The Lost Of Ramadan

The Lost Of Ramadan
Thalib in the Land of the Sun Ekhad Part 2

“Let him go and give him back his!” the man said to Nashif.

Nashif the king stared intently at the man who rebuked him. “Hah ... You're so serious, I'm just kidding,” he replied and then threw a small bag of gold coins at the bodyguard who had released Thalib.

The man approached Thalib and returned his bag, and took the bag from the bodyguard. “I'm sorry for the sassness of my sister sir ..” he said stopped trying to remember.

“Thalib,” Reply Thalib.

“It's okay, I'm sure the lord of the king just wants to make sure that I am indeed someone close to Alhudari,”.

“Hey Kak Sayyid what made you come here,” said Nashif who had been staring annoyed.

Sayyid turned his face to the side to look at Nashif who was relaxing on his throne. “I just want to pick up a guest istemewa Dad,” replied he looks not like the behavior of his sister.

With a feeling that was still upset Nashif went with his bodyguard. “Mari Tuan,” said Sayyid asked him to walk somewhere.

“How's the old king doing?” ask Thalib.

“King is in severe pain and his position must be replaced with my sister,” Sayyid replied.

Thalib. “But not the older prince, so why not the prince who became his successor.”

She smiles. “We have our own rules about this.” his smile as if to keep it a secret.

After walking together in the palace, Sayyid opened the door, which was the room of his father who was lying sick. “Dad, your guest has come,” he said meekly.

“I heard you were Alhudari's student huh, is that right?” ask the former king.

“True sir, He once told me that you are a very kind and caring person,” replied Thalib.

The former king laughed a little. “I learned from him! How is it now?”

“He has long died,” said Thalib almost powerless.

The former King stared silently at the ceiling of his room. “He used to say that death can come at any time, but with a service, the death of that person will be remembered forever.”

He looked fixed Thalib in tears. “Surely he is always remembered by those who have known him?”

Thalib nodded when he heard it, and so did Sayyid who was there. “Sayyid my son please help prepare his family to stay at our palace,”.

“Good Dad, I will definitely prepare everything.”

“Sorry I object to this!” nashif shouted into the room.

“What do you mean,” replied Sayyid slowly staring intently.

“I just don't want any outsiders living in my palace, what else is a poor person like him,” he said turned slowly inaudible to them.

Sayyid stared in wonder as did his father and Thalib. “I mean, there's no way I'm letting an unknown person and my name as Alhudari's student stay in the palace! Could tell that was a lie.  Everyone can do that, so we should be careful with people like that, what else I fear this will be fatal to Dad.” he continued to criticize his father.

“Just calm Nashif he really is a student of Alhudari,” he replied.

“Dad ... This is for your good, we should not let him stay in the Palace, I understand I mean right..” he replied near the ears of the father, as if to say something impliedly.

“Nashif!” sayyid shouted very angry.

“Sayyid! even though he's your brother, he's still a king, no matter what the decision is we have to admit it,” his father said.

“Good Dad,” answered slowly.

“Don't worry about me, I really understand about it, anyway I don't intend to stay in the palace,” cut Thalib trying not to interfere.

“We are very sorry, I will deliver the master and ask the residents so that you can stay at their home,” Sayyid replied.

Then Talib and Sayyid said goodbye to the previous king and went to the houses of the people near the palace to ask them that Talib could stay in the middle.

But it is very unexpected that all the houses in the house always refused Thalib to stay in their house, they reasoned almost the same as Nashif did not want and was afraid of foreigners living in their safe residence, even though Sayyid was a prince who asked for it, they still refused for that reason.

Until they arrived in one of the houses slightly separated from the houses of the nearby residents, the house looked small and the building was not so well maintained, a lot of tall grass in the yard.

The wood that became the wall of the house also looks weathered and perforated as well as the roof made of woven leaves has been worn.

“Looks like the house is no occupant, we better go there,” Sayyid said.

“Wait a minute, it would be nice to check it first, if you know there are people who occupy it because the inside is still good,” replied Thalib.

Sayyid just nodded in agreement and followed Thalib first. “What is the person inside,” Sayyid said while tapping.

Suddenly, the sound of people coughing and opening the door. “Cih ... what do you want to come here,” said a grandfather look annoyed at both of them.

“What! How can anyone stay at home unfit like this!” sayyid was shocked to not believe it.

“Ha .. You should ask that of the king who leads you now!”

Sayyid flinched consciously and immediately bowed. “Ma-sorry this is our fault, we will immediately send help to you mr.”

“Why are you the one who apologized young man, it's not your fault! Blame it all on the king who memimipin!” upset answer.

“Then I as the son of the previous king represent to apologize for our mistakes that did not pay attention to his people, we really apologize.” Hearing that answer, the grandfather was surprised to find out that the one in front of him was a prince.

“There is one more thing I ask, willing sir let him to stay a few days at the host's house,” pinta Sayyid.

The grandfather looked at Thalib. “Hmmh .. it turns out so, so the king and other residents do not want to accept it,” he said as he sighed.

“Allow me to stay here, I promise to do whatever you want,” said Thalib.

“Alright, if you want to stay at my place you must take care of me until I die,” replied the grandfather.

Sayyid and Thalib were shocked. “Let me know you are a traveler, surely you want to continue the journey.”

“Hah .. I am old and sick so it will not be long for me to die,” he continued to turn into the house.

“No, I will take care of the master until he is healthy again and when the master is completely healthy then I will go back to continue the journey!” thalib looked at him seriously.

He gasped with Thalib's reply. “Basically you young people understand, it is up to you that it is important that you take care of me.” Grandpa answered to his room.

Thalib looked at Sayyid. “Thank you very much for helping me prince Sayyid, I will stay here for a while.”

“Thank God if you don't mind staying here, I'm really sorry for the carelessness of the residents here, tomorrow I will bring a staple food for you both,” he replied.

“I was really embarrassed when I saw that our people were experiencing poverty like this,” he lowered his head.

Thalib smiled. “Be quick to take the right action and think carefully about what to do next, you leaders should always be sensitive to their people,” replied Thalib patted his shoulder.

“Well let me go first to make sure the other residents, hopefully this is the only person who experienced it.” Hearing his reply, Thalib nodded and then left.
