POV CATHRINES

I am Cathrine Pavolia the second son of the emperor Dierez Pavolia, my own father was a much-loved and feared emperor of the Dracanian empire. He possessed extremely powerful magic power as well as countless elite troops making him able to take control of half of the Ezernel continent.

At that time I did not intentionally tell anyone to get out of the palace for a walk in the forest. However, I was not alone, as some elite soldiers I had brought along and one of them was Avitus, my small guard, so I felt safe.

However, there seemed to be one of the traitors among the guards, making the information about me coming out of the palace sound in the ears of the Dark Light organization.

The Dark Light members disguised themselves as ordinary bandits, making the soldiers I brought more relaxed when fighting them, and it gives them the opportunity to kill the soldiers I brought easier.

Dozens of elite soldiers that I brought along also fell into disarray.

"Did you know, I'm Daniel Padilla a regular guy." Daniel replied to Cathrine while kissing her right hand.

The soldiers in the back who saw Cathrine were also visibly annoyed at what Daniel was doing, even though he was his savior it was not something a stranger should do to a princess.

Even so, turning around with Cathrine, the face looks flushed when Daniel did so. Cathrine was unable to hide her current expression, making Avitus who was beside her quite embarrassed.

"What's up with—" When Daniel wanted to hold Cathrine's forehead, Avitus immediately pulled out his sword making Daniel stop right in front of his chin.

"Please be polite to the princess, I know you are pen—"

"What you do Avitus, he is our helper, what you mean, recline your sword now "Cathrine immediately cut off Avitus' words by shouting at Avitus.

"I'm sorry if it bothers you, princess." Daniel said as he pulled his hand back.

Seeing that Catherine also looked disappointed and immediately looked at Avitus with a sharp gaze as if to say if he would punish her later.

"Consider, even if you say an ordinary man I can feel if you are a noble man, isn't that so Daniel Padilla ?" Catherine asked with a smile.

Daniel did not answer at all and just bowed his head and returned Cathrine's smile. Seeing this, Cathrine felt that she was saying something wrong and immediately panicked for fear of offending Daniel, thinking that Daniel was a noble boy who was thrown out.

"Not to worry so much, princess." Daniel said the sentence while smiling again at him after seeing Cathrine who was panicking.

"Not so," she said as she began to bow her head, "And if you will, I want you to call me Cathrine or Rine daja."

"Isn't that a little rude princess?"

"Not at all, I want you to be more relaxed with me."

"If that's what you want, what about Rine? isn't that a beautiful call?

"Alright." he replied with a shy blush.

Ai also said that after I got acquainted with Cathrine, it was likely one of the newest system features after I leveled up a while ago.

"Didn't I tell you I'd be adventuring alone, I don't want to take anyone with me."

"Of course I'll accept that." He somehow smiled broadly with my answer.
