“Honey, what happened?”
Kailla panicked when she found her husband crying. Very rarely do Pram. Even in the most difficult times the man will hold back and try to look tough.
However, this moment is different. Her husband hid from all eyes and cried in one corner of the world. The wrinkled line-decorated face in the corner of the eye was wet by the crystal liquid implying despair and injury.
“Sayang.” Kailla stepped forward. The pregnant woman set the distance when Pram did not react as usual. Just looking at you and throwing your eyes in the other direction.
“I'm sorry.” Kailla whispered softly. His hands clasped each other in front.
The face is also hurt, especially when the husband is still not willing to forgive voluntarily.
“I'm sorry, Darling. Not mauku. I'm just like you, worrying about Kent. He's also my son.” Kailla bowed, biting her lower lip.
A second, a minute, almost ten minutes of silent greeting. The couple did not talk to each other. Communication is only one way. Kailla continued to talk and Pram just kept quiet, either listening or considering the wife's words like the wind.
The roar of the air-conditioning machine was heard quietly, accompanying Pram's moving footsteps, approaching and standing before Kailla with both hands folded over her chest.
“Call it your fault, Kai?” A hoarse voice sounded from Pram's lips. “After passing on your mistake, maybe I can forgive you,” continued Pram staring intently.
“I'm sorry. My biggest mistake was not taking Tom and Ricko. Though I know they were hired to look after the twins. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if Tom had been with me.” Kailla gulped after successfully breaking her first mistake.
Pram looked at in silence. The look in his eyes was so terrifying, ready to tear everyone apart.
“Hmm, what else?”
“As a mother, I should put my children's interests first. Always keep an eye on wherever my son is. Although there is Kinara, still the main responsibility is on my shoulders.” Kaila re-describes the reason so she feels she deserves the blame.
“Then?” Pram nodded.
“Em ...” Kaila seemed to think hard before answering her husband's question. “I shouldn't have given Kinara permission to accompany Kentley to play outside.” Kailla bowed after revealing her disgrace and sin.
“Then?” Pram's still cold.
“I'm sorry, Honey. I promise I won't repeat ..” Kailla's sentence is truncated, Pram already interjected.
“I'm sorry, Darling.” Kailla.
“What after I forgive you .. My son will be found?” asked the 45-year-old defiantly.
“I'm sorry, Darling.” Kailla ventured closer. After not working with his explanation, he hopes Pram can be soft with his touch.
“But, Darling ...”
“No buts. Go home and reflect.”
“How about Kent?” Kailla still insists.
“Go home now and wait for news. I don't want this to happen to my eldest son either. Bentley's still home, need your attention,” swiped out Pram haughtily.
“Don't until I give it all to you. Home now!” expel Pram.
“But what about Kentley?”
“That's my business. Enough of Bent's urgency, I don't want everything getting messy.”
Kailla said after confirming that Pram had not given her a chance for now. Turning around without saying goodbye, Kailla stepped out of her husband's study. His mind was not calm, imagined the fate of his son as ASI.
Passing through the deserted corridor, Kailla passed through the pitch-black spaces. Until a few more steps left to reach Pieter's room, Kailla heard something unnatural. The secret spoken in a stifled voice.
The space belonging to the representative of the RD Group was still brightly lit. A man's voice rang out alternately discussing the matter of kidnapping.
“Bay, Pram asked me to contact Ditya Halim Hadinata again. Find out about Uncle Kailla who is now in his hands. We have to pry all the information from a man named Reino.” Pieter ruled over Bayu and some of his associates.
Deg—
Kaila stopped her steps at the right time. He put his ears on the wall to hear everything. Reino's name which suddenly became a conversation made him curious.
“Reino is her uncle Madame Kailla.” Pieter with crutches in hand walked back and forth while sharing the story. He wanted everyone in the room to draw conclusions before moving on and going on a mission.
Bayu looks to nod and understand.
“For your information, Ditya's Wife Halim Hadinata is the cousin of Mrs Kailla, his wife Mr. Pram. Maybe the investigation can start there. You can ask for help from Ditya's assistant, Rahmat Hidayat. From the data I got Ditya and his wife are in London, waiting for the birth of their first child."
Kailla's heart rumbled upon hearing the important news that everyone had been hiding from her all along. The mother of the twins was sure as sure as she was sure, if she did not hear wrong. Pieter insists that he still has a brother whom he has not known all along.
Kailla's body is slumping. Surprise came and gave him no chance to breathe.
“It turns out I'm not alone. I still have a family.” . Kailla's eyeballs warmed up, before long the clear liquid pressed out, moistening the cheeks.
