The Legend Of Immortal Phoenix

The Legend Of Immortal Phoenix
The Journey Begins

Given the closer the day of the young dragon tournament, the third match that brought Chau Li against Chui Dal Po was finally held behind closed doors. Chau Li became the winner and completed the representative quota of the sky sword sect, while for Wu Yi Feng and Shen Liang, the sect head was trying to bring the two together at once.

"I have sent a letter of appeal to the emperor, our time is getting wasted... Ling Han I'm sending the four of them to you.. Immediately take care of your departure on the administration, if I can I want you to leave tomorrow morning, before that accept this.. As an extra on the road." The sect master gave a storage ring that contained many gold coins.

"Okay, chief, thank you.. I retreat first.." Ling Han left the residence of the sect leader then rushed back to his house to prepare everything for the trip to the capital this time around.

Ling Han is a male figure over 50 years old who has been poor across the martial world, his experience need not be doubted anymore, at least the injuries all over his body as well as his left eye became proof that he had eaten the salt acid of life as a swordsman, and as one of the senior teachers in the sky sword sect, he was the one, he had also repeatedly carried out important missions that were charged to him.

With the ability in the realm of the holy swordsman who had managed to open his two holy gates, Ling Han became one of the main pillars of strength that propped up the sky sword sect in addition to the sect head and also the vice-chairman of the sect.

The next day Wu Yi Feng, Wang Fei Lin, Chau Li and also Ling Han were already preparing at the gate of the sect. They were waiting for Shen Liang who was preparing.

"Chau Li, let's see how Shen Liang is doing.. It is near noon, we must leave soon because time is short.." Ling Han's orders.

"Good teacher Ling.." Chau Li half ran towards the room of the male disciples.

Soon Chau Li returned with a letter that was apparently written by Shen Liang. "Hmmm.. Alright let's go first, Shen Liang will catch up with us at.." Said Ling Han.

The four of them would head to the imperial capital of Song on foot, because in addition to strengthening the foundation, it was also to train body lightening techniques. At least that was what Ling Han had in mind.

The trip this time will not take long because the distance between Ludong city and Xiang Yang city which became the capital of the Song empire itself is not too far away, and if taken by foot will take approximately seven to ten days, but if taken by horse riding it will save time up to three days.

Wang Fei Lin looked the most excited because he was finally able to return to the mission together with Wu Yi Feng, the beautiful girl was also more active in practicing alone in silence - silent because she did not want to be a burden on the trip this time.

"Fei Lin, are you okay - what?? I've noticed you're always smiling." Cletuk Chau Li's.

"Be quiet and watch your way.." Wang Fei Lin replied while giving a deadly look.

"Maybe some days we have to stay on the side of the road because as far as I'm around here there are no villages.." Said Ling Han who got Wu Yi Feng's nod.

"We better speed up our steps so that we can reach the main road before nightfall.."

Indeed, after leaving Ludong, Ling Han chose to take the shortest path to the Capital so that the four ran through the grasslands and forests and even around a mountain. This path is impossible to pass if using a horse or the person does not have the science of lightening the body high enough.

Ling Han was flabbergasted to realize that the body lightening science that his three students had mastered was apparently so great, with their current age still only touching their twenties, which was very good, then do not rule out the possibility in the future they will become great warriors.

A few hours later the four had found a large road, Ling Han said by continuing to follow this road then they would get to the Capital, but their journey could be said to be relatively long.

"It's better we spend the night here than to insist on running.. Chau Li you build a tent, Wu Yi Feng make a fireplace, and Fei Lin you prepare dinner." Lin Han gave orders to each of his students, while he checked the surrounding area.

"Usually the streets around here are always crowded because this is the main road if you want to go to the capital, but why is it so quiet at this time?" Chau Li muttered after finishing setting up two tents.

Meanwhile, Wu Yi Feng who was in charge of preparing groceries for dinner had just returned from hunting. In his hand there are now two forest chickens and one rabbit.

"Feng gege, I don't want to cook that rabbit. He's too funny.." Wang Fei Lin exclaimed as he took off the rabbit that Wu Yi Feng had painstakingly hunted.

The next night Wu Yi Feng took out two wine jars from his storage ring, the wine coming from the red restaurant was indeed different. Chau Li, Ling Han and Wu Yi Feng enjoyed the night quietly while for Wang Fei Lin, he warmed himself by drinking a pot of green dew tea.

The more night the air felt more bone-chilling because now it was included in the winter, Chau Li who got the first guard ration took a blanket from his storage ring and then enveloped himself.

An old man carrying a pile of grass passed in front of the group who was still resting, politely the old man patted Chau Li on the back who was asleep in front of the bonfire in a sitting position.

"Young man, if your aim is to head north.. I remind you, it'd be better if you turn. It will take longer but it's much more ravenous." His words then passed. Wu Yi Feng who had woken up only felt astonished by the warning spoken by the old man.

When the morning came the cuca had not improved, even the sun seemed embarrassed to show its light. Strong winds and small spots of snow made the morning feel even colder.

"Better we hurry, as far as I am not far from here there is a small village. If we're fast enough, I think we'll be able to reach that little village before the blizzard hits us." Ling Han told his three disciples after they cleared up the rest of the camp overnight.

Without wasting time the four of them immediately ran fast by fighting the strong wind and piercing cold.
