"I have to ask Joni this. He has arranged my daily schedule. If there's no meeting tonight, I'm willing to have coffee here" Luca said with an awkward face. The man himself felt strange about himself. Never before had he felt this awkward. What else in front of a woman.
"Sir, if you're busy. You don't have to force yourself. Only coffee can I give you my thanks. I really don't know how anymore. Because I know you're a man who's all-round." Tiffany just looked down.
"I told you from the beginning that I didn't mind helping Quinn. If the little boy we found wasn't Quinn, we'd do the same thing" Luca said just so Tiffany doesn't keep feeling like she's giving back.
Joni immediately shows up to tell them that they still have a meeting at one of the nightclubs with the business people. The man did not want to say it directly in front of Tiffany.
"Sir, we must leave immediately. They're waiting for us there." Hearing Joni's words made Tiffany look sad. It made Luca scrunch his forehead. "Isn't this supposed to be a golden opportunity for me? If I manage to make Tiffany believe in me and look at me as a good man, she won't feel suspicious anymore if my daughter takes me away" Luca murmured inwardly.
"Is tonight's meeting important?" Luca's question again made Joni shocked. Obviously the meeting attended by Luca in person is definitely important because the man will definitely kill Joni if Joni invites him to attend an unfortunate meeting at all.
"Boss, you asked me to arrange this meeting. Why are you asking me again?" whispered Joni.
Luca cleared his throat slowly while tidying up his appearance. "Cancel everything. I have much more important business."
The woman turned her face the other way. "Alright, Sir. Then I'll make you some coffee. Excuse me," said Tiffany before stepping into the kitchen.
After making sure Tiffany would not hear their conversation, Luca immediately looked towards Joni with a confused face. "Why don't you keep him from going? If we get late and they cancel this meeting, we'll lose big!" with a pissed face.
"Sir, didn't you say that this meeting was canceled. You just said it a few seconds ago" Joni said with a frustrated face.
"But I'm not serious about saying it. I just don't want to be looked upon as an arrogant man by that woman. I want him to believe me. That way I can easily pick up Quinn whenever I want!" Luca is not to blame.
"Then you just hang in here until the coffee made by Miss Tiffany runs out. I'll arrange for the people at the club to wait for you" Joni said.
"A good idea. Quickly leave now and arrange everything. I'm going to go back inside. After a few words of conversation I will leave this house. At least that woman no longer looked at me as an arrogant and evil man!"
Luca immediately went inside the house. Joni just scratched her head that wasn't itchy. "It always makes other people difficult. But I get paid a lot for this job. I can't protest. If Mr. Luca finds out that I'm complaining, maybe my position will be replaced by someone else" Joni said before heading to the car.
