Assistant Ning: I Don't Understand

"She Laode, are you ready to fight?" Mao Yu asked.

"Of course, I'm always ready for all your commands." She Laode immediately answered Mao Yu's question.

The spacious and cold cave felt dark and quiet, with the air feeling cold and humid inside. The hard and rough stone walls limited the endless-looking room, while the high ceiling was very far away resembling a giant hall.

The dim light of the natural light source of the crystal stone attached to the cave wall, provides little illumination to the rough stone walls and sometimes there is water dripping from the roof of the cave.

The echoing sounds rang out from far away, creating a sense of mystery and silence that was almost overlooked. However, even though it feels lonely and haunted, the cave actually holds its own beauty.

If mortal people only come and visit for sightseeing here, the beauty in it is difficult to explain in words.

“Who is coming? What do you guys mean? Assistant Yu, what exactly is this happening?” Assistant Ning started to panic.

Assistant Ning felt as if a powerful magical energy was flowing from within the portal, making the hair on the back of her neck goosebumps. The air around the portal dropped drastically to a freezing cold, the atmosphere becoming unstable and frightening.

Although the portal was terrifying, Assistant Ning felt interested and curious, wanting to know where the portal was going to take away. He was able to see a vague shadow of a mysterious looking place within the portal, pulling himself to enter and explore further.

However, Assistant Ning saw the crowd becoming wary, somehow what happened to the big secret behind the portal. Hearing the conversation and seeing them prepare their weapons and exchange views, provide each other support, and prepare to attack. Ning's assistant made sure something dangerous would emerge from within the portal.

Assistant Ning looked at Auntie Bu's array flag continuously pressing down on the portal. Several times the portal narrows, expands again. Narrow down and then expand again. Simultaneously, Aunt Bu also cast unknown spells and talismans into the portal.

“Ah, What happened this? I honestly don't understand.” Assistant Ning started to panic and felt extremely frustrated.
