THE LAST

THE LAST
9. Unsettling

"You're teasing me? Your lips are so able to make me khilaf lo." seduced Galih then chuckled again.

Hania threw the tissue she had been squeezing towards Galih. Face blushing. He remembered Galih had kissed him passionately. While carrying the dirty dishes Hania left Galih who was still chuckling.

The night got late. Exactly at 9 o'clock, Galih resigned. Hania stared at Galih's departure until it was lost around the corner.

"I'll be lonely later." murmured Hania.

"Ah, just realized that I was too dependent on you" he continued monologuing in the heart.

His head stared at the dark star-studded sky. He's sighing.

Feeling the increasingly piercing cold made Hania tighten her hand. He still refuses to go from there. His rabbit eyes swept around the compound of his house.

Slender. Just the sound of the leaves rubbing against each other, ****** wind that was blowing rather strongly that night, the roar of the engine of vehicles that occasionally passed, crickets, beetles, birds? Huh, why think of such a thing?

Long enough Hania dissolved in her mind that was hovering. Suddenly the shadow of the handsome man's face he had met at his best friend's wedding party some time ago, and also twice colliding with him flashed arbitrarily in his mind. The sharp gaze of his eyes that always looked at him fixedly as if scanning him made him uncomfortable as well as pounding. Her smile as sweet as honey always rubbed on her and warmed her up.

"Ah, what is this feeling?" inner Hania while holding her chest.

Hania looked back at the star-studded dark sky. Sighs. And release it slowly with your eyes closed. Trying to fill his lung cavity that feels tight.

Although Hania still wanted to be there because she felt calm with such a quiet atmosphere, but drowsiness that increasingly mastered it, and also fatigue after a heavy activity all day, pushing Hania to move also into her house.

Meanwhile, Arga who just arrived at his house suddenly felt lonely. The lights are still bright. He stands in the middle of the living room that blends with the family room, sweeping every corner of his minimalist 2-story house. Although minimalist but Arga house building is quite large.

The house was only inhabited by him, Bi Sumi, Bi Lastri, and Mang Diman, the driver who also doubles as a gardener. What is certain is that 3 residents other than himself cannot be active in his house. They prefer to spend their free time in their respective rooms and backyards, and only step on the front of the house when cleaning it.

In the past, he bought this house to forget all the bad memories that happened. I hope good memories are made in my new home. Ja. Slowly began to rise after a long time of self-destruction. He was able to create a quiet life with his solitude. And Hania? Heh. The beautiful rabbit-eyed woman even casually disturbed the calmness of Arga.

I don't know. Ever since Arga met with Hania, the rabbit-eyed beauty seemed to disturb the calmness of her life. He who was comfortable with his own life, suddenly felt lonely again.

"Ah, Hania." he sighed.

"Mas Arga's home yet?" welcome Bi Sumi to disperse Arga reverie.

Arga turned his head towards Bi Sumi who was walking towards him. Bi Sumi had intended to save the dinner she prepared for her employer who was still in the dining table.

"Mas Arga has eaten? Aunt get ready now, will you?" tawar Bi Sumi's.

"No need Bi, I ate earlier. Aunty rest it's night." reject Arga who is possessed by Bi Sumi.

Shuffling her hair, Arga stepped up the stairs to the 2nd floor towards her room leaving Bi Sumi who was still busy storing food into the refrigerator. It feels so tired. Plus the curiosity that is almost complete but back must be delayed. It was like sneezing but not sneezing either. Aarrrgh!

Recalling some of those unexpected encounters with Hania, Arga sighed. He missed 2 chances to get to know the woman. If this is the case, what should it be? Why was it as if time did not allow him to know that rabbit-eyed beautiful woman who was troubling him?

Arga soaked his tired body in warm water. Relaxes him. His body feels good. But his heart is still broken? The rabbit-eyed beautiful woman had already distracted her. Who exactly is he? Why do I seem to know him? He closed his eyes trying to dig his memory back. The shadow of Hania's face became increasingly clear in her closed eyes. Frustrated him.

After changing her pajamas, Arga breaks down her tired body, deciding to go to bed soon. Forgetting the work he brought home. He sure will not focus on doing it which will add fatigue later.

But his expectations were not directly proportional to his wishes. In fact, until the digital clock that sits sweetly on the nightstand has shown the number 2 right, Arga is still awake. His eyes were bright as a 100-watt floodlight. I don't know where the drowsiness that was swirling spoiled.

"Ah, Hania, what is your reaction if you know I can't sleep because you think that I don't even know?", muttered Arga while chuckling.

"Will you remember me when we meet again? I hope 2 times we collide, will leave an impression on you", he murmured again.

Ja. Arga remembers how Hania reacted the second time they collided. The beautiful woman's attitude was calm. Only occasionally did his rounded eyeballs show his shock. Or her frown that is wrinkled because it may be trying to think or remember something. And sometimes smile. Arga could not guess the beautiful woman's mind.

Drowsiness that seemed to be getting away, making Arga rise again from the soft and comfortable bed. In the past, the bed never let Arga down. So that the sticky directly molor. That's the term Arga. But the last couple of nights, that bed didn't show her shit.

Arga opened a large glass door that was connected to the balcony of his room. Standing there for a moment while circulating his gaze, then stepped towards the balcony railing. He saw a dark sky with stars.

"Where should I go? Even we never get to know the truth", his monologue.

"Even I know your name by chance" he chuckled.

"See, once we meet I'll make sure you're responsible. You have upset my calmness, made me uncomfortable and again feel lonely in my solitude", he lamented.

"I'll make sure we get acquainted later." he thought again.

Arga ruffled her hair with one hand and one hand on her waist. Turn his eyes down.

Slender. Just the sound of the leaves rubbing against each other, ****** wind that was blowing rather strongly that night, the roar of the engine of vehicles that occasionally passed, crickets, beetles, birds? Huh, why think of such a thing?

Long enough Arga stood on the balcony of his room with all his thoughts floating around thinking of Hania. He sighed again and shook his head. Why is she so curious about Hania, the beautiful rabbit-eyed woman? Why did he feel familiar with that woman? Why did he want to pursue her so much and get to know her? The huft! Arga really doesn't understand his feelings.

The cold began to creep in. His head looked back at the star-studded sky.

"May we meet again Hania." he muttered expectantly.

The thought that passed by slowly made his eyes soft. The sleepiness started approaching him again. Arga went back into his room. Re-spreading his body and of course his tired mind.

"Good night Hania." he muttered.

Arga falls asleep with various plans for Hania.
