Aaron's starting to get very busy. Busy to the point of not being able to take the time to eat with Naura. Many times when Naura wakes up in the morning, Aaron is gone or is in a hurry to leave.
When Naura comes home from work at night, Aaron still hasn't come home and overtime at the company. And when Aaron came home, Naura was either asleep or had woken up from sleep.
It continued for a week.
Naura thinks that Aaron will be taking a day off at the weekend, but when he wakes up in the morning at the weekend, he sees Aaron already wearing his suit and looking excited. Aaron seemed to have endless energy. He had been busy for a week in a row, but he still seemed to be very excited.
Naura picked up her phone and saw her face filled with fatigue through her phone screen.
He left work later than Aaron, and came home from work earlier than Aaron. But, he looked even more tired than Aaron.
If not for having been with Aaron for a long time, he would have even doubted that Aaron was not human.
Aaron heard the sound of movement, he turned to look at Naura as he lowered his head to set his cufflink and said, "I'm going to go to the company, you're going to sleep a little while longer."
His cufflink seemed like today was challenging him, he couldn't button it well.
Naura flicked up her blanket and sat down, then said in a weak waking up voice. "Come here!"
Aaron walked up to her and sat by the bed. He stretched out his arm in front of Naura and let Naura help button her cuff.
Aaron looked down, looking at Naura's white, tapering finger holding onto her dark-colored sleeve. After Naura finished helping him, Naura also helped tidy up her suit.
Aaron lowered his head and kissed Naura's forehead. "It's almost new year soon my work will become more relaxed."
Naura was silent for a moment and asked him. "Is Ardinata's company there so much to do?"
"Yes, a lot." In a heavy voice Aaron sounded a little tired and this was rare.
As soon as those words were finished being spoken by Aaron, the two fell silent.
Naura seemed to recall something and said, "Did you know Kairav's brother has returned?"
Aaron paused for a moment, then narrowed his eyes. "When's he coming back?"
"It was a few days ago. He also said he wanted to eat with us." This was the matter that Naura wanted to tell Aaron.
Aaron pondered for a moment, then said. "Tomorrow I'll be home from work early, make an appointment with brother to eat at Star Light."
"Good." Naura nodded her head and her sparkling eyes looked happy, finally being able to eat with Aaron.
...
The next day, Naura went to Star Light at six in the afternoon. Since Aaron said he would be eating at Star Light at seven, Naura left early. At home, there is no work either.
Naura arrives at Star Light at 6:40. He walked into the private room and behind him Kairav had just arrived.
Kairav did not see any Aaron inside, then asked Naura. "Aaron hasn't come yet?"
Naura sighed and replied, "Since she returned to Ardinata's company, she's always been busy even to see a shadow of herself just can't."
Naura's tone of voice sounded sad, unstoppable sadness.
Naura hasn't seen Samuel for a while, and she misses him. So he chatted with Kairav.
The two chatted while waiting for Aaron. But, Aaron still hasn't come either.
Time's past seven o'clock in the evening.
Aaron always keeps his word, he's not a person who is often late. But, he hasn't come yet, could something happen?
Naura called Aaron, but he turned it off. He tried to call her back, then he frowned because his phone was not picked up. His face looked a bit ugly.
Kairav who noticed him asked, "What's wrong?"
"No..." Naura pursed her lips and smiled with a slight faze. "Aaron hasn't come yet, I'm afraid it's because he's taking care of a lot of things in the company, so it's delayed. Let's order a meal first!"
Kairav pensively for a moment. He's come here not yet for dinner. If Aaron is stuck on something, it's definitely too late to come. Should she and Naura starve to wait for him? "We're trying to wait for him in a minute."
Until eight p.m., Naura decided not to wait for Aaron anymore. He asked Kairav to order food.
After the two of them finished eating, they drank tea before Aaron arrived late.
When Naura saw Aaron enter, she stared at the tea in the cup reluctantly looking at Aaron. He was angry when he saw it.
'Don't choose today if you don't have time! If it's busy, can't you call me for a minute?!' Naura grumbled in annoyance in heart.
Kairav poured a cup for Aaron and asked gently. "Is it too busy?"
Aaron sat next to Naura, as usual he put one hand behind Naura. The ownership is very clear.
Kairav's eyes were fixed on Aaron's arm for a few seconds, and then he retracted his gaze quickly.
"Still okay." Aaron grabbed the teacup and drank it out, then he glanced at Naura and asked. "Have you eaten?"
Kairav. "Yes. You haven't come yet, we've ordered food."
Aaron did not speak, only turned to look at Naura.
Naura pretended not to feel that Aaron was staring at her. He focused on his cup of tea.
'angry?' Inner Aaron.
Aaron turned to Kairav and said, "Well, I could have arrived earlier, but I had a small car accident on the road and my phone was broken."
Although Naura who was sitting beside him was pretending to ignore him, but her ears heard very clearly when Aaron spoke.
Naura looked at him and asked. "Are you okay?"
"It's okay." Aaron looked back at her with a smile on his face. "That's because someone else had a car accident, which caused a traffic jam, so I was late."
