After Tian Lei's fight with Du Heng Luo had finished and Tian Lei had fainted unconscious, Ni Xien and Yu'er brought Tian Lei to the qingya city, the nearest small town from where they were.
During this time, they had invited some famous healers from that city to try to cure Tian Lei, but none of them could cure Tian Lei.
They had concluded that Tian Lei's spiritual energy pathway had broken off because it had forced a great power that was unacceptable to Tian Lei's body.
If putting aside Tian Lei who still had a slight breath and heartbeat, the current Tian Lei was no different from someone who had died.
Ni Xien had also used his strength several times to check Tian Lei's state of spiritual energy, and he discovered that Tian Lei's spiritual energy had disappeared.

Tian Lei looked at the familiar girl in surprise.

Tian Lei looked back at Yu'er who was still lying next to him with a bitter smile, then he took pains to gulp his saliva.

Why would I sleep with him?

Tian Lei's head was again filled with thoughts that he shouldn't have thought so much of, but after all it was an unusual thing for him who had never slept with a single woman.
"Haha, boy, don't think too much. I told the girl to sleep here because my house doesn't have a lot of room, even her brother has to sleep in a chair. Besides, you're in a fainting state, so it's not gonna be anything..." The voice of an old man sounded from the room.
An old man in simple clothes and his gray hair slowly walked into the room with a bowl filled with medicine inside, and it was certainly medicine for Tian Lei.
Tian Lei looked at the curious old man, he raised his eyebrows then asked. "Who are you?"
The old man only smiled, he and Tian Lei then directed his gaze towards Yu'er.
Yu'er then smiled towards Tian Lei. "Sister Tian Lei, I forgot to tell you. This is Yao's grandfather. He was the healer who took care of you all this time. Previously we were at an inn in the city, but grandfather Yao suggested to move here so that he could perform healing more comfortably..." Yu'er explained and was well listened to by Tian Lei.
Tian Lei tried to bend over at his place while holding onto his chest as the pain started to feel again.
"Thank you for helping me heal..." Said Tian Lei politely.
Grandfather Yao then closed his eyes with a serious look, he stroked his long beard then placed the bowl he held on the table.
"Hm? Thank me? Don't be so quick to thank. You should check the state of your spiritual energy pathway first..." Grandpa Yao said seriously.
Tian Lei looked at Grandpa Yao with a tense and anxious look, he gulped his saliva then tried to sit cross-legged on the bed.
Tian Lei took a meditative stance then closed his eyes to check the condition of his body from within.
In an instant, his mouth had spit out fresh blood and made him cough.
Tian Lei spat out all that blood on the bed and made the clean bed filled with bloodstains.
