The Last Ruler: The Return of the Goddess

The Last Ruler: The Return of the Goddess
Together

Two days after the incident, this time Altair and the others resumed their journey after a long time stopped at Derrick's place. Although it was indeed not a journey that had a purpose, at least for Altair.

They left town a few hours ago. But on the journey they started now, things were a little different. And that is....

" I still can't believe why you're on this trip." Israhi wondered at being astonished by the person next to her at this moment.

While the person next to him, Derrick, was heard snorting because of his words. " uh. Do you think I'll let Altair go with you just like that." she said with a cynical tone inside of her.

The two people began to look at each other again with dislike for each other, while behind them, Yi just held his head feeling dizzy and shook his head because of their childish nature. But it seems like it's interesting for Altair..

" Oh my goodness, do you always fight if you meet Israhi??" he asked curiously about it. He shouldn't have asked.

And those who heard him turned to him, Israhi was the first to dream of it. " No, if this guy can act like he's who I know" he said, pointing at Derrick with his finger.

" Really??"

" ha's. What's wrong with my attitude? I just couldn't trust Altair to someone like you." Derrick mediated with a sharp look.

" Why Israhi??"

" Oh, don't you have a guild of your own to take care of, master chairman?"

" At least I have a steady job. After all, the guild is still running even if I'm not there, my subordinates are reliable."

" Look who's talking, it's irresponsible."

" You should look at yourself first before judging others, dungeon boy."

And as you can see, the debate between the two men continues to the degree that they may be able to fight each other. While the others were just staring at it with an uneasy expression on their faces...

Except for Altair who was confused by this situation, and Mira who supported the fight.

But before it actually happened, Aksa first mediated. " Alright, gentlemen. Stop this useless thing and just do something useful." he said as he pushed each one of the cheeks from the two men until their heads turned in the other direction.

" You guys definitely don't want me to ask Altair to leave you, do you??" threaten her with a cold expression and a smile that restrains resentment.

" Uhh..."

The two people finally could only resign, Aksa would definitely do what he said. So they must follow their will..

And what was done by him, managed to make the others amazed. Even Mira clapped her hands with it..

" Cool, I don't think he can be like that" Mira said.

" I'm the same." said Remilia.

" Well, whatever it is." said Altair then hang his words, and he immediately jumped hugging Derrick's neck from behind. " ...I'm glad Derrick's coming with us!" he said continuing his words.

He was very happy with that..

It made the others smile happily, on the other hand, Israhi just snorted because of it.

They finally began to continue the journey calmly and joyfully...

While on a hill, without them knowing... There was someone watching them from a distance. He was a man, with a hat high above his head and a smiling white mask and tears on his left side.

Instead, he looked at Altair...

Then he took off his mask. The wind blows there blowing her short brown hair, and both her sharp green eyes have unique pupils with cross shapes. The man smiled mysteriously and said...

" I have to investigate it further, I hope Atar won't be too intrusive in the future..."

A few days passed since they re-started their journey from the main point. The Israhi group walked eastward to visit the village which he said was well visited during the summer because of the cool air and beautiful blue lake views. Where there are many beautiful places to see there.

Their journey was still long enough to arrive, but Altair felt tired first. So Derrick carried him for the rest of the way, and Altair fell peacefully on his back.

" A... He looks like a cute little boy." said Remilia when she saw Altair sleeping on Derrick's back.

When then Aksa also said, "Where is a baby as big as him" he said which made Remilia look at him annoyed.

" I said it looks similar, doesn't mean it's a baby!."

" ahahahah... Alright, alright. Sorry."

Aksa just immediately apologized to him, as Remilia raised her clenched hand strongly in annoyance.

Remilia became easily angered by something related to Altair now, she was really like a sister-complex.

Their steps were stopped when Derrick and Israhi, who were walking ahead, stopped them.

" Hm? What's up?" ask Aksa to see that.

While the two people were watching the surroundings vigilantly...

" Do you feel like there's something different here??" Derrick then asked.

Remilia and Aksa who heard that looked at each other, then looked around them in confusion and shook their heads.

Yi beside them then chimed in, "Yes. The temperature in this place began to fall unnaturally" he said.

" His temperature??" Aksa and Remilia also said simultaneously questioning it.

Mira who was behind came forward and explained, "The temperature changes, but it's summer but the air why is it cold, huh??" said it.

" Ah, come to think of it that it bothers me, the cold air is starting to make me shiver." Remilia who started to realize that then said so.

" There's something strange about this place. Israhi, you know what??"

Israhi who heard the question then shook her head, "No. I don't know." And he answered like that.

" Up.." then their attention was turned to the voice. Altair frowned looking uncomfortable and finally woke up... " Uhh... Why cold??" ask her while rubbing her right eye.

" Any, you're awake.."

" Sister Derrick... Huh??" altair's speech came to a halt when something white fell on his nose and it felt cold.

He then turned his head up along with the others as well, when there were many other white objects also came back down from the sky.

" Snow..."
