THE LAST

THE LAST
7. Reunite

Arga's phone vibrated again. Reza contacted Arga again after some of his messages were ignored by his superiors. Arga stared at the screen of his phone, reluctant to take the call and let his phone not vibrate anymore. He put his cell phone in his pants pocket. He decided to go back to his office.

When he turned around, Arga's body again hit someone who passed in front of him as his gaze still swept over every corner of the mall. So he wasn't focused on what was in front of him.

"Ouch!" a woman who was hit by Arga.

She saw the woman shaking her hand cleaning her shirt. He felt something warm and wet through his shirt and into his stomach. Then looked down at his shirt that felt warm. A coffee?

Spontaneous Arga flicked his hands to reduce the wet taste and coffee stains that stuck on his shirt.

"Sorry Mas, his shirt was spilled by coffee too" said the woman as she handed the tissue to Arga.

"That's nothing, it's dry for a while" replied Arga who received a tissue thread without looking at the woman, still trying to wipe and clean her shirt.

The woman was still holding out a tissue to Arga when the tissue Arga was holding was wet and dirty. Until it felt enough, Arga also turned his gaze toward the woman earlier.

"Thank you" he said.

"I'm the one who apologizes because I'm not focused so hit Mba" he continued.

Deg.

His heart skipped a beat and his blood rippled as the woman standing in front of him raised her face. Arga just realized the woman who had just stretched a tissue to him was the figure he was looking for earlier.

"Hania." he murmured inwardly.

His eyes continued to stare at the woman in front of him with a feeling of relief. Not blinked. As if he was afraid, if the blinking of the woman would disappear. Unknowingly his smile expanded. That smile was contagious to the woman in front of him.

"Yes, equally, I'm in a hurry too, not careful" said Hania.

"Then excuse me Mas." continued Hania after seeing the watch on her left wrist and then move will leave Arga. The handsome man was trying to hold her back.

Drrt.

It's not just Arga's phone that vibrates. It turned out that at the same time Hania's phone was also vibrating. Hania reached into her cell phone from inside her bag. The two receive each other's calls and impulsively make the same move, moving away from each other.

"Otherwise Rez?" annoyed Arga because his Assistant was contacting him constantly.

"Hum." muttered Arga in response to Reza's report.

"I'm on the way!" break up Arga after getting pushed.

Hania, the rabbit-eyed woman who for a few weeks made Arga restless was no longer there. The woman disappeared. Sure enough if Arga turned his gaze away, the woman disappeared. Arga. Ruffled hair. He was angry because he always missed chasing the woman.

Upon arriving at his office, Arga found the mother had sat down sweetly not understanding his arrival.

"Mother?" greet Arga, then extend his hand.

The mother who was reading the business magazine available in Arga's room raised her head. Stretching out the hand that welcomed Arga's hand. Arga kissed his mother's hand with reverence. Then he sat himself to the left of the Mother.

"What's wrong, ma'am? Why bother coming here? If there's a need to call me home." asked Arga.

"Mom knows you're busy, besides I want to enjoy another atmosphere. I'm bored at home." explained the mother.

"Oh yeah, why didn't you see Malika yesterday?" ask the Mother.

"It's hard for me to persuade the Malika to want to know you." said the mother.

"If it's a good girl, good manners are parents, loving, intelligent.." continued the mother.

Arga just listened without wanting to argue every time the mother praised the beautiful women introduced to her.

"Mom, I told you, don't want to know me as the women, I can find my own prospective escort if I really want a companion." explained Arga.

"You always say that, find it for yourself!" lamented the Mother.

Arga could only smile in response to the mother's protest.

"What kind of woman are you looking for?" ask the Mother.

Arga himself does not know what kind of woman is the criterion. If you can choose, of course, he wants a good and loyal woman. The woman he felt fit in his heart. To date, there has not been a single woman like that. Which fit in his heart.

"I also don't know, Mom, I haven't seen you. Later if I want to dance, I'll find it." said Arga.

"But for now, I really want to be alone. I'm trying to enjoy my own life, Mom." continued Arga, holding her hand.

"Yes, but when is Ga?" ask the mother.

