SKKM CHAPTER 24 - To The Palace

Grace saw Lurika who was packing her belongings, she had already been told that she would be taken to the palace by Izek.

They just moved now have to move again and adapt.

Grace could only link her fingers, she was downcast for not knowing what to do.

"In the palace many beautiful scenery, Miss can paint freely there," said Lurika who broke the girl's daydream.

Lurika then approached and tried to persuade Grace. "I'll be there too, Miss!"

That day, Giel came with some people to pick up Grace and Lurika.

They went to De Servant's palace where Izek had gathered the palace residents to announce something.

"My betrothed will come here and stay here so you must treat her well!" Izek's Order.

From a distance Akash heard Izek's words, he screeched because Izek brought Grace to the palace.

Inside the room, Izek lowered Grace's body. He asked the girl to look at his new room.

"More than your old room, here you can paint freely" Izek said.

Grace's eyes continued to scan every corner of the room despite being luxurious and spacious but she felt very foreign. He's more comfortable in the old house.

"How's it?" Izek asked as he grabbed the girl's chin. She couldn't help but snatch Grace's lips which kept teasing her.

As she was about to kiss Grace, the door opened and Izzy, who had just heard about Grace, messed things up.

"Before kissing your mistress you better explain everything to me, sister," Izzy said.

Izek did not kiss her because she was hiding on her back. That girl must be ashamed and scared.

"His name is Grace, she'll stay here" Izek explained briefly.

Izek then asks Grace to appear in front of Izzy. "You guys met the other day, his name's Izzy, he's my brother. You'll learn a lot from him!"

"At least explain the origin, brother," demanded Izzy.

Of course Izek did not want to tell Grace's origin to Izzy, the most important thing is that her girl is safe with him. Next he will think about it later.

And Izzy relented because he saw Grace who was scared, especially the girl could not speak.

"Don't be afraid, I'm not evil" Izzy said. She approaches Grace but the girl squeezes Izek's shirt.

"It's okay, Izzy just wants to get acquainted." Izek also tried to persuade Grace, she tried to take off Grace's hand which squeezed her shirt and then she held it.

"His body is so thin Izzy, give him treatment and also teach him women's affairs," Izek pinta told his sister.

"What happened to him, brother?" ask Izzy who is still curious.

But, he hurriedly threw away the thought of not wanting to suppress Grace.

"Grace has a private servant named Lurika, she's going to stay at the palace. He had only known Lurika all this time," Izek explained.

Hearing that, Izzy calls Abby to come in so that the butler also knows Grace.

Abby came in with an Izzy birdcage with her.

"His name is Abby, he's the butler of this palace" Izzy said, introducing Abby.

Grace begins to fear no more as her attention switches to the bird Abby is carrying. The girl knew the name of the bird because as a child she often played with Horus birds.

"You like it?" ask Izzy.

Grace nods her head and Izzy asks Abby to give it to the girl.

"If you want, you can take care of him" Izzy said.

"Where did you find the Horus bird?" ask Izek full of probes. "I thought the bird was rare!"

"Etnel found it and it looks like a poacher has entered the forest of De Servant. Etnel and I are going to investigate that so I can't look after Grace all the time" Izzy explained.

"Grace can paint in his room, you make sure he gets the best service and care" Izek said.

"All right." Izzy.

Before leaving Grace's room, Izzy gives her Horus bird to the girl, at least there is something Grace likes that makes her not afraid.

It was evident that Grace's smile continued to expand because she was playing with the bird.

"I have Etnel. If Brother Izek doesn't want to tell you who Grace is, I'll find out for myself" Izzy's inner self.

She passed out of Grace's room, but when she came out, Ruzel was still at the door.

"It's better to disperse everything" said Izzy.

Ruzel disbanded his men then the man walked alone with Izzy in the corridors of the palace.

"As usual, Izek did not tell me in detail and it made me curious" said Izzy.

"It feels like everyone is curious, too" said Ruzel.

Everyone also knows how cold Izek is in women. Until ascending the throne Queen's seat is still empty and there are no candidates who occupy it.

"Seeing from anywhere, Grace will not be able to become Queen" said Izzy, who assessed how weak Grace was.
