOM UP! BOOM UP! BOOM UP!

Suddenly a great tremor appeared and it sounded like the footsteps of someone very large behind that gate.

BOOM UP! BOOM UP! BOOM UP!

After a while the vibration was getting felt in other words something was going to come out of there.

"What! Can't be..!"

We were all shocked to see a strange creature emerge from the gates, in addition to their size of about 5 meters more and resemble a human half monster.

We just silently stared with trembling bodies.

"Aaaahhh..! I want to get out of here..!"

One of the group panicked and ran towards the road we had been on.

But nevertheless....

MY SHUT...!

Instantly one of the monsters appeared suddenly before the man.

"Eh?"

THE CREK..!

One huge sword slash split the two bodies of the man.

"YESY!!!"

We were just silent and hysterical to see one of our comrades die in plain sight. My feet were shaking looking at those monsters.

"Facing the seven monstrous monsters with our makeshift skills, am I or among us really able to escape from here?!"
