Absolute North, one of the most dangerous places on the Douluo Continent. There are two reasons. The first is due to extreme weather conditions, too cold in the Absolute North as the entire region is covered with a blanket of frozen ice, which makes it almost impossible for anyone to survive in those freezing conditions.

The savage beasts born in the gloomy habitat were naturally stronger than ordinary ferocious beasts, while there were three extremely powerful ferocious beasts that ruled over the entire Absolute North, known as the Ice Emperor. This ice emperor was one of the strongest beings in the entire continent.

Ryusei was confident that he could deal with beasts other than these three Emperors in Absolute North. Even against the Ice Emperor, he was confident that he could escape with Rongrong safely. That was why he was brave enough to explore one of the most dangerous places on the continent.

After reaching the town near Absolute North, they sold their horses and started moving towards Absolute Domain. Ryusei covered Rongrong with a layer of Spirit Energy to protect him from the cold. Although her clothes prevented her body from the cold wind, she still felt the cold temperature as the breathing air felt like it was coming out of the freezer.

That was why, Ryusei used his Spirit Energy to disperse the cold from his body while protecting him from the cold simultaneously.

Surprisingly, he himself did not feel cold even in this extremely cold environment, even he felt rejuvenated. It was as if the entire region was supplying energy to Ryusei and converting the cold energy into his Spirit Energy.

"And this Howl sounds more like a signal for another wolf to ask for help. He did not want to slaughter the Spirit Beasts but he would not interfere in their fights. Not bad for getting benefits. He smiled and the two began to move closer to the source of the Wolf's howl.

It had the potential to become one of the strongest in the entire Absolute North compared to Ice Emperors, but it was currently too young and had recently broken through a 1000-year-old bottleneck. Right after the breakthrough, he was attacked by this greedy wolf and after a battle for half an hour, the Lion won, but the cowardly wolf howled to summon its allies.

The Lioned Ice Lion King was not an idiot, he had intelligence. He knew that it would not be able to fight against a pack of wolves, so turned to escape but the Ice Silver King Ice Ice Ice Ice Ice Ice Ice Ice Ice Ice's eyes shone with Blue Light and the Lion King's body froze for a moment.

Ryusei keenly observed this ability and noticed the state of the Lion King. He decided that the Wolf King was using his Spiritual Attribute Ability and was attacking the unprotected Lion King's soul. It was as if the Lion King was stunned.

He heaved a sigh of relief because he knew that it was indeed worth coming here because the Silver Ice Wolf King seemed to be two people connecting himself to Ice and Spiritual Attributes. Ryusei then quickly recorded the time it took for the Lion King to recover from that stunned state.

The Lion King remained petrified for nearly 5 seconds, this shocked him to the core as he stared intently at the Silver Ice Wolf King. He knew that it was only a 2000-year-old Spirit Beast, but it could actually make the Ice Ice Ice King wing for about a minute.

He then heard the sound of many footsteps from behind the Wolf King. Ryusei and Rongrong saw many wolves running towards the Lion King and Wolf King. Ryusei calculated the number of wolves, there were nearly 10 wolves that came as reinforcement for that single Silver Ice Wolf King.

The Lioned Ice Lion King recovered from the soul attack by the time another wolf arrived, and tried to escape by flying through the air so that it could outrun the wolf. It flew quickly and the wolf could not follow it in the air.

But the Silver Ice Wolf King who was trying to get his energy back until now, had been, it began to gather a large amount of ice energy in its mouth and unleashed a huge Ice Beam towards the Winged Ice Lion King with every ounce of Spirit Energy remaining. The Ice Lion King sensed the incoming attack and tried to dodge the attack by tilting itself to one side, but the Ice Beam was too fast and still grazed the Ice Lion King's wings.

The Ice Beams froze the left wing of the Winged Ice Lion King which caused the Lion King to fall to the ground creating a small crater. The Lion King was enraged by this attack and stared furiously at the Wolf while it released an extremely strange and formidable energy from its body.

Suddenly, a large amount of Ice Energy gathered and covered the Lion King's body. It jumped in the air. Wolves looked up and sensed danger as they jumped trying to dodge the attack.

The Ice Lion once again fell violently onto the ground and created a huge explosion around it, the Ice Energy covering the Lion broke apart and turned into a sharp pointed Icicle, hitting all 11 wolves in the vicinity.

All the wolves got hit by the ice, causing them heavy injuries. They started bleeding heavily from their wounds. Not only were the wolves in a bad condition, even the Winged Ice Lion King was seriously injured after falling twice to the ground.

His Spirit energy was also depleted and there were many wounds on his huge body. Even though it was on his last breath, it was still staring proudly at the dying wolf with a satisfied expression. That pride did not let him die alone, while the enemy benefited from his corpse. It felt peaceful knowing that he was bringing the enemy with him.

Ryusei shook his head when he knew that if the Lion died like this then his chances of leaving the Spirit Bone would be minimal. He turned towards Rongrong with an apologetic look and said gently in his ear, "Don't hate me for what I'm about to do."

Rongrong was surprised to hear his voice and looked at him confused as to what he meant by them. But he had already left before he could even speak.
