Cornelius sat back in his chair, and Mr. Bernando also sat down.

Cornelius and Mr. Bernando looked at each other with sharp gazes. Making the atmosphere feel tense for Irene and her friends.

Rina and Ricardo seem to have finished their meal.

Irene is still not. Like thinking of something.

"Irene Why are you quiet like that? is there something?" ask Rina

"Nothing."

Irene stood up from her chair, walked up to pick up the dirty dishes on the table, took them to the dishwasher, to avoid the question.

When Irene returned, Mr. Bernardo reprimanded. "Why did he collect all the dishes, including the Cornelius dinner plate which was clearly not finished.

"Why are all the dishes cleaned, the young man can finish his meal.

I think two are done eating, though,

"You're like the guy you think you told Dad.

Suddenly Cornelis appeared

"I have to go back now. Thank you for dinner." he said farewell to Mr. Bernando.

I'll take you down to the bottom." said Irene

Irene's dad accompanied Cornelis downstairs first." she said turning to Dad for permission

Irene drove Cornelis down, and they walked out of the boarding house together. As long as they were out of the boarding room, Cornelis and Irene. Irene thought Cornelius questioned it again.

"I want to ask you something

"Ask it." said Cornelius flatly

"What did you say to my dad earlier that's true?

"You mean the one I asked your father for blessing to marry you?

Irene nodded her head

"Yes, I want to marry you. Do you want to marry me, spend time with me until the end of your life? he turned to look at Irene. Irene could not say anything. After Irene learned the words Cornelius was not joking but serious.

"Are you sure you want to marry me?" he said with a surprised face

"Yes, I'm sure. Aren't you sure I can't make you happy?

"No, but we were just in a relationship a few months ago. But you're sure you want to marry me.

Because I love you and you're the right woman for me, the woman who has fascinated my heart since I first found a pair of beautiful eyes from my eggplant to make me imagine you

"I'm sure fate sent you for me.

"I love you too, but it's too soon for me and my dad. Looks like dad still hasn't agreed with our relationship" she said looking sad

Cornelius hugged Irene. "You take it easy. I won't be discouraged by your father's blessing. And I'm not gonna force you to marry me, until you're really ready to accept me as my future husband." Irene raised her hand to embrace Cornelius's arm.

" I love you."

"I love you too." Cornelius replied as he kissed Irene on the forehead.
