The Irregular At Elite High School's

The Irregular At Elite High School's
Chapter 7 Resolution

[Ichiji Sei Point of View]

My reunion with Shunsaku Tomo was a shocking moment. Putting aside the problems between our families, what I felt when dealing with him was purely a feeling of happiness.

I seem to be selfish. I did not show a sorry face in front of him. Wh why? Is my sympathy fake? No, obviously not so. The reason that made this feeling of happiness so domineering was probably because I had been for so long.. Yeah, so long I wish I could see her again.

'How are you doing now? Where do you live? Do you eat regularly?'

I want to ask you everything. But before that, there's the most important thing I want to ask.

'Do you remember me?'

I observed his expression before opening the card. Honey, his expression had not changed at all. This is what you can do. Ten years have passed and my present appearance has changed a lot.

Now the only way is to introduce yourself. If I mentioned my name, he would remember it, right? After that.. Yes, after that I will..

'Will I after that?'

Reality suddenly hit hard to make me realize from my empty dreams.

'What am I thinking?'

That domineering feeling of happiness seemed to blind me to forgetting a reality.it was a bitter reality where we were no longer likely to be friends like we used to be.

Given what my family has done, I think that's impossible. I was sure that when he learned of my true identity, he would no longer see me as an Ichiji Sei anymore..

'Enemy.'

Maybe that's how I'll look in his eyes.

'The ship has sailed.'

Our chance to go back to what we used to be is no longer there. But that doesn't mean I'll take my hands off him. If he wants to think of me as an enemy, I will help him gladly I will help him release all his anger and heartache.

As one of the conglomerate families, the Ichiji family has an accurate source of information. From there I managed to find out that the Golden Star Academy also held an exam through a special pathway.  I also inserted the information in a story essay where every beginning of the new school year the school will announce the number of students received through a special path. I was forced to make up for Shunsaku to believe that the special exam was not just a rumor.

At that time, I hoped that there would be at least a bit of a miracle where he could find a way to take that special exam. Who would have thought, that miracle was not something that was needed. In just a matter of hours since we parted, I managed to make him fixated on staring at a name that appeared on the screen of the hall building.

'He's already here.'

I know he is a very unusual person. But if he was already here, it meant that he also already knew how to take that special exam right? I hired a lot of informants but didn't get any information now so it looks like a fool.

If this is the possibility that we will be together at this school will be even greater. My lips were smiling and my heart was beating faster. I can't wait to see it when we'll be together again.

After completing the fifty questions given, the examinees were divided into a team of ten. I was on the 'A' team and Shunsaku was on 'J'. It's a shame we're not a team, but it's okay. We just pass this exam and after that we will be able to meet at school.

"When your discussion is thirty minutes. Please start."

The examination supervisor signals the start of the exam where we will have a discussion to determine the lowest score participants in this team.

"How about we introduce ourselves first?"

I opened the conversation and drew the views of all the participants.

"If we knew each other maybe the discussion would be easier. First of all from me first, my name is Ichiji Sei from Tokiwadai Middle School."

"Huh? From the Ichiji family?"

"Isn't that the conglomerate's surname, huh?"

"Tokiwadai SMP as well.. Isn't that the top SMP?"

Too many questions that arise simultaneously makes me confused which one to serve. I cut everything and passed the turn to the next player.

Their attention was also distracted. Our next introduction went well, except to arrive at the last participant.

"Yuki Masaawa.. From Elementary I already had a weak body, so I didn't go to any school and just went home schooling."

"Just Home Schooling? Is he able to compete with the other participants coming from the top schools?"

A male participant doubted Amasawa's academic ability.

"Yes, that's definitely not possible. Home schooling is just like a school that teaches standard materials. The level is clearly much different from us getting into a top school."

"If so, it is likely that he is the lowest value."

A sudden commotion occurs. The participants began to build a common opinion that Amasawa was the lowest-rated participant.

BRACKET

"Simmer down everyone!"

I kicked down the table and made the whole room quiet. I actually don't like to take advantage of their disdain for Ichiji's family, but right now I need to use that.

"We must not accuse anyone without evidence. Besides, you haven't even given him a chance to talk. Is this how top school students behave?"

It pisses me off. I can't believe, they can judge a person's ability just because he follows home schooling.

"I don't mind."

Amazawa finally spoke. Although he has received many unflattering accusations, he sounds very calm.

"That's the truth."

"But that doesn't mean they can judge your value either."

"Ah sorry.. I don't mean just home schooling. I think my grades are the lowest on this team."

"No, he did it himself."

"If you don't bother anymore."

Another participant immediately responded and was overwritten by the others. Things are starting to get out of control again.

"Hoi y'all.. Isn't this a little weird?"

A male participant denied. It has a firm posture and a combed back hairstyle. If not mistaken, his name is Ishigami Shun.

From his appearance and manner of speaking, maybe people will think that he is a delinquent. Especially her hair that was painted into a bright blonde color made her look very striking.

"Normally people will not admit if the value is bad. It's the same as suicide, right?"

Ishigami further added.

"I don't want you to believe. But even if it was a lie, who would be harmed?"

Amazawa made people think what would happen if our guess was wrong. If we are wrong, it means that the participants who will be dropped out have the highest value. And who are the participants with the highest scores?

I could feel their gazes occasionally pointing at me. For a Tokiwadai student and from a distinguished family, they must think I have an advantage over them. Yeah, in other words, the one who would most likely be dropped out if our guess was wrong was me.

"What if we vote?"

A participant submitted an idea and we oun ended up voting. Eight people agreed to vote for Amazawa, but only Ishigami and I refused.

"Next I will give you the results. The guess of the 'A' team for the student with the lowest grade, was declared wrong."

After the announcement was read, everyone took their eyes off me. They must be satisfied because I'm sure they'd be happier if I was dropped out than Amazawa.

Unfortunately, their pleasure only lasted for a moment. The first rank is not my name, Amazawa, or Ishigami.

Amazawa is ranked fourth, while Ishigami is ranked fifth. I myself who seems to think they are in the top rank is actually in the opposite rank.

"I-i-ichiji Ivy.. Last rankings?!"

I'm sorry I wiped your smiles off and made the atmosphere gripping. But in this way, we can start the show.
