The Life Journey of NAURA

The Life Journey of NAURA
#172

Along the way, all the places passed, all of them were servants and bodyguards. They all stood up to greet Naura and Aaron. Even around the corner was the same, they all lined up neatly in a row. They are clearly well trained.

Naura quietly felt panicked, her face becoming a little serious.

The old house of the Ardinata Family was huge, Aaron and Naura passed through the front yard, walking through the living room to head to the backyard.

Grandpa Ardinata's age is advanced, he likes calmness. So, he moved to a quiet backyard.

When he arrived at Grandpa Ardinata's entrance, Aaron asked the servant who was standing at the entrance. "Is Grandpa inside?"

"Yes." Yeah." When the servant saw Aaron, a hint of joy on his face, he pushed the door lightly, and said cautiously. "Master, young master is back."

Naura could not look inside because the door gap was so small and it just happened to be enough for the maid to stand there. Then the voice of the old man. "Then let them in."

The waiter turned around and slightly nodded towards Aaron.

Aaron clasped Naura's hand tightly. "Let's go in."

Naura was brought into Grandpa Ardinata's room by Aaron.

The heating inside was quite enough, there was a slight scent of ink and tea, the furniture inside the room was also simple. There was a bookcase, a table, and several sets of tea cups.

Despite Grandpa Ardinata's age of over 70 years, he still looks very excited. He stood up straight, and his body displayed a calm and peaceful aura.

Aaron who was standing next to Naura called out to her. "Grandfather."

Grandfather Ardinata raised his gaze, and happened to be looking at Naura who kept looking at him. He did not say a word, but he looked very dignified.

Naura slightly lowered her eyes, and Aaron who was standing beside her pulled Naura behind her without saying anything.

Aaron's protective movement was seen by Grandpa Ardinata, and it made him snort. "Who's the girl?"

Aaron raised his eyebrows. "The one you want to meet."

Hearing Aaron's reply which sounded a little aggressive, made Grandpa Ardinata upset. He threw the pen in his hand. "Who are you?"

Naura: "..." 'Don't Grandpa be senile?'

As soon as that thought had just appeared in Naura's heart, Grandpa Ardinata who was standing there looked at her coldly. "Who are you saying senile?"

Naura was shocked by his words. 'Do these people from the Ardinata Family have the ability to interpret people's hearts?'

However, Grandpa Ardinata's vexation that was glaring at him didn't look so scary. Instead he felt as if there was a familiar feeling.

Naura smiled. "No. I just feel like grandpa has a good spirit aura."

Naura's speech was very influential for Grandpa Ardinata. He narrowed his eyes and stared at Naura for a few seconds. "You come here."

Naura looked over and looked at Aaron. Aaron gave a look as if he was telling her not to worry. He then pushed Naura's back very gently, hinting at her to go there.

Although the conversation between Grandpa Ardinata and Aaron is a little strange, but Naura can also feel that the relationship between Aaron and Grandpa Ardinata is quite good, it can even be said to be very close.

Naura walked over there on request, her face looked serious, and she said in seriousness. "Grandfather, I'm Naura, Aaron's wife."

Grandpa Ardinata did not speak immediately. He just looked at Naura calmly, and Naura was made to feel unsettled by her gaze.

Grandfather Ardinata seemed to see his anxiety, then smiled like a child who managed to prank the person on his face. Grandpa Ardinata smiled and said, "OK. You look beautiful. Sit down!"

Naura was stunned for a moment, and she wanted to turn her head to look at Aaron again, but Grandpa Ardinata glared at him. "Why are you even looking at that rancid boy! I tell you to sit down, then sit down!"

"..." - ".All right, he's sitting down.

However, when she heard Grandpa Ardinata calling Aaron "a rancid boy", she became very happy.

When Aaron saw her, he walked over there and sat down next to Naura. But he was kicked by Grandpa Ardinata. "Who told you to sit down!"

Grandpa Ardinata's kick was quick and incantational. His strength was clearly not light.

Naura who saw him could feel the pain, and Aaron's brows furrowed slightly, it was obvious that it was due to pain.

"Grandfather..." Aaron's tone sounded a little helpless. "This is the first time I've brought your granddaughter-in-law home, can't grandfather not give me a little face?"

"I give you face, but who will give me face?" Grandpa Ardinata was obviously angrier than him. "You count yourself, do you remember the last time you visited me in the old house?"

Aaron was silent when he heard Grandpa Ardinata's words.

The room became very quiet.

Naura slightly understood what the conversation between Aaron and Grandpa Ardinata meant just now.

Aaron suspected that his mother's case at the time was related to the Ardinata Family, so he was very unhappy with the Ardinata Family people. He also refused to return to the house of the Ardinata Family.

Naura today was first brought back to the old house by Aaron. Their business, he shouldn't interfere.

It just so happened that the door was opened again.

The one who came was Aaron's father, Faisal Ardinata.

Faisal Ardinata calls Grandpa Ardinata. "Dad."

Then he looked to Aaron. "Previous people called me and said Aaron was home, but I still couldn't believe it. Why don't you tell me you want to go home? Eat at home today and stay at home tonight. Your room is always cleaned by a waiter, so you can just take it."

Grandpa Ardinata immediately snorted. "Why tell him to stay?! Just let him go!"

……

In the end, Aaron and Naura stayed behind.

While eating, some people were sitting at the large dining table and beside there was a row of maids standing there. It made Naura feel uncomfortable.

After eating, Faisal had left first because of some business. Naura and Aaron accompany Grandpa Ardinata back to the room.

The waiter poured tea.

Grandpa Ardinata took an angpao and handed it to Naura.

Naura did not accept it right away.

Grandpa Ardinata glared at him. "Why? Don't you dare accept the gift of meeting from me?"

Naura finally knows where the arrogant temperament Aaron inherited from.

"Thank you, Grandpa." After Naura took it, she felt that the angpao was extremely thin. He figured in it it might be a check or something.

No matter what was inside, Naura felt a little surprised.

Before coming, he always thought that he would be complicated by grandfather. But he did not expect that Grandpa Ardinata accepted it so easily.

After accompanying Grandpa Ardinata to tea for a while, Naura and Aaron were sent back to the room to rest.

That room was where Aaron lived when he was a teenager. After the trouble that happened back then, he went abroad. After he returned, he did not return to the old house to stay, he immediately stayed in the house that was in the hills.

The furniture in the room still left traces of her teenage life. There are posters of basketball stars, robots, books, game consoles.