The mother knows very well how Arga lives after divorcing Riska, her former daughter-in-law. And that condition was made worse by the passing of Devan, his favorite good-looking grandson.

The heart of the mother who is not filled and broken sees her only child falling. Falling so deep in a pool of memories full of wounds. The mother remembered, Arga who was always excited and positive changed into a completely different person.

The days of his son turned dark, always bad to think of anyone including the mother. Always shut yourself in the room. His optimistic attitude dimmed and even disappeared, his life spirit was lost, returning home late in a state of heavy drunkenness. Fortunately there was always Reza, his trusted assistant who always faithfully accompanied his superior.

My mother was grateful at that time. Grateful Arga did not think of ending his life. Seeing Arga's condition at that time, it felt Arga could not possibly rise again. Imagining her son's past made the mother sigh.

Arga knows the wishes of the mother. He who is an only child who is very mature is expected to give offspring.

Arga smiled then shook his head. He himself did not know until when his heart was ready to open to receive another love. His heart was frozen. So wounded. He did not want his heart to be hurt again so he did not want to quickly open up. Right now, he was comfortable on his own.

Although comfortable with his current life, Arga admits the presence of the rabbit-eyed woman he met some time ago has really disturbed his calm.

The rabbit's eyes really caught his attention. Today, it was almost just that the woman was grasped. Unknowingly she smiled. The sweet fluffy smile on Arga's lips did not go unnoticed by the mother.

"You mikrin what?" the mother asked, looking at her son with a smile.

"Thinking of Mother's wishes." answered Arga's origin.

"That's it!" the mother throbbed, Arga smiled as she shook her head.

Tok to tok.

There was a knock on the door of Arga's room. Soon, an office girl came in with a tray containing a bowl of rib soup, a serving of crispy shrimp cheese sauce, 2 dishes of white rice, and 2 glasses of soursop juice. Earlier, before heading to the office Arga the mother first ordered the food from a restaurant that is now a subscription.

"Mom hasn't had lunch?" ask Arga.

"Why is the message so much?" Arga frowned.

Instead of answering Arga's question, the mother placed a plate of white rice in front of Arga. Arga let out his breath.

"I've eaten Ma'am, I've been with a client" Arga refused.

"It's how you try this" said the mother thrust a bowl of rib soup in front of Arga while sliding the plate containing white rice earlier.

"Lady..." Arga was going to refuse but the mother forced him until Arga was forced to sip the rib soup.

"Enak." Inner Arga.

Then feed the ribs and asparagus into his mouth voraciously. Know it's over.

"Nake?" asked the mother to sneer at Arga.

Ja. Arga admitted the food he had just eaten fit on his tongue. His eyes glanced at the food packaging box that was there.

"Boy?" read it in the heart.

"More times Dian had to reserve a place there to meet clients" he thought.

After the rest of their food was cleared, Arga was again busy with her work. The mother immediately left Arga's office when her friends contacted her cell phone.

The circular watch on Arga's left hand shows 5 fewer numbers. It's past her office hours, but Arga still hasn't moved from her seat. His eyes were still focused on his laptop screen. Researching the lines of sentences that have been neatly arranged.

Tok to tok.

The knock on the door of Arga's room sounded so loud the silence of the room. Then came Reza's sweet face from behind the door. Walk close to the desk of the superior while carrying a stack of files that must be signed.

"What's today?" ask Arga whose focus has been shifted to the pile of files on his desk.

"Father can sign it at home" replied Reza.

Arga looked towards his watch. It was almost 1 hour past the end of its working hours.

"Ah, it's afternoon apparently" he said while stretching his tired body.

"You haven't come home yet?" ask Arga to Reza who is still in the office.

Reza is still in the office until after work hours. The file he is working on must be signed immediately by his superiors. He was indeed a hard worker who impressed his superiors.

"After this I will go home, sir. Do you want me to drive you?" reza answered and offered his superior his services.

Arga just shook his head. Then lean his body on the back of the chair. He still refuses to go home.

"You go first." he ordered.

"I still want to finish this first" he continued, pointing to his laptop.

"Then I go home first, sir, good afternoon." said Reza, who was taken by Arga.

Arga is still in a comfortable position that rests on the back of his soft chair.
