"I'm Eloise. You remember me?"
Max tapped his forehead with his finger. He was trying to remember who this girl in front of him was.
"We met a few months ago here." The girl named Eloise reminded me. "The exhibition of paintings by the art faculty of the Sorbonne University" he continued.
"Oowh, you're a sorbonne the naturalist painter." Max snapped his finger. "Eloise, yes Eloise . I remember you. Comment ca va (how are you)?" Max shakes Eloise's hand.
"Ca va bien, merci (i'm fine, thanks). Ah, it's so nice to see you again. We forgot to exchange phone numbers. We're too busy discussing," Eloise said. "You're a really talented High School boy, Max," he said later, making Max grimace while scratching his nape.
"Owhh .. introduce, this is Wulan .. she ...."
"I'm Max's teacher" Wulan cut off as he reached out his hand and shook Eloise's hand.
"Wrap (hello)," he said at a glance at Wulan. "Max, let me show you my painting over there," said Eloise, pointing to what appeared to be her stand.
"Emmm .. " Max turned to Wulan. He hesitates - hesitates to follow Eloise's invitation.
"I'll continue to look around the painting." Wulan who caught the worry on Max's face immediately replied. "See you later, Max."
Wulan nodded towards Eloise and passed. He walked away without looking back at Max.
He busied himself around looking - look at paintings with various painting techniques that began to attract his attention. From classical realism to fauvism. There are even futurists. Everything looks unique and awesome.
After a few minutes of wandering the world on canvas, Wulan took the time to turn to Max and Eloise who were still chatting with each other in the distance. Both look familiar. It seems that Eloise was so enthusiastic about showing her paintings to Max. So did the young man, he also looks enthusiastic commenting. Seen from the movements of his hands that move up and down, then pointed on the canvas.
Lastly, Wulan sees Max pull out his phone and hand it to Eloise. And vice versa. Looks like they exchanged phone numbers.
Wulan smiled faintly watching the familiarity of the two young people. Then he decided to sit for a while at a cafe not far from the exhibition venue. He ordered a cup of coffee and enjoyed it while spreading his gaze towards the Seine river in front of him.
Long enough Wulan kept silent there. When someone arrived - suddenly patted his shoulder slowly and made him gasp.
"Pierre?" Throat's choked. His gaze followed the movement of the body of the man who was the status of ex-husband until he sat before him. "What's right here?"
"Finding paintings for room decoration. Me and Emelie just moved into a new apartment, "Pierre replied without a burden.
Wulan swallowed his saliva. This man really did not think about his feelings. He uttered his new woman's name in front of Wulan as if - would they be just ordinary friends. Did Pierre consider their five years together to be meaningless at all. While Wulan until now is still struggling to treat his heart injury.
"You came with your girlfriend?" pierre asked as his eyes caught the figure of Max walking towards them.
"He's not my girlfriend" Wulan said.
Pierre throbbed while raising both of his hands. "Bon, ben (yes already), nice to meet you, Wulan." Pierre got up from his seat and stroked Wulan's head which instantly made an evasive gesture.
The man glared at Max with his slanted smile and passed.
"I'm sorry, Miss. I've been in discussions with Eloise for too long. Until I leave you and you have to meet your annoying ex-husband" Max said, putting on his guilty face. "Did he bother you?"
Wulan. He didn't want to respond to words Max said. I don't know, his mood is not good. Maybe because of Pierre's unexpected presence. Or because of something else?
"Max, please continue your activities. I'm going home. I'm a little unwell" Wulan said as she moved from her seat.
"Don't, Miss. We go home together."
"No need," Wulan. "Look, it seems like Eloise still wants to discuss with you," he said, looking at the sweet, brown-haired girl in the distance who was looking back and forth. He was looking for someone. And his face looked happy as soon as he found Max.
"I'm done talking to him." Max walks in Wulan's footsteps along the wide sidewalk between shops and cafes crowded by visitors. "I exchanged phone numbers with him. I can continue the discussion with him at a later time."
Max's voice sounded from behind. "You jealous?" ask with origin.
"Huh?" Wulan exclaimed in shock. Or maybe pretend to look surprised. I don't know, Max's no-nonsense question confused him. "Jealous?" chortled. "Bas on you! Why should I be jealous? There - there is!"
"But your face looks moody" Max denied as he tilted his head to examine Wulan's face.
"That's because . hmmm .. never mind, forget it."
"Because of your ugly ex-husband?"
Wulan. "He's not ugly!" his protest.
"But not handsome." Max doesn't want to lose. "Hey, why are you defending him? You still love her?"
"It's none of your business!" Wulan glared at Max.
"Don't don't you still expect to get back to her."
Wulan pulled Max's hair. "Little boy knows what?" the hardic.
Max wettest. "Let's watch a movie, Miss. After that, we have dinner. I'll deal with it."
"Just save your money, Max."
"Come on, Wulan."
Wulan took a deep breath - deep. "My mood's not good, Max. I'm just going home."
"It is precisely because your mood is not good that I will comfort you, Miss."
Wulan rolled both her eyes. This wretched child is truly unyielding. He stared at that handsome face with those expectant blue eyes.
"You just take Eloise!" Eventually the words just slid from Wulan's mouth. Makes Max squint. But a moment later his smile was wide, for the sake of seeing Wulan's face that looked grim.
"So you're actually in a bad mood because of Eloise?" ask Max happy. "He's just a friend, Miss."
Wulan patted his forehead. "Why are you such a bitch, Max," he murmured.
"Come, Miss. Admit it," urged Max. It was still with his piety that made Wulan even more upset. The woman squeezed her face rough.
Wulan flicked her hand thinking Max's babbling was just the wind then. Without caring for the rascal again, he turned around and stepped down the stairs of the underground station.
"Miss, don't go!" max exclaimed from the top of the stairs made some people who were passing by noticed him for a moment.
"I'm just kidding!" shouts back. But Wulan had disappeared from the sight of his eyes.
Max stroked her hair and ruffled it roughly. Then he looked back down the stairs hoping that Wulan would change his mind and emerge from there.
Niente.
