Inside the deepest prison of the Old Ancestral Fortress.

Prince Gu, a respected nobleman, has now been imprisoned and chained in a fortress prison. His condition is so heartbreaking.

Prince Gu was imprisoned in a dark and damp cell. The cell walls were made of cold, coarse stone, no windows or adequate ventilation.

The sunlight could not penetrate into the cell, so Prince Gu hardly ever saw during his captivity except for a few faint light crystals. The air inside the cell feels cold, moist and smelly. It makes it difficult to breathe comfortably in conditions of severe injury.

Prince Gu was chained in his cell. His legs were tied with heavy iron chains, so he could not walk or move freely. The chain made him very limited in his movements, and several chains pierced through his chest and arms.

Prince Gu's physical condition also deteriorated. Losing the horn shed almost two-thirds of its power. Made him a convict.

His hair was tangled and dirty, his body started to look thin and pale. The clothes he was wearing were almost destroyed and very dirty. Scars and bruises and burns were visible almost all over his body, reminiscent of the harsh treatment he received during the previous battle.

However, despite his extremely deteriorating condition, Prince Gu's invisible spirit was not broken. He stayed strong and tried to survive. He kept hoping to wait for the next troop to arrive to save him. So that he gets his freedom back and gets the justice that he should.

She Laode entered the prison cell and sat down in front of Prince Gu.

“Welcome to meet again in different conditions while we are up there. I'd like to talk to you about some things.” She Laode pointed her finger upwards. Here also his eyes glanced following the direction designated/

Prince Gu looked at She Laode suspiciously

“Talk as you please? What do you want and I will answer it in your dreams. Hahaha.” Prince Gu was suspicious, yet he still showed his arrogance.

“I want to dig more information about the case about heaven. I'd like to get your perspective as a ruler there. We are very kepo maybe you have information that can help us uncover some things.”

“If I have good news, on what basis should I disclose.” Prince Gu sneered.

“I understand your disposition in heaven. However, you here now are as a convict, you may have to learn a little what it means to know yourself.” She Laode smiled.

Prince Gu was more suspicious and his expression looked cautious

“Maybe this will make you fluent in speaking.” She Laode took out a yellow paper talisman with a random writing like a strange rune.

She Laode, flapping a unique yellow amulet. Then threw it into Prince Gu's forehead until it stuck. Under the condition of being chained, Prince Gu could do nothing but let the yellow talisman stick just like that on his forehead.

A magical phenomenon appeared, the runes emitting a momentary reddish glow.

“Prince Gu, Tell me how you guys came here ?” She Laode stared intently at Prince Gu.

Prince Gu was silent for quite a long time, until his empty eyes looked at She Laode who was standing in front of him.
