The Tree of Witness [William Vangeance]

A little girl in a simple dress smiled cheerfully when she saw a small white flower that looked beautiful when it bloomed, making her crouch down and stare at the flower happily, but a second later the flowers turned withered into a blackish color.

The little girl's face changed wryly, her eyes glazed over at that. His heart ached to see the flower die instantly. Then his attention was distracted when he heard the sound of roots moving along with the light he saw behind the building.

He stood up, and approached the light while hiding behind the wall with sparkling eyes, seeing the middle white-haired boy making the tree continue to grow bigger at*san**a.

He subconsciously approached the tree with attention to the distance while looking up amazed by the tree made from magic. His heart felt very happy, his lips slightly opened by his smile.

"Who?"

The little girl reflexively turned her head to hear the question and smiled. The white-haired little man with half his face covered in wounds, but he did not feel any fear at all looking at him and slowly approached him.

"Nii-san is great!! Nii-san can make a big tree!"

The little man scrunched his forehead looking at the happy face with sparkling eyes as his stretched hand described the size of the tree he saw.

"Thank you ..." Praise with a face that looked so happy made her feel happy and her heart warmed up. Unknowingly the little man held onto his chest and the corner of his lips rose to form a smile.

"Cong, Nii-san .... What's Nii-san's name?" The little girl asked as she looked up at the curious little man's eyes with hands clinging to each other behind her body.

"William Vangeance."

"Yoroshiku William Nii-san, My name is Y/n!" The little girl showed her rows of teeth by a wide smile.

"Yoroshiku, Y/n" he replied with a smile.

Again the little Y/n looked at the tree that William had made so closely, as if he did not want to take his eyes off for a second.

"Y/n, do you really like trees?"

"Yes, very!" Reply Y/n enthusiastically, then a second later her face turned sad and lowered her head, "But I can't get close to her."

"Why?" William slightly tilted his face and Y/n just shook his head slowly.

"Geeh!" Y/n who was still lowered his head, was startled when one of his arms was pulled to approach the tree.

"Then just touch the tree, or you can even ride it." William points Y/n's hand at the tree, making Y/n round his eyes.

"Don't William Nii-san! Stop that!" Y/n rebelled, but it was too late.

The tree with dense leaves turned blackish yellow and fell, the twigs that supported the leaves came down with a tree trunk that originally looked solid immediately turned black and brittle.

It made William speechless to see it, while Y/n his eyeballs were already glazed, his fingers clenched tightly until his nails turned white.

"Sorry ..." Lirih Y/n while looking down.

Hearing Y/n's trembling voice, it made William turn his head and his eyes rounded.

"Don't cry, Y/n." said William with a worried tone.

"Sorry William Nii-san! Sorry ..."

A tear from Y/n falls, and the little girl covers her face and crouches down, leaving William even more frantic not knowing what to do.

Memories of his past, memories of his first friend that made him smile. The promise he had to remember, the cheerful smile of the little girl who saw the magic of his world tree. The little girl who first made her heart warm from loneliness recalled the gaze of others who saw her.

Suddenly his heart was racing, his heart was stirred by a feeling he could not explain. A feeling that made his body tremble and smile as he remembered it. A feeling he never experienced, but he knew what it was.

"Ne, what are you thinking, Commander William?"

William flinched as a gasp of breath struck his face, making him reflexively open his eyes and collide with a beautiful black bead right before him.

William's quiet whisper right next to his ear made Y/n speechless. The man looked at his girl's blushing face without taking his eyes off.

"I didn't expect after a long time of not meeting, William Nii-san became the commander of the greatest army in the clover kingdom." Y/n smiled broadly with her left hand squeezing the robe she was wearing venting her nervousness.

"I also didn't expect you to register to become a magic knight."

"Why did you recruit me William Nii-san? Even though during the first test I couldn't use the broomstick you made because it was always destroyed when I held xixixi ..." Y/n laughs softly considering the funny incident he took the magic knight test.

Realizing that, William just smiled then led Y/n to stand up from his lap making the girl frown in confusion. Then he grasped the Y/n arm and walked out of the room.

Without much protest, Y/n followed in William's footsteps, until they were in the field where the members were training with a stretch of green grass.

Y/n looked up and saw no stars, only a bright moon hanging in the sky. He jerked into the chest of William's field and held it by the hand as his waist was hugged, while the man only smiled in response.

"Close your eyes, Y/n."

"Now open your eyes ..."

Y/n opened his eyes slowly, gnawing several times adjusting his gaze. What he saw made his eyes round and held his breath for a moment.

"You're a great girl, Y/n." Y/n did not take his eyes off as William whispered right in his ear. "Only you can destroy the magic of my world tree in an instant."
