Chapter 30: The Wedding Planned

“Today, exactly where did you run off as well? Instead of studying hard, why did you run away to another place?” Chu Ting’er held the bell with one hand, looking imposing and intimidating.

“Ehhh... Your son came out to play for a while, then went straight home.” Scratching his scalp, Ling Tian wore an innocent mask.

“Oh? Hahaha, playing for a while refers to the whole day? And think you still dare to say that you went straight home?” Chu Ting’er spoke, not knowing whether to laugh or get angry. Seeing how his son put on an indifferent face, it irritated him, but at the same time made him want to smile.

She reached out her hand to pinch her delicate cheek, and with that pinch, she affectionately pulled it into her chest. “Go and groom yourself well, and don't come out tomorrow, your wife will visit.”

“My wife?” Even with the memories of two lives, Ling Tian still felt his brain being destroyed. Where did this wife come from? In my two lives, I have always been a pure and untarnished little girl!

Nodding with certainty, he took the opportunity to pinch Ling Tian's face once again, “Ya, your wife, hahaha ... Tian’er I've been so big, how could he live without a wife?”

“...” Ling Tian is at a loss for words. If he did not misremember his appearance, right now he should still have the body of a five-year-old. Could early marriage and childbearing in ancient times actually be in such a condition?

Under Chu Ting’er's explanation, Ling Tian finally understood. It turns out that while still in his mother's stomach, Grandpa Ling went to meet the biggest financial figure, the head of the Xiao family, and proposed to his daughter-in-law's daughter-in-law. Both sides agreed that if both were men, then they would swear; if they were both sisters, they would be sisters; and if it were men and women, then they would be sisters, then they will be a couple.

Ling Tian suffered from a burst of depression! This system of feudalism can actually lead to the death of a person; how old is this, that a five-year-old child could have completed the milestones of his marriage… ..

Ling Tian was obviously not happy about this; he was thinking of actually chasing after someone to become his future wife. This could be due to the fact that even in his previous life, he had never felt the feeling of falling in love. In his heart, Ling Tian felt that love was filled with mystery, and was something he was looking forward to.

Furthermore, in the depths of Ling Tian's heart, he was in conflict with the kind of political and lucrative marriage that formed between families to enhance the alliance of the two families. He also hated the fact that families would sacrifice their descendants to do such a thing.

It is true that in this world, only the strong will be respected. However, this definitely does not include love. One could even say that power and might be able to get you the body of any woman, but not her heart and love! And what Ling Tian wanted was a lover, not the name of a wife or a tool to vent his lust, no matter if she was as beautiful as an immortal.

“Mother, I don't want to have a wife. Please help me to refuse the wedding!” Ling Tian held onto Chu Ting’er's arm, shaking him left and right, as he behaved like a rampaging child. A blegh! Ling Tian puked mentally, but he had no choice. Since this mother did not accept the hard and soft method, the only way to deal with this problem was to use this move; ling Tian had to act like he was immature.

“This will not work!” Chu Ting’er put on a fierce, firm face and did not give any basis to her. “Your grandfather specifically secured this marriage for you, how could it be poor? The other party must be a little pretty!”

Ling Tian furrowed his brows with reluctance and unwillingness, saying, “No matter how beautiful she is, she definitely cannot compare to mother. Mom is the prettiest!” He ruthlessly licked his mother, as such words were received in the ears of most women. Let alone be spoken by his own son, who only contains the most sincere admiration of someone he has weaned and a sense of dependence.

After being affectionate for a while, Chu Ting’er finally said, “Oh right, Tian’er, after you came out today, Master Qin was not too happy about it and his face was ugly enough to look at. You have to be so careful this time and be a good boy, otherwise if your teacher beats you, I wouldn't care about that. ”

Ling Tian smiled to himself; the reason Master Qin felt humble was probably because of himself, but not as his mother explained. Rather, it was because the old man was confident in himself, yet had unwittingly been brought in for a ride by a five-year-old child. It would be surprising if he did not feel angry at this matter.

“I'll check it.” Ling Tian turned his body to leave. “By the way, Mom, I brought home a little beggar from outside today. Let him follow me from now on.” Before Chu Ting’er had a chance to reply, his shadow had yet to be seen.

Chu Ting’er could only cast a curse, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. This little fellow, how is this considered a request? It was more like just telling him.

As for why Ling Tian was doing this, Chu Ting’er also understood. He said that he wanted the little beggar as his personal servant, and it was better that they did not hire him to do other tasks. Forget it, let her do as she pleases, Chu Ting’er thought inwardly, as he called the maid and gave her some instructions.

Master Qin had a face full of black lines as he sat alone in the study room, still feeling gloomy about the fact that he was taken advantage of in the morning. As he sulked, he realized that Ling Tian was acting covertly at the door, and could not help but scold, “Since you've returned, why didn't you enter? What do you see ?!”

Pouting at himself, Ling Tian walked over to stand in front of Master Qin.

With the sound of “hmph”, Mr. Qin turned his head in the other direction. Towards this disciple, he had a love-hate relationship; every word he spoke would be captured and understood by Ling Tian who could further give his own point of view on the matter, often times let Master Qin receive enlightenment. Master Qin dared to conclude that Ling Tian could definitely inherit his legacy in the future, promoting his studies and name to everyone under the heavens.

However, what left him helpless was the fact that this student was too smart. All of the previous methods to force a small child could not be used against him. Even to the extent that giving him encouragement would result in him refuting the entire chapter in return, and it would flow out in a burst, with every word polished like a pearl. This usually fascinated Master Qin when he realized that words could be used in such a way. In the end he would come to a realization from his trance, not knowing who the real teacher was and who the disciple between the two of them was.

Taking a quick look at Master Qin's facial expression, Ling Tian was naturally able to tell that his mood was not good, so he decided to stretch his tongue and said, “Master, please, this student has a problem that needs your help to eliminate my confusion.” As he spoke, his expression and tone were polite and polite.

When Master Qin heard this, his heart was filled with satisfaction, quickly looking back, “Hahahaha, good student, say all the doubts you have, say, the teacher here will say everything he knows, without withholding any information!” Hmph hmph, you little bastard, after all, the things you know in this world are actually very few!

With a groan, Ling Tian made a sour face as he said, “Just mother told me that my betrothed fiancee will be arriving soon.”

Master Qin was stunned! Only after a while did he come to his senses and angrily asked, “This is the question you want to ask your teacher?” After his anger subsided somewhat, he realized that this was actually quite funny; a weak child who was only a few years old already had a fiancee.

Ling Tian sighed in an exaggerated manner before continuing, “How could that be? If I can solve this small problem easily, why should I bother a great teacher?” Master Qin nodded his head slightly at this, looking satisfied. However, Ling Tian actually continued, “Moreover, Sir really can't help as well.”

Mr Qin was instantly enraged, “Omong was empty! What kind of nonsense are you saying!”
