SKKM CHAPTER 9 - Determination of Grace

Izek was actually still upset with Draco but considering that his father always thought long before acting, Izek chose to listen to his father's explanation about Grace.

"I brought Grace into town if mom and dad decide to stay in the mansion, don't see her" Izek said later.

"Are you afraid your mother will find out?" Draco asked like that.

"Dad's goal was to hide Grace for ten years, wasn't one of them because of mom?" Izek asked so.

Draco shook his head. "If I spoke to your mother from the beginning, I'm sure Ellen will accept Grace as her child. Your mother wasn't a big shot and she knew how I was all along!"

"If Grace had lived in De Servant from the beginning, her life would have been no different from her life in her village!"

Izek recalled the lash marks on Grace's back. Maybe it is true what Draco said if from the beginning Grace lived in De Servant must have been many parties who did not agree especially Grace could not talk if anyone intended to harm him surely he could not ask justjust please. Or Grace's life is gone and no one knows.

"Grace's grown up, he's your responsibility now. You can prepare her to be Queen or free her out there" Draco added.

"It's a tough choice, he's so fragile" commented Izek, who has several interactions with Grace.

Draco raises both shoulders. "I think you're softer than me!"

"I plan to develop his talent so that he can be independent" Izek said later.

"Didn't you want to return the voice and hear everything straight from his mouth? It seems like she's hiding something that scares her, Lurika often tells Grace she'll be moody if she remembers that." Draco tries to remember what Lurika said to Patrick.

Somehow hearing that, Izek became unsettled because for the man Grace was a sweet innocent cat.

After talking to Draco, Izek couldn't sleep that night. He so thought about whether his actions bringing Grace to De Servant was the right decision?

"I have to see him again tomorrow" Izek muttered.

The same thing that Grace felt, the girl could not sleep because she was living in a new place. Grace was not used to it, she got restless and scared.

He wanted to wake Lurika up but seeing that the servant was fast asleep, he could not bear to.

Grace also peeked out the window. The state of De Servant city is full of lights at night, Grace so curious to see the city but some of her there is also a deep fear.

I want to see him tomorrow

Last night Grace did not sleep, she waited for Lurika to wake up and had the maid accompany her around the city of De Servant.

"Does Miss want to go to the market?" asked Lurika that morning.

Grace immediately nodded her head and Lurika did not want to refuse because she knew that Grace was waiting for her to wake up.

"Alright, wear a coat because it's cold outside" said Lurika who was followed by Grace.

They go to the market, Grace brings the money and gives Lurika to shop.

Grace was amazed to see the city of De Servant, the situation there was very different from the village before.

"Miss, what do you want to eat?" tanya Lurika who brought Grace to the modern market De Servant.

The market whose average seller is a former mafia. They use technology when selling.

The buyer only needs to squeeze anything that he wants to buy and then put his money in the machine.

Before long all the groceries have been packed and live lift.

"So long as Miss wants to shop by herself, this is how" said Lurika while teaching Grace.

Grace was silent in front of the machine, she could not even read and write. He felt like he was wasting his life hiding all this time.
