Quinn glanced at Tiffany who had been moping since morning. The little girl looked at Tiffany full of probes. Quinn was forced to wake up. Tiffany is not okay. The girl took a deep breath. Then blow it slowly.
"Mom, did something happen last night?" Quinn asked carefully. The little girl gulped her own saliva when she saw the change in expression on Tiffany's face.
"Finish your breakfast." Tiffany spoke in a sharp tone. The woman did not even take her eyes off the bowl of chicken porridge Tiffany herself had bought.
Quinn gulped his saliva again. The little girl lowered her head. He knew something must have happened when he accidentally fell asleep last night.
"Now I'm getting more sure. If Mommy and Uncle Luca aren't okay. Yesterday, Mommy and Uncle Luca made up. I don't know what happens when I sleep. So Mommy this morning looks emotional" Quinn murmured in her heart.
Tiffany pondered. The woman was very upset by last night's incident. Especially when Dante suddenly forced his way in and continued to apologize to him. Tiffany took a deep breath. He became unappetised after remembering yesterday's events.
"Mommy, where are you going?" Quinn asked when Tiffany had packed her bowl of chicken porridge.
"Mommy is full" said Tiffany.
"But Mommy always taught Quinn to eat. We must not throw it away because it will take our responsibility once we are dead." Quinn's statement was very targeted. Tiffany really felt stuck in her heart.
This time Tiffany decided to sit down. Then Tiffany started eating her favorite bowl of chicken porridge. It's just that her bad mood made Tiffany lose her appetite.
"I should have remembered if Quinn was here. Why did I get out of control? Don't let Quinn know and worry that Dante came here yesterday. Quinn is very clever. I'd better not be daydreaming." Tiffany is in the heart.
"Quinn, after school. Where do you want to go?" ask Tiffany.
Quinn raised her head. He was confused because Tiffany suddenly had that question. Quinn sipped a glass of milk. Then he looked at Tiffany with sharp eyes.
"I don't want to go anywhere, Mom. So, Mommy can go to work with an airy heart. Because Quinn's gonna do schoolwork at home." Quinn's answer finally made Tiffany look at Quinn with haru.
Tiffany knew Quinn didn't want to worry her. But Tiffany could do nothing. Because Tiffany also has to work part-time. The woman was already determined to take on a lot of work if she got the offer.
"You sure Quinn? Mommy can take a day off to take you away. So just tell me where you want to go. Mommy promised to grant you every wish." Tiffany still seduces Quinn. So Quinn trusts herself and tells her what she wants.
Tiffany knew Quinn was understanding. But Tiffany also realized that Quinn still needed affection and attention from him. That's why Tiffany wanted Quinn to tell her honestly.
Quinn shook her head. "It's okay, Mom. I don't want anything. Provided that Mommy can work properly and immediately go home after completing the work. Because if Mommy comes home late it'll make me think too much."
Tiffany could not help but hear Quinn's words. The woman closed her mouth in surprise. Quinn is unexpectedly very good at understanding situations.
"But Mommy has plenty of time for you. It's okay if we have fun too. Doesn't every child want to have fun? Are you different from most kids?" Tiffany asked with words that touched the corner of Quinn's heart.
"alright. How about we go on Sunday? Saturday Mommy must still be taking the job. Usually jobs taken when the weekend has a higher pay than the usual day. So let's have fun when Sunday comes." Quinn spoke with a smile.
"It's over?" ask Tiffany.
Quinn glanced at his already empty bowl. The little girl nodded her head in response. Tiffany cleaned the dining table. Even though the dining table paint was fading, Tiffany never seemed to change. The woman behaved the same as before.
"Take your bag. And we're leaving now." Tiffany immediately cleaned the dirty bowl.
"I'm ready, Mom!" Quinn exclaimed loudly. The little girl was back in front of Tiffany.
"Come on." Tiffany was not smiling as usual. For a moment, Quinn was staring. He did not even welcome a helping hand from Tiffany.
"Quinn, why do you see mommy like that? Is mommy's appearance so strange today?" Tiffany tried to remember. Obviously he didn't use any other powder. He has also made sure that his appearance is the same as normal days.
"Did Mommy get in trouble? Mommy didn't sleep well last night, did she? Why do I see dark bags under Mommy's eyes?" Quinn flocked to Tiffany with a lot of questions.
Hearing Quinn's statement, Tiffany was shocked. Apparently he had failed in hiding his anxiety from Quinn. The woman also took a long breath.
"Yes, I should have realized that Quinn was a little different from most kids. It seems impossible to hide my problems with her. It's just, I hope Quinn won't find out what problems I'm having. Yeah, I hope so." Tiffany nodded.
"Mom?" call Quinn impatient.
Tiffany smiled. "It's nothing. Come on, let's go. Before you're really late because we're wasting too much time."
"okay."
Quinn didn't talk much anymore. The little girl began to follow Tiffany's footsteps as she walked away from their home. The two rush to find public transport to get to Quinn's school.
About 15 minutes later, they both arrived at Quinn's school. A little slower than usual. Because they both get public transportation long enough.
"Quinn, remember what mommy said. You don't leave this school no matter what. And if there are people who want to take you for a walk, then ignore it. Who knows they're bad guys. Do you remember what Mommy ordered?" Tiffany gave Quinn a warning. So that the little girl is alert to the people around her.
"Yes, Mom. But, behind Mommy there's a bad guy Mommy said." Quinn pointed at the person behind Tiffany.
Tiffany turned her body around. Tiffany's eyes were rounded. When he recognized the figure of a man who was stout. Obviously Tiffany just talked about the bad guy. Dante stood there as he watched Tiffany begin to put on alert.
"Dante! What else are you coming for?" snapped Tiffany.
"Tiffany, I came to ask you to talk. Will you come with me for a minute? That damn guy's not here. I'm not drunk. So, let's talk casually."
