The High School Bad Boy

The High School Bad Boy
Chapters 27. Another Day Of The Pain.

Wulan tidied up her books and put them in a cabinet in her living room. He was stunned for a moment when he found Max's hand on a sketch paper he had stored there a few days ago.

Smile rattled. The bengal boy so detailed caught his pouting facial expression and poured it on the paper.

Wulan was about to keep the papers back when her eyes caught a piece of old photo tucked between the books that made her chest again painful.

Pierre et Wulan, California, 2016.

He read the writing behind the outdated photo. Taken in the first year of marriage. While vacationing at the home of Pierre's parents who live in California. Still so sweet. As if - a storm would never come crashing.

For some reason, he decided to print the photo and tuck it into a reading book.

Wulan touched her chest and took a deep breath. The man in the photo, Pierre, who is standing next to him, has moved on with his new girlfriend. While Wulan, has not yet moved from the ruins of his heart. Still locked with memories with the man he should have hated so much. It's stupid. He cursed himself.

One question that still looms over him and searches his heart for answers. Why did Pierre treat him so badly? What harm?

But, he realized. All of this is no longer important. There is no point in continuing to regret.

Potatoes have become potato porridge.

All he could do was overcome the prolonged desolation that had developed into emptiness.

He slipped the photo in his hand back into the book. Then take the paper from Max and take it to his room.

Wulan lay on her bed smilingly watching the last prank of the little boy - this end, without her noticing, made her a little, excited.

Is that really the right word to describe her feelings for Maximilian?

Put two pieces of paper on the nightstand. He tried to close his eyes accompanied by the sound of police patrol car sirens out there.

STALINGRAD AREA, SURESNES.

Damien threw the cigarette butts out the window of his car as soon as he saw a black-jacketed figure walking over. He opened the car door and let someone in.

"Damien!" He slid into Damien's arms and began to cry.

"Nad, we're talking, okay?" he said while releasing Nadia's embrace.

"I have to how?"

Damien ruffled his hair rough. Then lean his back against the chair, then lean his body towards the wheel and support him with both arms there.

"Abortion." Damien turned to Nadia who was stifled by his words.

"Non, non, non. I can't do it. Let's just get married, Damien."

"You're crazy!" snapped Damien. Made Nadia sobbing. "Be quiet, Nadia .. I'm thinking."

Nadia wiped the tears with the back of her hand. Face bowed.

"Listen, Nad .. My reputation could be ruined, my job is at stake."

"I can't believe you're just thinking about yourself!" hardik Nadia growled.

Damien raised his hand. "Nad, you can continue your pregnancy. I'll finance everything. You and your baby." He breathed for a moment. "But I can't marry you. And our relationship is quite up here."

Nadia nodded in disbelief. "Don't do this to me, Damien. My mother will marry me to her chosen man. I don't want to," he whispered. "Take me out of here."

"Je peux pas (i can't)!" exclamation Damien.

"Mais je t'aime (but I love you), Damien!"

Damien touched Nadia's soft shoulder. "I'm sorry, Nadia .. That's all I can offer you."

Nadia's eyes were straight ahead. Blank. He was devastated by everything Damien said to him.

"Tu m'aime pas (you don't love me)," he murmured softly. "What am I living for?"

"Don't say that, Nad!"

Nadia opened the car door slowly. His gaze is still empty. He doesn't care about Damien calling his name.

"Merde (shit)!" Damien's voice came from his car.

While Nadia continued to step foot on the sidewalk Stalingrad. He no longer cares about his surroundings. He doesn't care about people passing through. His world seemed to have become dark for a moment.

Because of the baby she contains, because her mother who was forced to marry her to someone she did not love at all, and what made her lose hope is, Damien really dumped her.

He hoped the earth would swallow him up right then and there.

JEAN LYCEE - BAPTISTE SAY, SURESNES.

Max hurriedly locked his locker as soon as he saw Wulan walking past him in the corridor without turning his head towards him. The teacher's mother was busy examining the books she brought for later she put them in her bag.

"Welcome (hello), Miss ...."

Max aligned his steps with Wulan while putting on his ignorant smile, as usual.

"Hallo, Max, how are you today?" ask Wulan. He only glanced at Max without stopping his steps towards the school grounds.

"C'est pas tres bien (not too good)," he replied.

"Oh ouais? Why (ohya? why)?"

"Miss you" chuckled Max who was immediately greeted with a slow blow on his shoulder.

"Can you just one day not be so annoying to me?" asked Wulan while stopping her steps.

"I'm serious."

Wulan. Then check out Max's semi-long hair that is tied just like that. He just realized that this bengal boy looks very handsome. His eyes were hypnotized to look at the pair of eyes with the color as blue as the sky. Then went down through his perfect pointed nose, then his sturdy jaw, his thin, pink lips, his neck ....

"Miss, Hellooo ...."

Wulan gasped. "Yes, Max?" He cleared his throat to smooth his throat. He almost laughed at himself. Was he so lonely that he almost wanted a sixteen-year-old?

"I said I seriously missed you. Today you didn't teach my class. So only now do I see you."

Wulan shook her head while mengu lum thin smile.

"Owh, Max .. I haven't seen Nadia in days. Do you know where he is?" ask Wulan, switch the conversation.

"It hurts, maybe."

Wulan nodded - nodding. "Yes, until tomorrow, Max," she said.

"Wait, Miss!"

Max follows Wulan into the school's main building. "You're going straight home?"

"Emmm .. I actually want to go have coffee with Miss Adrienne" Wulan replied, looking back and forth for Adrienne. "Ah that's her ...." He pointed at Adrienne who had just entered.

"Okay, Max .. a demain (until tomorrow)." Wulan patted Max's arm and stepped closer to Adrienne who had been waiting for him.

Max breathed a disappointed breath. But he could only look at Wulan who was now walking with Adrienne out to the schoolyard.

.

.

Max stepped foot into his apartment building while occasionally kicking a pebble that was scattered on the sidewalk.

His attention was now on an ambulance that roared and moved into the courtyard of the building where he lived.

He frowned as soon as he saw that there were several police cars parked there. Max was even more astonished when he saw many people crowded near the lobby door. Two policemen were talking to them.

Max stepped quickly towards the crowd of people and mingled with them. Not yet had he asked what was going on, four medics came out the door and carried a stretcher with a body bag that had been tied at the top and bottom.

His chest was pounding. His face was warming. His palms let out cold sweat.

"What's going on?" He asked a man standing next to him.

"Mistress Kareem's daughter .. She killed herself."

Max felt like he was struck by lightning in broad daylight. Body vibrates. It was like being carried up by a powerful energy into the sky, then thrown to the ground until his body was crushed to pieces.

The sound of sirens from the ambulance in the building's courtyard made him gasp. At first glance one of the medics closed the back door of the car from inside.

Nadias.
